Skiing Wipeout!

Day trip to Tahoe on March Thursday, March 30th
Gusts and blizzards in the morning- making it difficult to see where we were actually skiing. On the bright side, the fresh fallen snow covered most of the icy patches beneath us.
When the sun began to shine, we challenged ourself to attempt an "expert only" run. Usually we wait till the afternoon, when the snow softens, to attempt these runs. However, because of the powder covering the ice, we thought we'd attempt it a little earlier.
At time 00.53 seconds, Kushaal falls over his skis and begins tumbling down the mountain, right into the camera woman (Dheyani).
Dheyani, "I knew it was going to happen. But by the time I told my body to move out of the way, Kushaal's skis flew off of him and hit me on their way down the mountain. After being in contact with the skis, Kushaal knocked me over and we both tumbled even further down the mountain, tangled.
Kavi was about 200 ft below the two of us. She was in the pathway of one of Kushaal's skis bolting down the mountain. The ski hit her, wiped her out, and continue its decent into the trees beneath us.
It took all of us a couple moments to recuperate. Phew! But man, was it a fun fall! Luckily, we tumbled through powder so the only bruises and aches were from the impact of the shooting skis!
To add the the challenge, Kushaal skied to the bottom of the run with one ski! Can you imagine that? Skiing with ONE SKI down a DOUBLE BLACK DIAMOND! He survived! Also, he didn't have many options because his second ski was buried somewhere wayyyy down the run! WE DID FIND THE SECOND SKI THOUGH! So it was all good in the end! And of course we went back up the chairlift and down the same run again, again, and again :)
