They actually took some of the school boys and the principle to South Korea a way back on their other channel. He is super cool that principle and he loves food 😂
He seemed to be a cool principal in this video. That would be fun to see!
@@TheDemouchetsREACT u guys should realy see the school boys go to korea its so much fun!!! only thing is the follow order is a bit messed up on there playlist so watch the date's when they were released if u do gonne react to them.
There other channel is called Korean Englishman
Popeyes opened its first branch in Scotland end of September and the queues were 18 hours long 😂 they are now opening another branch😂
😂😂 We love to hear this!
They have an episode where they try Biscuits and Gravy for the first time. Amazing to watch the 180 from them dragging how it looks and then cleaning the plate when they try it 😂
So near as I can tell the origin of them calling it chips vs fries is that they are literally calling it chipping bits off the potato. Where we focus on the specific cut ( French) and fry.
We do eat pickles, though mainly in burgers and sauces, rarely on it's own or on the side.
Also, we call them Gherkins, and the term "Pickles" is a more general term used for any pickled food.
Also, you don't need to introduce Honey to most of us, that kid was an aberration, but most of us are very familiar with honey. We have been eating it and making alcohol from it from LONG before your country existed.
A British classic is Crumpets with lashings of Butter and Honey (and no, Crumpets are not the same as English Muffins, which are a baked dough product, while Crumpets are cooked on a stovetop, in ring moulds, from a yeasted batter).
This is a great reaction from you two. Jolly and Korean Englishman are my favorite videos to watch by far.
I know you recently watched a couple others. I have too.
I am from California and I have never had gumbo in my life. After watching Josh and Ali slurping it down I had to make it for myself.
After looking up 10 recipes they were all so different so I made as close as to what they had and it was amazing. frozen crawdads are available here, I never knew.
I feel bad that when I was in Louisiana I did not try it but I did have an awesome time when I was there learning the history and having fun on Bourbon street.
Potato chips on a turkey sandwich is delicious. The guy adding fries to his sandwich has got it. I agree.
100% agree I put chips on my sandwich also
Most Brit's like and use spices these days. One of the country's (U.K.) favourite dishes is Curry and that can range from mild to blow your head off. I like using Cajun or Moroccan spice on chicken. Pickles here can mean most sorts of pickled vegetables, onions, cabbage, beetroot and such. I like pickled eggs too. We usually say pickled cucumbers or pickled gherkins. Just found your channel, loving it.
Does anyone remember Po’ Folks? It was a chain in Kentucky. The most buttery biscuits ever!
Many a time I've nearly been killed by a Popeye's biscuit 🤣
We all have😂😂
I'd definitely suggest a journey down Korean Englishman with high school students being introduced to Korean food..
I gotta say... When Popeyes came to South Africa I was excited to try ... I liked their cajun chicken and how crispy it was and gave different things on the menu a fair try about 3 - 4 times... Each time I just felt some'm was missing though so I stopped buying it and so did other people I guess cos it closed down quickly in Sandton City... Nothing wrong with it, just something missing
We’ve had bad Popeyes experiences just in the next state over so this isn’t anything new unfortunately.😒
@@TheDemouchetsREACT interesting... Maybe they just don't do it as well as in Louisiana...
Off-topic, I saw the soul food reaction and I really wanna try gumbo one day over there 😋
Please react to more of this videos they have so many. Love when they have the high schoolers react
Most Brits like spice, their national dish is Chicken Tikka Masala for heaven's sake. I think they are probably more familiar with Asian/Indian spices than Cajun/Creole though.
Fun Fact The word 'soccer' is actually a British word. England called it soccer first. England hated that Americans used the term soccer so they changed what they play to football. Rugby is from Australia.
The New Zealand family you reacted to earlier (trying Raising Cane's) has just posted a video of them reacting to Popeyes.
Enjoy your reactions
Dude, home made tuna or chicken salad sandwich with Lays potato chips on the salad.
Pickles is used more as a general term for a genre of food. Pickled Gherkins and dill pickles are what is normally used on burgers. When using in referral to a burger yes you would say "pickle" but if going to buy the specific one in the shop or to make them then it would be (dill)pickled gherkins and you would likely need to check what else its pickled with.
A Popeyes just opened in Manchester, I might try some.
In Britain there is a something called "a chip butty". It is chips - french fries - sandwhiched between thick buttered bread.
Black Brits don't eat that nonsense thats like a very white or "British" thing
I like the Church's biscuit too. I like to be able to eat a biscuit with nothing on it.
I’m With Him I Put FriesOn My Burger & Chips On All Of My Sandwiches!!!
We have lot of pickles in india but they are very different from the pickle you eat as it looks like this 🥒 . Here we have mango , carrot , teat , lehswa , garlic , ginger and many other pickles
I was sad when I watched this JOLLY video that they didn't have red beans and rice for the high schoolers to try. It's easily my favorite Popeye's side. I also usually put them in my biscuit.
You should watch those boys eating Korean street food. They go to next level. Its hilarious.
We tend to have pickles with cold meats in uk . Love your ❤ channel.
try brits try bisquits and gravy
Love this series please continue with the high school kids food vids & also the americans trying brit snacks is funny lol
I don't know what to expect with Popeye's but I do hope the fried chicken doesn't disappoint. I love good fried chicken.
You won't be disappointed!!!😋😋😋
Hearing them say they aren’t fans of Mack ‘ n’ cheese is crazy… literally who on the planet hates a noodle with cheese?!?
Check out the one where they try biscuits and gravy. It's so good.
"Your New Zealand Family" channel just uploaded their "First Time Trying Popeyes Chicken" vid yall
We call them chips in Australia too… hot chips and Australia and NZ KFC is an everyday thing for us Pacific Islanders
Dip their chicken strips in the mashed potatoes and gravy. It's amazing. A scone and a biscuit are different. We also have scones in parts of the USA
They are building a Popeyes here and can't wait
About to get my husband to go get some lol this made me crave popeye's so bad😂😂
I didn’t know we had Popeyes in the UK!!
Peanut Butter Mayo Banana Sandwich with Wise Potato chips. Mmmmmm.
Please please watch their other channel Korean Englishman
Red lobster has the best biscuits
Pepper being too spicy is kinda wild ngl his parents need to season his food 😅
Hell yeah chips on sandwiches are great.
Chips or fries? Lol
Idk what you mean by our chips(fries) are soggy? They’re thicker n just have more potato in, they shouldn’t be soggy..
N we do like a crisp (chip) sandwich here, as well as a chip(fry) sandwich called a chip butty
I'm so with you about KFC. I don't know where those 11 herbs and spices went but it ain't in the chicken.
If you want to laugh watch the one where black Brits try Popeyes, it's hilarious.
Scones and biscuits share 100% of the same ingredients, but a scone is not a biscuit.
Becareful on impressions. I literally just left a bag of colby jack curds in the microwave too long. Holy shit i love Wisconsin
Fries are chips
Chips are crisps
I love the spicy chicken sandwich but unfortunately they've been hit and miss lately
Hot take. Popeye's is my number 3 chicken fast food after Bojangles and Jollibee's. Jollibee's actually spices the batter so their spicy chicken sandwich is not just from a sauce. Dammit I'm hungry now...
You have to ask for Spicy chicken at Popeyes. It isn’t only in the sauce. Jollibee’s has good chicken! We have yet to try Bojangles but we hear its good.
@@TheDemouchetsREACTwhere is jollibees at? Must be a regional thing
KFC HAD spicy chicken, but last I saw it was the 90s. They've canceled it.
when you get to Jamaica you must try KFC here... it is dubbed to be the best in KFC in the world, make sure you get the BBQ chicken
Everytime someone talk about chicken or biscuits they never mention bojangles🤯 they have some of the best you can get. Atleast the one i go to in north Carolina.
Bojangles is good but it's expensive.
@@cicada9471 thats true ngl
Watch Recky & Carol (2 Swedes) try Zatarains.
they got rid of cajun rice in new england popeyes.....im soo sad
Are chips they call them crisp.
all ways but fries with the burger
I'm from Kentucky. Popeyes is better than KFC. Even Colonel Harland Sanders, the actual Col. Sanders that founded the restaurant, after he sold it to the corporate people that franchised it, said out loud in public, "the new gravy tastes like wallpaper paste." Popeyes > KFC.
And the cole slaw at KFC used to be really good but the new recipe is not worth eating.
Since the early 2000's KFC fell off hard. Popeyes is the new Top fast food chicken.
I live in Alabama and personally I would rather have Bojangles over Popeyes, Churches, and KFC. I think Bojangles is much better.
so sad when KFC took potato wedges off the menu and replaced with thick cut fries
Popeye's biscuits....more effective than sandpaper!! 😜
But yeah...I hate KFC.
Popeye's is helping me like fried chicken again. I hated it for 20 years because of trauma. Love chicken, just hated it fried.
Right now, it is only the sandwich I can deal with. Still having a hard time with bone in chicken.
Hopefully one day i can be okay with it again.
I hope you all keep reacting to Jolly. Their appreciation for new foods, willingness to try new things...gives me hope. Them also just being likeable and funny helps as well.
😂😂 Make sure your drink in nearby for the biscuits! Cooking food for yourself can help with anxieties.
13:01 i eat popeyes biscuits by themselves they over reacting 😕 them junts fye
Aw man, you still have churches chicken? I haven’t had churches chicken since I was a child. ( because they all closed in my area)
We do although the pandemic affected some locations.
