    You don't talk about soil mix/preference. Regular potting soil with lots of perlite? Akadama+ cactus soil + perlite? Water when dry or just top 1.5" dry? Is it best to use a shallow bowl or does itn't matter? Do their roots grow deep or shallow?

    Do you have info on the Cotyledon orbiculata 'ping-pong' ? I can't seem to find much about them. Is the care and propagation similar to the 'Bear Paw' ? I've had some good success with Bear Paw.

    How do you keep mealy bugs off of so many succulents?

    • @mickssucculents
      @mickssucculents 7 дней назад

      Hi, mealy bug can be a big problem if you have a heavy infestation. I would treat it with isopropyl alcohol and a cue tip or a small spray bottle. If it's a large amount, then you may have to use a systemic insecticide. Just make sure the plants aren't in flower when you treat them. You could also use a predatory insect on them if you didn't want to use a chemical. I hope that helps.

    • @mickssucculents
      @mickssucculents 6 месяцев назад

      @soji-yeunmochi-con1162 that's ok. Most nursery/garden centres should have a Succulent and Cacti potting mix. If you can't, then try using washed river sand and gravel will work. If you can add some sort of compost to the sand and gravel, that would be ideal 🙂👍

    Can you please suggest shade cloth for 30-35 °C (86-95 °F) Summers? Based on your video I am thinking of 50% white as I need it for outdoor succulents (mainly Sedums, Echeverias, Crassulas and Pachyphytums) without a greenhouse. Spring is only 20-25 °C (68-77 °F), do I need a different one for Spring or do I need any?
