Hope Vs Hopium or Is Global Warming Accelerating

In this video I comment on the recent research paper "Global Warming Acceleration: Hope vs Hopium" by James Hansen, Makiko Sato, Pushker Kharecha that was post on the internet on March 29, 2024. In this paper Hansen et al. show that the rate of global warming has accelerated significantly in the past 15 or so years. They attribute at least some of this increased warming to decreased particlulate emissions from ocean-going ships. They also not that current global climate models do not adequately account for climate forcing by particulate emission. However, I note that changes in particulate emission do not account for all of the increased rate of global warming that the earth has experienced in the last 15 years.
