    That 1/4 wide flat bar should be vertical to stop the blade from dulling @ToolReviewZone

    The reason this works is because the battery powered saws uaually spin slower than corded. If you try this on a regular rpm spinning saw you will quickly wear down the blade. Always always, all the time! clamp down the work peace when cutting metal. Thanks for the video looks like you have the right set up for this torque,rpm and clamp on the saw

    Angle iron you should flip so its upside down will help not dull the blade and would cut the angle iron faster @ToolReviewZone

    We didn’t have a dedicated metal blade in the commercial window life. Would have been nice to have that. I always hated the kick back. Always used a lot of moist lubrications 👊

    For cutting angle iron-beleive with these type of cold cut blade you clamp the angle iron with the legs on the saw table-IE "tent" style.Usually these blades are intended for machines specifically designed to cut metal.Evolution Tools builds a miter saw that has a multipupose blade that can cut wood or metals.Use this-Works GREAT.Evolution tools also make blades for their machine for metal cut only or wood cut only.The motor spins the blade at a slower but higher torque speed.And now--Evolution tools has a cordless metal-wood cut miter saw!

    Yes it cuts a bit slower but it leaves a real nasss like clean cut, I'd definitely get that blade and a separate single bevel miter saw exclusive for cutting steel. Smeesh that like button,👀👉🏽 👍🏽

    What’s the RPM of your saw ? Max RPM for the blade. Can I use it on my miter box 5800 rpm ?

  • @exhilaratingbass
    @exhilaratingbass 3 года назад +1

    As this works in a wood saw, it works even better in a cold cut metal saw! Metal cutting saws cut at a slower RPM and have higher torque. Wood saws have a higher RPM and a lower torque. I would much rather have this than my abrasive saw mainly because of the sparks and noise. Note: Abrasive saws cut at an extremely high RPM so do NOT put this blade on a Abrasive saw. It will spin wayyyy to fast and will not have the balls to make chips into the metal. And was that the friendly neighborhood tool bear?? 😂 great video

    Best way to cut metal is smallest width vertical and largest flat surface being vertical cutting metal on the completely flat side across the whole saw width of the flat bar actually dulls the blade @ToolReviewZone

      @@ToolReviewZone just informing you how metal should be cut with these types of blades bro blades like this cut better with the least amount of teeth being engaged on the item being cut as possible if you lay the 1/4 plate down flat horizontal then more teeth on saw blade are engaged at the same time causing tooth wear if you stand the 1/4 plate vertical then only 1 or 2 teeth are engaged at all times with the blade and less tooth wear hope this explanation is better bro

    • @AntonioClaudioMichael
      @AntonioClaudioMichael 3 года назад

      @@ToolReviewZone just my experience with these types of blades being used on a metal cutting saw bro rpms are way higher on a miter saw then an actual metal cutting chop saw with a blade like this so changing how you cut will give even better results just trying to help bro

    I’m curious how the cut quality would be on wood. For that price it would be nice to be an all-in-one.

    • @ToolReviewZone
