Bro… you are a life saver. I bought a smaller knife for work and I got belt loops and even the ulticlip but the holes on the sheath were too small to fit the screws. So I found your video and made my own loops with paracord. Thanks buddy. I really appreciate it🤙🏾
after you carry it awhile like that let me know if you like the paracord belt loops please. Ive tried other clips and just like the paracord loops the best.
@@joecalton1449 so far so good. I personally love it. But I’ll keep you updated in the months to come if anything changes. Each one teach one. Much appreciation 🙏🏾
Thank you just the video I was waiting for. Great idea useing the cardboard for a pattern.Have you notice any damage or weakening to the sheath useing it has a belt carry?
out of half a dozen sheaths or so, and 5 years, the only one that has had anything wierd happen is that one with the corner broke off the last one. and it must have gotten a pretty hard hit or something to do that. and the sheath is still servicable and safe.
My most favorite wood is Paduk it is so dense it just does not move. I have not had a set shrink or expand so that you could tell it and I have used a bunch of it. Plain looking but for a work knife really hard to beat although if you buff it out on the buffer it looks amazing.
i have not tried the behind the back along with the belt carry. i think i tried along the belt in the front, sort of like a crossdraw and i think that worked ok. you would just have to tie the paracord so that it worked for you. if you wear a really wide belt, i might have to make a wider sheath so the rivets were more in line with the width of the belt though.

that is great luck! i think ive seen just about everything do it. even micarta and g-10.
Micarta and g10 are hard to beat on a heavy use work knife.
Have you tried a scout carry with this, and if so, how does it do?

I couldn't help but notice, at 2:59 you cut a fart and say "butt"
Put that first one on a horizontal, or swivel
