- My favourite 20 TARDIS Exteriors In Garry's Mod. The Chameleon Circuit feature has allowed for upwards of 100 unique exterior skins for the Gmod TARDIS and I show my personal top 20 TARDIS exteriors. If you don't know what a TARDIS exterior is, it's the outside of the TARDIS which for The Doctor is a 1963 Blue British Police Public Call Box (Police Telephone Box). The chameleon circuit lets you change the exterior to blend in with the surrounding environment or to just mess around. For instance you can use the Toyota exterior on the 2023+ TARDIS or even a tree exterior from The Timeless Children series 12 story. Some of my favourites include: Half Life 2 exteriors like the Lab Server, TT Capsules like the Type 40 or the SIDRAT and a lot of different Police Boxes like the 15th Doctor's and the TV Movie one. There's also some unexpected ones like the Lego Dimensions Doctor Who Lego TARDIS exteriors and the door from series 5's The Lodger which is the exterior to the Silence Ship. Another seemingly random exterior is the default (2010 - 2017 TARDIS) from the 60th anniversary update.

Doctor Who is a British science-fiction television programme broadcast by the BBC since 1963. The programme shows the adventures of a Time Lord called The Doctor, an humanoid alien. The Doctor explores the whoniverse in a time-travelling space ship called the TARDIS. The Doctor’s TARDIS exterior is a blue British police box, which was common in Britain on November 23 1963 when the series first aired. With various companions, the most popular of which being Sarah-Jane Smith, Rose Tyler, Amy Pond, Donna Noble and Clara Oswold (The Impossible Girl) the Doctor combats foes to help people in need.

The fourteenth series of the British Sci-Fi show Doctor Who started premiering on 11 May 2024, through to 22 June. It will be the fifth series led by Russell T Davies as head writer and the first since his return to the show, having previously worked on it from the start of New Who in 2005 to 2010. This new era is commonly known as RTD2 and is funded by Disney+, shot by Bad Wolf Studios and BBC Wales and is called Season One. Season 1 was announced with Davies' return to the programme for its 60th anniversary in November 2023.
The series stars Ncuti Gatwa as the 15th Doctor, a new incarnation of the Doctor, an alien Time Lord with a TARDIS, which appears to be a British telephone box from the outside. The Fifteenth Doctor was introduced in "The Giggle" (2023) through a bigeneration, in which he split from his predecessor, the Fourteenth Doctor (David Tennant), rather than replacing him. The series also introduces Millie Gibson as the Doctor's new companion, Ruby Sunday. She was first featured in The Church on Ruby Road with her mum Carla Sunday and her Grandmother Cherry Sunday.
The new series of Dr Who started with “Space Babies” and “The Devil’s Chord” (with Jinkx Monsoon’s Maestro) both airing together at Midnight on BBC iPlayer. “Boom!” is the third episode of Season One written by the writer of episodes like Blink, The Doctor Dances/The Empty Child and also the Eleventh Doctor’s and Twelfth Doctor’s eras, Steven Moffat. The fourth episode is called “73 Yards” and is said to be RTD’s best Dr.Who episode and even better than Torchwood’s Children of Earth. The fifth episode is called “Dot and Bubble”. The sixth episode is the regency episode and is called “Rogue”. The seventh episode is called "The Legend of Ruby Sunday" and is the first part to the series ending, the second part and eighth episode is called “Empire of Death”. The recently announced 2024 Christmas Special is the last Steven Moffat episode after series 14 and will be called “Joy to the World”.
Susan Twist is a returning character first in WBY and seen in every episode except The Giggle. In The Church on Ruby Road, Miss Flood, as played by Anita Dobson, is a mysterious character who broke the fourth wall at the end of the Xmas Special when Ruby Sunday first entered the TARDIS with the Fifthteenth Doctor Ncuti Gatwa. She is said to appear in season 2 / series 15 and is rumoured to be a renegade Timelord such as The Rani, The Master or even The Monk.

Can confirm the mud and dirt skin on the retexture is hay and straw on the box from day of the doctor , when you see it in the scene with 10 and Liz getting married

im shocked how many of mine made the list! im really glad people can get enjoyment out of these
a few fun facts:
the "inverted" skin for the edge of time tardis is actually a texture taken from the quest/psvr only dlc for the edge of time, it was used for the interior door for the 10th doctors tardis (which is its own extension to go along with it!) and i thought i'd include it just cus like why not lol
the white skin on the edge of time tardis is actually colourable! its set up in a way where you can use the colour tool and make it any colour you'd like without it looking weird, so you can essentially make a custom with it!
the reason the cushing box doesn't have an inward door option is just because it never did that in the film, the only reason thats an option for the metropolitan box is because people i knew said the only reason they didn't use it was because the doors opened outwards
oh also, the hl2 door one is like that because its intended to blend in with the half life 2 environments specifically, the lodger door wouldn't fit well in half life 2 even though i do agree it looks better
im really glad you like the ones i worked on though!! getting to see people have fun with them is always amazing to see

Yeah it is quite similar actually, it could be a reference to that to be fair, thanks for reminding me of that I completely forgot that existed lol
Sidenote; TT capsules are known to have a concrete texture, meaning that pretty much every TT capsule exterior there is (even ones in official BBC art) are innacurate.

I honestly like the defult stuff the most and that mainly is because I like a more dusty blue but clean TARDIS
Yeah ever since the new default released I have found myself using it a lot more, it's basically a less laggy version of the Toyota and I used to use that all the time so it makes sense
The Edge of Time was pretty cool, not gonna lie. VR and Doctor Who actually go pretty well together.

The only thing I don't like about the exteriors is that with a custom one, the doors on the inside don't change, like if i use the tree exterior, the interior doors are still a police box. That's why whenever I have a custom one, I just use the classic doors.
Yeah I briefly mention that at some point in the video but yeah it's a decent downside but there's not really anyway to avoid it so I very much doubt it will ever change

I can't think of a reason that should happen I would just make sure u have all the required addons it asks for on their respective pages
Have there been any updates on the 14th/15th Doctor TARDIS?
Quite a few! It's all done except for the controls on the console, the vortex and the damaged interior (which isn't really a big deal) so I will do my full review on it once that's all added which will hopefully be in the next month or so

How do you always have labels of what the controls are on the console?
You have to go into the spawn menu (by pressing F5 or holding Q) and on the top right go to "Options". Then in the "TARDIS" section in the new list below go to "Misc" and tick "Tips" and "Always show all tips"
