Hey man! Thanks for noticing lol! Unfortunately untill the channel can become big enough to do full time, I am still at the mercy of my main business' which can fluctuate in work loads! Life can get hectic! Hope you've been well too. More to come.
just ordered this mic after watching your review, it will be the first mic i have ever bought for gaming. I always used a headset, so i will see how it goes.
I was shopping around for mics and you’ve sold me on this and thanks for explaining pop screen feature. Big help for a mic noob like myself. I appreciate you putting in UK affiliated links in description too.
I bought this mic for both me and my friend, this is a good mic, it really is, just make sure if you don't have a lot of background noise because it will pickup that.
To do with the background noise, first off is to keep decent gain level, the dial setting on mic is of crucial importance. Set it below 50% if you're in a noisy room and the noise cant get rid of, such as the sound from fans or air-condition. Next, set computer input at around 80%. At last, the speaking range is another aspect that makes the great difference. Keep the mic 3-5 inches away from mouth, the closer the better. But overall the best method to have great sound quality is to setup the use environment (if the mic is not defective). And the treated room can be done with ease, and here's our blog for your reference: fifinemicrophone.com/blogs/news/how-to-make-an-acoustic-treatment-on-a-budget

i just got sent this mic from FiFine... this might be a silly question but... how do i record the audio on my imac then sync it with my camera video? i use final cut pro so i can do that part but what do you record your audio in? garage band? Thanks
You can use a lot of things, quicktime player for example would be fairly simple - open it up, then choose new audio recording from the file menu. I used OBS in this video to record the audio to my laptop.
If you want the recording software, you could just use the recording software that comes with computer, like the soundrecorder on Windows and QuickTime Player on Mac. Also you could download a more powerful recording software, like Audacity, which is free online and it can modify and edit recording sounds.
hey there futurespace, quick question about the recording process of this mic. was the audio used raw or edited in post. thanks have a wonderful day and keep up the great content.
Not this one, but I'm releasing a new video of the Fifine K690 this Friday, which has both a mute button and dedicated headphone jack among many other advanced features!
Does anyone know how this one fairs against the fifine a6t? They're both around the same price with the same accessories but I don't know which one is better
For the clearest tone, A6T is better. With a bit of warmth in your voice and slightly better noise rejection, T669 is the choice. And if the build quality is also the deciding factor for you, the T699 is much better built with a metal body.
How did you get the audio to go to what you're recording on like do I have to record on my laptop to get the webcam and audio or can I record with my phone webcam and get the audio from my laptop
It's all dependant on the software your using and it's capability to utilize or select the USB microphone as it's input source (and the correlating camera source as well).
Thanks for the review I just got this over blue yeti because it's half cheaper but the sound quality is almost the same. And there are people that prefer fifine sound over yeti. I also want to purchase accessory so the fact that fifine included everything was a no brainers. I want to record a video podcast. Will the sound quality be affected? I'm just starting my channel so I'm a noob thank you
Hey there, thanks for watching. It is a great buy especially all things considered that you mentioned. Although I'm not quite sure what you mean by "no USB plug" as that is literally the only output connection the Mic has. I'm not sure if you can adapt the Microphone to use on an Android phone, it's a good question, perhaps if you had the right adapter it could be possible, but maybe someone with more knowledge of Android I/O's would be able to help you out.
Hey Evan, Will be relaunching and trying to post again on a weekly basis come Jan 8th! Been busy with work and such, but have been putting time into creating new content! Thanks so much for being a huge supporter!
No need to worry. Even the high-class USB microphone can't filter keyboard noise completely, but we can adjust the dial setting to reduce the noise coming from the computer. First off, set the dial below 50% if you're in a noisy room. Next, set computer input at around 80%. At last, the speaking range is another aspect that makes the great difference. Keep the mic 3-5 inches away from mouth, the closer the better. If you have any software with the level meter, it's recommend to adjust the volume setting and make the meter bounces from -12db to -16db, then the sound will be pretty decent.
While there's no absolute answer to your question, (it's all situational and how you use it/placements, settings). Microphones all work in the same way, for best results, try to get the mic as close as possible to your "recording source" and adjust the volume (gain) accordingly, this makes the balance ratio of our source to unwanted noise the most ideal.
Not a bad choice, but if you want that distinctive podcast sound, it maybe better to look for a dynamic mic to give you more lows. Because even the T669 is the mic with slightly more bass than the others, it's hard to compete with most dynamic mics when it comes to the warm and deep voice reproduction.
With a similar price, you can get T669 which is made of metal, while TC-777 is plastic. Most importantly, in terms of the noise floor, the T669 can beat the TC-777 out of water. And besides the bass-heavy, the T669 picks up much less background than most condenser mics.
Do you monitor your sound via a headphone or speaker? Just disable the microphone monitoring feature on your computer or software sound setting, then you won't hear the echo.
Um yes, it's plug and ready to work, you need the recording software like Audacity or the conferencing app Zoom to get it to work. Or did you mean that you wanted to hear audio from it right after you spoke to the mic?
If you want the recording software, you could just use the recording software that comes with computer, like the soundrecorder on Windows and QuickTime Player on Mac. Also you could download a more powerful recording software, like Audacity, which is free online and it can modify and edit recording sounds.
Is this microphone good for singing and playing guitar at the same time? I read very often that the sound saturates, and even more if the person raises the intensity of the voice. I just play live, not recording.
hey i have a question how do you connect your microphone to ur iphone to record the sound? i’ve been having trouble because when i record it cuts the audio every other second like the audio is missing? i am wondering if that happens to u? which adapter or how did u set up ur microphone to connect to ur iphone? & can u tell me which products u used? idk if i’m using the wrong ones or not??? thank you so much!
If turning down the volume to below 60% and taking a step closer to the mic to speak within 5 inches doesn't help, then you may need to take a look at the RTX voice, but you need to have an RTX card in the first place. If your background is too noisy or you're concerned about it, get a less sensitive dynamic mic instead.
Just FYI - The shock mount in the video was installed upside down! (easy mistake, it's pretty symmetrical looking!) The volume knob is very accessible when the mount is installed the other way for any of those who were wondering!

Liked and subscribed. Bought mine and just set it up. What software do you use to record your voice with FiFine?
Awesome! Thanks for subbing, I was using OBS in the video to capture my voice
If you want the recording software, you could just use the recording software that comes with computer, like the soundrecorder on Windows and QuickTime Player on Mac. Also you could download a more powerful recording software, like Audacity, which is free online and it can modify and edit recording sounds.
If I wanted to get a microphone isolation shield to put behind the microphone, would I need to get another stand for it?
No the included boom arm is fine, since the shield on the mic body and mesh won't interfere with the boom arm.
Would you recommend this over the siren mini?
Yes!
Is this microphone good for singing and playing guitar at the same time? I read very often that the sound saturates, and even more if the person raises the intensity of the voice.
I just play live, not recording.
Hi Meddler, no it's not an analog microphone that is suitable for live.
Hello, would u still recommend this microphone over any in this price category?
Yes!
Hey man, what's the brand and model name of the lav mic you're using? It sounds better than the Fifine one.
Saramonic UWMIC9
hey i have a question how do you connect your microphone to ur iphone to record the sound? i’ve been having trouble because when i record it cuts the audio every other second like the audio is missing? i am wondering if that happens to u?
which adapter or how did u set up ur microphone to connect to ur iphone? & can u tell me which products u used? idk if i’m using the wrong ones or not??? thank you so much!
I never connected this to my iPhone? I don't believe this mic is meant for that.
i have this microphone for a while but does it exist an app to setup the sound ? My friends keeps complaining about the keyboard sound...
