It's super easy to make a Hyatt account & do the transfer. It takes less than ten minutes. Totally worth it. I got the Chase Sapphire card last fall and love it. You essentially get a free vacation every year :))
The portal is terrible, they just book through Expedia. I booked hotels in London and Paris on one itinerary and when we got to the second hotel they had no record of our reservation and chase was not helpful at all
would you say this is a good card to book international flights/accommodation? I looked at the portal prices and it's way more expensive for overseas things
Hello and thanks for the video. I'm traveling from Puerto Rico to NYC. For what I see I should use my points with the aworld of Hyatt instead transfering to Jetblue? I read that with Jetblue I get a value of 1.5 and with Worlf of Hyatt 2.8. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
How do I find the same out for flights? I would like to use it to book a flight but not sure if chase portal gets me more or should I transfer to an airline? Is it point for point?
I’d say you should first check and see if you under the 5/24 rule that chase has (basically means if you got approved for 5 credit cards or more in the past 24 months you will automatically be declined) if you are then go for the chase one first since hopefully you’re still under the 5/24 rule, then get the Venture. Hope that made sense for you🤙🏽
I would like to buy 4 tickets thru Southwest Airlines but I just signed up to Southwest Rapid Rewards so I don't have any points at all. I wonder, can I transfer all the points I need to buy the 4 tickets from my Chase Sapphire Preferred? Will I be able to use those transfer points to buy my husband and 2 kids tickets too?
Yes you can, if you go through the Transfer Partners in your Chase account, you can find Southwest and transfer your points out on a 1:1 scale. For example, if you have 80,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points, you can convert them into 80,000 Southwest Points and you’ll be able to then purchase your tickets using your points. Hope this helped
Yeah, I tried to transfer points from chase to Turkish Airlines I wasn't able to, although I knew you can cause TA is part of the Star alliance which chase has same transfer partners that are part of that alliance, any info about that ??!!!
Yes! The free night certificate for a Hyatt category 1-4 is a good benefit. The card annual fee is $95 and you can usually get more the $95 value out of the free night certificate. On top of that you get 5 qualifying nights that count towards your status and you earn extra Hyatt points when you use the card for Hyatt stays.
You can’t transfer points directly to Ethiopian. Instead you can transfer points to British airways who partners with Ethiopian and potentially book an Ethiopian flight via British Airways! Let me know if that made sense!
I got the Amazon prime credit card for 5% back on Amazon (big for me). Does it count as getting my foot in the chase door? I know they are infamous for denying new applicants
Its definitely a way to get into the chase ecosystem but it will only get you strictly cash back, not points because its co-branded with Amazon. A really good way to get points with chase is to get a Freedom card (like the Flex or Unlimited) or the Sapphire cards (the Preferred and the Reserve) because those give you points which is what you can use to book travel like you see in the video. I’d say start with the Freedom cards because they have no annual fees, easier chance of getting approved and they work with the Sapphire cards to eventually get the Chase Trifecta (which i just got and its honestly worth it) hope the Amazon card is treating you well tho but definitely look into those other cards if you wanna earn more and travel a lot easier and cheaper 🤙🏽
When you transfer the points, do you then book on the world of Hyatt website? If so, then you don't get the 5X because you didn't book on the portal. Am I correct on this? I'm waiting for sapphire preferred to arrive in the mail. I'm learning.
I love that the travel portal is always more expensive than the regular flight. It’s like 10% more expensive always for the exact same flight
I noticed that, especially for international stuff
So then what's the point?
Exactly almost no point
Can he do a video to show the real costs comparisons?
The only thing I can think of is that you get 5x points back when you book through the travel portal
I love how you are in depth about this! Very informative and you got a New subscriber!!
Can he do a video to show the real costs comparisons? Booking a flight on an airline website or Orbitz for example vs using points?
I love how you described this. Subscribed !!!
Thanks for the info. Kinda makes me not wanna get any of these travel cards because it seems to be a lot of signing up for other programs

@@ZeeZee9can you explain how you get a free one every year?
You're always helpful, and always very clear.
My budget $100 a night 🌙

Do they do price matching? 😅
Brilliant!
Can show how to do for venture x card for flight to Japan from California (LAX). Thanks.
Thanks also heard this but just getting first practical example
Great video brother keep it up 👍
Thank you!!
How much point from chase to hyatt is 25,000 hyatt points?
Points transfer 1:1. So 25k chase points = 25k Hyatt points
Can you do a video too if CSP then pls?Your videos are way easier to understand than others.tnx!
Thank ypu for sharing.

Is it possible to transfer my amazon prime points to the saphire? Or can i use it directly on the chase portal?
smart man thanks
Their portal is probably more expensive than other portals

Wow I’ve always wanted to go to the Vail
Do you still get that 50% bonus on top of that when you transfer points to a hotel partner
can you give me more example from Marriot and Ihg?
I need a suggestion. How do I apply for chase and venture at the same time

Would the point transfer work with other airlines that are not listed like ethiopian airlines

Been denied twice. Decided to hell with it and I’m gonna run the Capital One Savor One and Venture X. Chase trifecta has a lot of overlap.
It is a bad idea because you will just get yourself into Chase’s jail.
So your saying UR points are a 1:1 to Hyatt points? To clarify? 👌
Yea, but it's cheaper when you use Hyatt points.
If he used chase, 113k chase points
But with Hyatt, 25k (25k chase points)
Where's the pro when its more expensive through the portal?
Wowwww ima try this 🤯
🤯🤯🤯
Yep! Easy !
Is the transfer instantaneous or does it take some time for the points to be reflected on the partner’s site?
I did a transfer to Hyatt recently and it was instant (even though both Hyatt and Chase app said it would take longer).
What about other hotels or airfare? Are their other transfers as good?
Hyatt is usually the best deals for less points now for airlines, you can book AA flights through British Airways
And united flights through Canadian air
How tf do you buy a flight
How to get the points value to appear on Hyatt’s website?
Click on the box that says redeem points
Chase doesn't transfer to American Airlines.
Any travel partners for the gm marcus card
How to earn points by booking hotel? Not using points
How do you set up to show the points? I go to the website, they only show USD? Thanks
There should be a dropdown menu that says USD or "Pay with points"
Or every 100 points = $1
When you transfer the points, do you then book on the world of Hyatt website? If so, then you don't get the 5X because you didn't book on the portal. Am I correct on this? I'm waiting for sapphire preferred to arrive in the mail. I'm learning.
You are correct 👍🏼. When you book with points you won’t earn points
Yes but you still earn 3x points because it's travel.
Can you do Capital One next?
Okay so I wanted to do this but do I have to have an account with world of Hyatt or how do I get the card?
Yes, you need to create an account with Hyatt. It’s quick and easy
@@lilyhuynh8387is it free?
