I always thought the jellybean succulents were delicate, didn't realize they are frost tolerant. I'm in Tassie so we get plenty of frosts! So bummed I can't buy from your store, you have a fabulous range of plants. I don't care what day Tip Tuesday gets posted, I always enjoy your videos Mick 😀

Hi Gill, yes we have found the green and the blue jelly jean varieties to be the toughest, the pink does struggle a bit and needs more protection. We have had a lot of requests whether we can supply Tassie, WA and NT. It's something we have had on our minds for awhile.
Thank you as well :) Yes, sometimes we have things come up that postpone the Tip Tuesday a day or so, but we are glad that we can share our experiences with everyone :D Thank you also so much for following us :D

Hi Karen, so glad to hear how tough they actually are. Unfortunately where we are, we don't get snow on our property to test Semp's, but they do handle a good frost :) Thanks for following us all the way from New Jersey :D

Could you please do a video on how to tell the difference between some of the similar looking plants? For example, the second succulent in the video which was in the tray, and the one that looks like it in the pot - what are the identifiable differences between the plants?

Hi Renae, yeah sure. The most important thing I would also recommend is making sure that it's labelled haha, that's the easiest way to start with identification. But we can do a video :D

I’m in living in a weird part of sw Sydney on the plain that gets actual frosts during winter, and scorching succulent burning dry heat and sun the rest of the time 🙃
. I miss the central west weather… I’m moving back! Haha
In all seriousness thank you these tips are already helping out, I actually had frost cloth ready just didn’t know how to go about using it!
