@@AudioElectronicsChicago I know the stand alone decks are pretty easy I have done quite a few belts on them, but it looks like a pain to get to them on this unit though.
@@AudioElectronicsChicago I figured these aren't worth much. I think you are right about the idea of not spending the time to repair it. I was thinking the same thing.
You still have this year was 97 I used to own this model want it bad it came in a cabinet that sat on top of the superwoofer sounded amazing if you still have it message me id be interested in buying it I will repair
I just bought one of these with a giant load of speakers, Sony's and KLH, 3 subwoofers. Haven't plugged it in yet, has the cabinet, sub woofer, and matching speakers I think, all for the wallet busting price of $120. If it doesn't work, your more than welcome to it if your still interested in a rebuild project.
Have you tried using the sub with another stereo receiver? If yes, how did you do it with the System Control? Nevermind I just heard you say no subwoofer.
one of these all in one
This is the first one I have ever messed with. I am still wondering how hard those belts on the tape decks will be to change.
@@KLM817 On some decks it is easy, on some you have to disassemble the whole part to change them

@@KLM817 usually these all in one are not desirable and they go for pretty cheap, I don't know if it will be worth it to fix it

Sorry but I parted it out and recycled the rest of it. It was taking up room and I was tired of it taking up space.
It sure was 1997. I got mine at circut city still have mine it's fully functioning and sounds better than these new so called surround systems.
