I love this show. By the end you realize the genius trait is hereditary Hal and Lois just decided parenthood was more important.
Everyone was weirdly smart on their own way. It’s just that how they applied it to their interests.
@@dragonxlove we can't get Reese that much credit. Dewey locked him in a crate for a week.
@@ExperienceBasement Reese still makes good food though.
@@ExperienceBasement Reese is a genius cook, Dewey is a musical prodigy, Francis is a genius tactician and natural leader, and Malcolm is a genius with actual book smarts. There's also clues to the fact that Hal and Lois are also incredibly smart but in different ways. Lois seems to be be more like a combination of Francis and Malcom given her ability to keep the family in line while constantly being able to outsmart Malcolm and Hal is like a mix of Reese and Dewey due to the fact that he seems to be able to grasp and even master new hobbies and talents overnight such as DDR or painting.
Dewey is also a master magician
Outsmarting the smart
A great example that observation and wisdom will always have the upper hand over just being smart.
Both of those things is what makes you smart
He was to busy correcting he forgot why he was even talking
Easy fix "isn't that the one where...?" "Lady idfk, I haven't read it"
Out of character, he is a smartsy pants and a kid
She knew he couldn't resist and flex his knowledge lol
Malcolm has a serious case of thinking he is always the smartest guy in the room. It's probably his biggest weakness.
You think his mom would let him live after saying “I don’t fucking know” he will need his own funeral if he did that
The power of gaslighting😂
That’s not what gaslighting is
Yeah I don't think gaslighting is what you think it means.
Being caught not telling the truth is not gaslighting, its when somebody brainwashes you and convinces you to think in a 'certain way' that you wouldn't had done without conditioning over a long period of time.
For example many people who are in a physically abusive relationship when confronted about it will often blame themselves, because they were also mentally abused to never question authority, that is gaslighting.
Another example would be if somebody told you 2+2 is 5 or any other number other than 4, you know the answer is 4 because you understand what truth is and you correct them, but what you get in return is insults, emotional abuse, shaming (often publically) and constant beratement for questioning that person who has established themselves as the figure of authority. Eventually, for the sake of self preservation you give in and believe in the lie against all better judgment. That is gaslighting.
It was the best of times, it was the worst of time. Do like Dickens. Bleak House is very instructive on life, the legal system, and expectations!
dont you mean blurst
I'd have gotten tripped up even if it was the truth lol
Lois the real OG!!
He was going fine and keeping it straight 😂
Okay, now that is some clever writing😂
What i love about this show is that it isnt fake. Like they show the brothees be mean to one another, they show lois be an actual mom, when the boys need to be hit, they get hit,
I’ve watched this several times waiting in anticipation of ep 3😂 Who knew watching four guys be total horndogs would be so entertaining!
Lois is good!!😂😂😂
Stupid funeral😂
Best argument!
It's clear Malcolm gets his genius from Lois.
You leave Tiny Christopher Macdonald alone!
This is the only show i have ever watched in its entirety and i was so lost when i was done watching it. I refuse to watc another show fully. I have seen a few but i never watch the last episode now.
Seems more like intentional information overload to confuse than outsmarting
No. She was saying things that were wrong because she knew Malcolm wouldn’t be able to stop himself from correcting her, therefore proving he had in fact read the book.
@endymion3071 but as he said he didnt write it yet, reading it Was immaterial
@@wingedfish1175 “I just remembered I have a big book report due tomorrow and I haven’t even started reading it!” Are the first lines of the clip.
@@wingedfish1175 He literally said he both did and didn't read throughout the 20 second conversation. It is not that hard.
It seemed pretty consistent, he was saying a bunch of stuff about Les Miserables
Is that the voice actor for Aang?
I'd get confused too if someone kept switching things up on me like that, doesn't matter what the truth is.
She didn’t, she was clarifying what he said. He mixed himself up in his own web of lies 😂
Don’t flex your intelligence if it means losing your goal in the long run
I still cannot believe that he doesn’t even remember recording like any of these episodes… He said so many concussions he doesn’t even remember actually being onset and doing these shows it’s so crazy!
Actually he lied about that because he got sick of being asked questions about specific scenes of the hundreds of episodes he made. He doesn’t remember shooting them anymore than you remember filling out a specific piece of paperwork 5 years ago, but people didn’t like that explanation so he came up with the concussion thing
I think this is common for child actors. Mary Kate and Ashley have said the same thing.
@@Sb_747I was going to say there's no way he'd be a pro racer right now if he had so much brain trauma 😂
I'm not trying to crap on TBIs either, just stating someone with brain damage to the extent described would never be able to professionally drive race cars.
He suffered a stroke when he was 26.
You ask me a million questions, no you interrogate me with a million questions, id get tongue tied too.
This testimony cant be admissible in court
I love how you split the screen because it was a popular shorts format 2 years ago... Smh
What is this show called?
Malcolm in the middle, I think
@@lillyburns144correct
What show is this?
Malcolm in the Middle.
@@RileyRad333 thank you 😊
It’s so crazy that he doesn’t remember any of this
😢
That’s just not true. Do some research
Malcolm in the middle is a nightmare show from channel cloud extra.
why does he sound like aang
She didn't outsmart shit, shes a grown adult AND his mother.
She knows her son.
Also its not that hard to see through a 12 year old's deceptions, especially when youve been raising him the whole time 😂
I found it painfully boring as a young man.
I need to give it another chance now im a bit older.
Oh yes !
I will never understand forcing kids to go to funerals
Because that's what families do. It'd be petty crappy to make mom and dad go by themselves. That's selfish.
@@Kaboomboo its a kid?? mom and dad are grown adults. Them going alone is the kid being selfish but then forcing the kid to go isn't selfish??
being family has nothing to do with it
Hard disagree. Nobody forces them to go to funerals, who do you expect to watch the children? Most of the time, everyone that could is also attending! Most funeral homes have places for children to get away from the death and despair too.
Death comes for us all and does not discriminate based on age. All kids typically lose someone to death and struggle with thw concept of mortality and funerals are a great place for them to learn healthy ways to grieve and start going forward without their loved one. This mindset shelters them and causes more harm in the end than an end of life celebration ever will.
@@SteviiLove You do force them to go if they don't wanna go..Like thats literally what happened on the video. You don't need to force a kid to go to a funeral to teach them about death, mourning.
Forcing your kids into anything that doesn't have any actual benefit to them does more harm than good. There's objectively no reason why they need to be at the funeral if they don't want to. Not only that kids can actually be more disruptive than anything especially when they didnt wanna go. Its a different thing if they do wanna go, but that's their choice, the same way adults also have the choice to attend a funeral or not. Funerals can be so draining both mentally and physically putting that onto a child that does *not* want to be there is just awful. You wanna teach them abt death? and mourning? then do. Why do they need to be forced into a funeral to learn abt that? Especially abt people they do not care about or even actually knew you're just surrounding them with mourning and can even make them feel guilty or confused abt why they're not as sad as everyone else.
It's ok to only go to the funerals you actually want to go, and its extremely important to learn how to not feel forced or guilty for not wanting or not going to someone's funeral. People should have their own boundaries and understand what is helpful when it comes to mourning for them personally, and not yalls ideas of what should be normal and forced onto people. Learning to create healthy boundaries when it comes to how you deal with your feelings and with mourning is what's important for kids to learn.
The only reason you should go to a funeral you don't particularly care about is to support your loved ones that did, which should never fall onto a kid to support them so why would u force them anywyas?
Like how awful of a parent can you be that you cant teach them abt death and mourning without taking them into a funeral? Especially when kids can experience grieving so much differently than adults??
@@saram404 Has everything to do with it. Since when do children call the shots? If the parents are going to the funeral for a relative, then the kids go as well because that was their relative too. Kids go where the parents go. They don't get to call the shots. This seems to go over the heads of bad children apologists. When a kid screws up, it's because of the parents. If the kids do or don't want X or Y, then the parents should accommodate. Parents should let kids do whatever they want because they should have full autonomy (which contradicts the first point). That's just the way of it. Kids are kids and they are under the authority and watch of the parents. If parents attend, the whole family does. They don't get to call the shots.
When America was America
Literally
your conception of america simply shattered. the change from then to now isn't as dramatic as what you think
America has always been America, ask the laundry list of brown countries that we've destabilized and exploited
Wait till this guy realizes there's minorities in this show
america famously originally white yeah?
Who tajes children to a funeral? That is weird and unnecessary.
It’s weird to think taking children to funerals is weird.
George costanza might be the only one to get away with a lie against Lois
