Chuck & Joe were one (if not the best) of the best guitar duo's put together. I had the privilege of seeing them every night that they played. This was early 70's at the Steak & Brew in Sheepshead Bay. They were also two of the nicest people I have met. They thought nothing of answering questions and being specific about the result. Chuck played his D'Angelico and Joe played a solid body guitar that he built himself. I always thank the stars that I was fortunate enough to see then nearly every night Sit and talk with them. Those memories are etched into my heart, for they were great people.
They had a regular Tuesday night thing in the city. I can't remember exactly where but, I think it was somewhere on the eastside on 1st or 2nd ave.in the 20's. I'd go when I could afford it. They were wonderful!
they were great, I met these guys at Gus Degazio's guitar studio in the early 70's in new Rochelle, they were friends with Gus and I was around 11 or 12 just learning the guitar. I was fortunate to see them play right there I was amazed to say the least. This is incredible.
Two great musicians
Brilliant

Anthony Petrino I️ studied with Gus Degazio in the mid 60’s. Meeting these monsters must have a treat.
Masters!
Great duo! They clearly listened to Enrique Granados, Danza Espanola No. 5.
This is how the big boys do it.
