Noice. Love the grappling (as it should be): 90% of forms for any martial art is grappling. Thx for showing us the way!
Yes, I agree. At least 90%.
I'm looking forward to next year's seminar in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. It will be an honour to learn from both of you. 🙏
Looking forward to it Phil.
Very interesting!
Glad you think so!
Great!
Thanks.
The last step against wrist grab is the most important to me. One can lift him to the toes into the arm cradle done a little bit different. Do you know the shorin ryu pinan sandan ? Bet Miyagi did. To me, they come obviously from the same basic kata. Both counter the grappling of karate in the first two kata of their style. So we only really understand the sunbird elbow, if we understand our own basic tuite.
Sensei, baraki means? Thank you.
"Bakari' means "nothing but". So in this context it refers to a type of class that we run from time to time; no calisthenics, no drills, no solo kata practice, only application practices.
@@GKCgoju Thank you for the prompt reply and an excellent video. Have a good day.
