here is how to fix it.
Your need firmware for the radio
xiegu.eu/downloads/
A micro SD card
And a program to write the image to the micro SD card.

I was trying to use the bluetooth and the black screen happened to me.
I tried using a Bluetooth keyboard it happened to me as well maybe a Bluetooth issue . Did you manage to fix it??
@@2j4ez after the firmware update to unbrick it, I fixed it by not trying the bluetooth again
jes i have Try'd the fix but still not got it boot
monitd will start eventually the applicaton. It's not "fixing" but updating your X6100. Also push power again will have it live.
Update to the latest version.
If you buy the radio with the most up to date software 1.1.5 can you save this software to a sd card without touching a computer so if it needs flashed it's already on the sd card
No your need to use a computer to flash the firmware on to the card there’s no way to download it to the sd card from the radio as far as I’m aware

@@Massey_Fferguson are you local? I’m in Hertfordshire England if you teamviewer installed on your pc I could flash it from your pc I would take control of your computer once done your have the firmware installed

Think I've managed to save update to sd card fingers crossed I don't need to flash it

I had my X6100 for 2 days. Worked fine until today. I have the black screen. My problem is my PC (a laptop, i7) has no SD card reader. I guess I now have to purchase an external SD card reader. Oh well.
Do you have a digital camera pf camcorda with a SD card socket or any device with a SD card socket? if so just use that
@@2j4ez No. I see I can purchase an SD card reader via a USB stick combo. I think Best Buy has one.
