Depends on water levels, and if they were recently dropped. Getting in requires High Clearance 4x4 in most situations...but once youre down to where the water was, or could be it can get soft or muddy.
I took my "new to me" aluminum boat there for her maiden voyage after resurrecting it from a 20 year sitting in a friend's backyard. Those afternoon winds were really strong and that answered why I was the only one on a boat that afternoon.
Rush Creek is Reverse Creek between silver and Grant... It can be very good if you find the right homes, usually means walking along Creek bed. Rush out of Grant is very good in the fall for fish 6"-20"
@@TroutWest Been fishing June Lake Loop for 25 years spending most of my time on Rush Creek and Silver Lake and have never heard anyone(including locals) refer to the portion of the creek between Silver and Grant as Reverse Creek.
Depends on temps.. but the higher lakes will be further along in the "Fall bite" Lately Bridgeport area has been going strong. Rock Creek Lake hasn't been receiving a lot of fish but could be a good bet on some hold overs.. I guess it depends on how far you want to drive. My bet would be on Bridgeport or June Lake loop
Urban Outdoorsman thanks once again. Usually I go about four times a year. Sadly this will be my only trip this year for the sierras. Thanks and keep them like vids coming!
Nice info, what about the part like a "canal" or wide river between the inlets and lake?
Thanks for the info. How bad is the road on the opposite side of the late?

I've been fishing this year for over 25 years... Put a lot of time on the water up there so I know what's worthwhile what's not
