Fetish in Japan has a completely different meaning than the rest of Western society. These are more “preferences”, but certainly not fetish ‘s in the purest definition of the word.
@@digitalduelist3555 maybe don't jusy use the dictionary. fetish in Japanese is not the same as English. In English a fetish is when a non sexual object or part of a body turns a person on. For example, girls liking a guys arms or a guy liking girls with stocking.
Lol someone doesn't know what fetishes are. Yes what youre describing can be a fetish, but it's much more than that. Roleplays, different pain inducing practices, giving up control completely (or taking control), ideas of being caught or watched or watching your partner/others do it. It just goes on
@PaMuShin I know, and I'm not that kinky or extreme either. Just tryna educate. It's also fine to feel weird about fetishes, as long as you dont judge people for their kinks (if it's all legal and consentual). And 'extreme' fetishes might be much more common than you think. It's not a small group of weird people.
Exactly the same meaning in Japan too. They're probably just giving random answers to avoid saying anything sexual in front of the camera. Asking what fetish you have is a very personal question, so if I were to be interviewed, I would probably give a random answer like those girls.
Funny that every interviewed girl answered a question what they like in men when asked about their fetishes. Japan is known to be a capital of weird fetishes, what comes to men's taste. No doubt that women are aware of that, and I don't buy they wouldn't have some of their own. If a man likes to eat sushi from naked girls body, for sure there are girls who are secretly thrilled by the idea of serving it. I'd say it's because of the culture, no girl could consider saying anything other than totally generic things.
I knew it women do indeed prefer the slight bit of natural body musk specially if it doesn't smell foul but rather has a sweet smell to it. Well now time to excercise and grow some muscles 😂
First time that I watch/hear an interviewer calling all her female interviewee "Onee-san" most of the time. I thought "onee-san" is used for family, relative or very close acquaintance.

Should've just called it what's your ideal dating type.
Strange idea video😮 can I interview you for my comic strip "Women's World"? Because the comic is international and describes the lives of women in different countries.
To everyone confusion, tbh "fetish" that they talking about is the real definition of fetish. Some likes low voice men, some like men with beard, those are originally what we considered a fetish. But new generation are leaning towards sexual stuff so it somehow turn into something bizarre. Ppl categories the word fetish the same as kink.
if i'd ever get on suck kind of interviews, i'd blush and sudennly say "keyboards" cuz ngl, building a custom keyboard, to your preferences, its not only worth it, its also a nice experience to have
Interesting to see what japanese and Korean women see as mascular. What these women like in a guy, and what makes a man masculine is almost complete opposite in the western world.
Also great to see that not a Single Women said '' oh i Prefer a good Character, Men that really Care'' its all about Looks, imagine a Men Saying oh i only like this and this, Women would be Pissed
Because the context of the loan word fetish in Japan has the implication of something physically attractive or a turn-on. The question wasn't about dating in general. Also, even if they did, who cares? Women like attractive men and men like attractive women. This isn't news to anyone and doesn't mean it's the only priority, just an important one for most people.
Its not a fetish for japan or asia in general but is for me but i like pubic hair. I still expect armpits and arms etc. To be shaved but if a girl has a lot down there i dont mind. Here its expected that women be totally bald so its not as common as asia where hair is seen as good and most cases is desired. Edit: westerners really giving our education systems a bad rap with not even knowing the definition of a fetish 🤦
Idk why your friends would say your fetish is weird. A lot of women like sharp / masculine chins. If anything I would say that as well as the voice & scent fetish is very common.
I guarantee you that these young ladies are giving the answer the RUclips safe answer, LOL! I lived for there 25 years and change out the word “fetish” for “kink” in private and you will see a whole different world. Even the most prime and proper of my paramours had a button they needed pushed and what made me so appealing was that I push that button and addressed their kink. And while they usually told their friends (has evidence by their friends finding a way to ask me to “help them with English”), I never revealed much to others, unless her kink was that I do so in one way or another. I am not giving away my secrets, but I planted some seeds of greatness in these words and if you are like me, you’ll figure them out. Most men hated me because I was always seen with a beautiful female. Good luck! Please do not ask me for more tips and try not to drag me in the comments as I’m only trying to help.
@ from my experience, to sleep with their friend’s guy or a married or older man. Sounds benign, but they know these guys would want to keep their acts secret from their woman. This gives the other female a sense of freedom to be extra freaky. Also, most of the females I played with chose me specifically because I wasn’t their “type”. Nobody would believe she would switch genre, as it were. Then, after she has these parameters in place, she does things with her “non-type” guy, that she would never do with anyone ever. It is kinda like sleight of hand. Once a guy is known for keeping his mouth shut and willing to play along with the game, they subtly pass around rumor about him. I was literally laying in bed with a female “friend” when she started talking about females she knew that would hook with me at the drop of a hat. She went as far as to tell me what to visit her office and tell her she recommended a come by.
ok, I am happy I have wide shoulders and a trained back i am tall and I have a beard that is small but looks well-kept now only needs some scent and I will have an amazing time on my Japan trip ;)
Huge difference. You ask americans this, and you will be in therapy. What these ladies are talking about are preferences, a fetish is something an individual is not only sexually aroused by, but to them is required to enjoy the act and come to climax with. I know people that have some twisted fetishes. And also dont get fetishes confused with kinks. Not the same. One is a mental and physical feeling of need. The other is just kind of a "nice if it's there" situation but not needed.
As people have suspected, yes fetish means something a little different here. Japan is still a pretty conservative culture, so they may talk about their true fetishes with very close friends but not anyone else.
I agree with what other commentors have said : these seem like preferences rather than fetishes to my Western ears. I think if you stopped people in the street here in Europe and asked them about their fetishes, they would be shocked, as it is a very intimate thing to reveal. For example, a friend of mine has a fetish for outdoor sex. I guess my fetish is a girl wearing open crotch, sheer body stocking. Everyone has some fetish. If you think you don't, get more experience and you will discover it.
These sounds more like preferences instead of fetishes, it all seems basic and practical. They don't have any fantasy fetishes? It comes off as a bit disappointing.

From an American man's perspective, this is kind of sad and close-minded. The traits they are describing as most desirable are more accurately applicable to western men than Japanese men and every "celebrity" they can think of is Japanese. In contrast, if you ask American women the same questions, they will think of a very wide variety of ethnicities in men and this will be reflected in the celebrity names they will mention too, who are likely to be a mix of American and foreign names.
Scent,or more correctly, body odor, is something Japanese often lack. Whether this means pheromones in these interviews isn't clear. However,in Asia generally, sharp acrid scents used in western colognes and soaps are not appreciated.

Jap girls With Big Panties...ohh i Love😅
(Writes in his notebook) "That was educational."
First time that I watch/hear an interviewer calling all her female interviewee "Onee-san" most of the time. I thought "onee-san" is used for family, relative or very close acquaintance.
Loved this ❤
Bet you did
Literally none of these are a fetish... is this entire video a mistranslation? Those are just preferences.
It is a fetish. Just like people can like ass, boobs, feet, etc.
I thought they were gonna talk about crossdressing, bdsm and stuff like that. Imagine my disappointment
X2 😅
@@DaruTempesto El pibe que pone los tiempos en los directos de Aru 👁👁

Japanese are too shy to say that on camera.
Some other Japanese RUclipsr stated that Japanese women tend to be the dominant ones in the relationship.
@@UtopiansDream lol I'm pretty sure you confused ドM - (haa)doM, from "Hard M", it means masochist as opposed toドS, sadist. And its true, nearly every jp girl you're going to ask will say she's either neutral or very submissive in bed
This has nothing to do with "western / eastern society, fetish is different in japan", no it's not, everyone knows what kind of creepy stuff you guys into lol. So this is not even 0.1% idk why they even bother have this discussion, they clearly talking about dating preferences / likes / criteria depending how much they stick to that idea. This is universal language, culturally too. So don't try make it something it's not, because you're too shy to ask about the real thing. Stop changing definition of words. Should've just called it what's your ideal dating type.
1:44 Kpop muscular?😂
I was feeling confident (since I'm aesthetic muscular) until she mentioned k-pop
I went: Oh...I see...so that's what you meant by "muscular" 🥲
3:28 I was thinking shes likes that tight Leonidas or the hipster lumberjack but apparently a "beard" is a five o'clock shadow lol
Strange idea video😮
can I interview you for my comic strip "Women's World"? Because the comic is international and describes the lives of women in different countries.
My idea of fetish is way off the beaten path. Now I have to look up the word because muscles is the last thing I would consider a fetish.
These are more like preferences than fetish. A fetish is something not considered normal.
To everyone confusion, tbh "fetish" that they talking about is the real definition of fetish. Some likes low voice men, some like men with beard, those are originally what we considered a fetish.
But new generation are leaning towards sexual stuff so it somehow turn into something bizarre. Ppl categories the word fetish the same as kink.
if i'd ever get on suck kind of interviews, i'd blush and sudennly say "keyboards"
cuz ngl, building a custom keyboard, to your preferences, its not only worth it, its also a nice experience to have
Interesting to see what japanese and Korean women see as mascular.
Okay incel, in this case, you're one of those offended women. You just so happen to be a man.
I wouldn't be pissed. I'd just laugh about it and move on. Because why would I care what they think when everyone has different tastes.
When you have all of these but still single
Its not a fetish for japan or asia in general but is for me but i like pubic hair. I still expect armpits and arms etc. To be shaved but if a girl has a lot down there i dont mind. Here its expected that women be totally bald so its not as common as asia where hair is seen as good and most cases is desired.
Edit: westerners really giving our education systems a bad rap with not even knowing the definition of a fetish 🤦
他の日本インタービューのチャンネルと違って、ゲストさんはとてもアットホームに見えます。エリーさんのお陰ですね。
Idk why your friends would say your fetish is weird. A lot of women like sharp / masculine chins. If anything I would say that as well as the voice & scent fetish is very common.
square chins or triangular chins
Note to self: wear Vetiver by Guerlain, make everyday shoulder and back day, grow out the beard and keep it trimmed.
I have seen some "Japanese fetish videos" and this is way different! Just saying..... Great video though! ♥
With that blurry parts? 😅
One i saw involved a funnel and a dead squid
@@foreverhungry84 I saw one with a funnel and live squid! 🤣🤣
Fetishes is something like"do a hot date on Helicopter",a Tennis couryard a Train etc..
What are Japanese women's most common kinks
So they like muscles on men? Go figure. THEY ALL DO
I thought I would get some crazy stuff, like chain me to a radiator and stuff.
Bummer
Not really much of fetishes more like just body preferences.
“SUPERB” video Ellie! You are looking great as always - “Miss International Japan!” I hope and pray that you find the man of your dreams with a “sharp chin!”
Explain how it was "superb" in detail mate
You heard it first boys, don’t skip arms or back days 💪🏾
Is there a word in Japanese for the American version of fetishes?
hentai
@0:24 That immediately made the vid unwatchable. People let their "culture" determine their viewpoints and perspectives and identities far too much! I'm not one for being an anti individualistic 3d printed drone myself. We have larger brains and deep sentience for a reason and that is to be individual free thinking and unique beings... intelligent beings are not supposed to behave like programmed AI thank you very much..
You must be albert einstein then you free thinking racist piece of shit
Almost all of them are preferences. A fetish is something typical considered nonsexual to be sexual like an object or a body part that causes arousal
I was expecting a slightly different vid, shame.
Mine's definitely face sitting while she changes my gears. Fortunately, I've always had open minded partners in that regard.
How about an inverted V shape body?
Fetish in English is better translated as "Hentaiseiyoku", whereas the meaning used here is better described as: attraction preference, passion, enthusiasm.
Oh well, at least we all know what Japanese women like now, and apparently its not tentacles. lol
I will do more back exercises from now on.
yeah, I think the definition is different but found the answers interesting.
When i read the comments i had to smile and think of Kronii and Polka when Kronii said "Kintama"
As a former Bass 2 chorister, I like this.
Bro, if I'm hitting the gym to improve my physic, I'm not going for these girls.
You should probably work on your spelling while you’re at it. It’s “physique” not “physic”.
3:13 wow, her eyes!
Can somebody explain what fetish means ?
Here's the Oxford Dictionary of the English Language definition: "a form of sexual desire in which gratification is strongly linked to a particular object or activity or a part of the body other than the sexual organs."
@@patrickwilliams3108 In a simpler way ?
@@oda4766 A person who has a fetish is called a fetishist. A fetishist does not experience sexual desire like most people. Most people focus their sexual desire on the genitals of their partners. Fetishists focus their sexual desires on objects (like feet) or activities (like causing or receiving pain).
"Because I'm tall"
"How tall are you?"
"170cm"
What?
From an American man's perspective, this is kind of sad and close-minded. The traits they are describing as most desirable are more accurately applicable to western men than Japanese men and every "celebrity" they can think of is Japanese. In contrast, if you ask American women the same questions, they will think of a very wide variety of ethnicities in men and this will be reflected in the celebrity names they will mention too, who are likely to be a mix of American and foreign names.
This is so interesting.
The girl interviewing is gorgeous 😍
That Woman who likes beards is absolutely stunning.
Man, you ain't lyin'! 😍
Scent,or more correctly, body odor, is something Japanese often lack. Whether this means pheromones in these interviews isn't clear. However,in Asia generally, sharp acrid scents used in western colognes and soaps are not appreciated.
...so there's still a chance...
You heard it boys, time to work on that V taper💪
Hell yeah! I’m getting a bike this week and starting my training/nutrition regime for my trip to Japan in August 💪🏾
One particular fethish I have discovered since living in japan, in the more american sense of the word anyway, is ear licking. I was surprised the first time I learned first-hand, and it seemed consistant- giving and wanting.
I guess ot depends on the person, but my ex gf said her was netorare and and roleplay
