  • We're experiencing a real winter in Montana this year. Over a foot of snow on the ground before the end of November and it just keeps piling up. This isn't a review, but rather snow removal "porn", if you will. Just some GoPro footage of the action. The majority of the footage is at 8x actual speed to keep the video length reasonable. Actual clearing speed is only 2 MPH or so.
Lots more to come as winter progresses, I'm sure. Part Two coming soon.

I have a 44" Bercomac hooked onto the front of a 1973 Bradford PowerTrac Garden tractor 16HP Kohler with front PTO and man that little blower can move the snow. Love your set up here, and like mine, yours has no problems either on getting rid of snow. Great video. New sub to your channel.

Thanks for the sub and the nice comments. Sounds like you have a great setup as well.

A tip to take care of your blower. Lift it up when backing you did it only on the side of yoyr garage. In grawer it wil dig dowv like . But great equipment and video!

I always raise it before backing up early in the season to avoid digging into the gravel. As the season progresses and a solid snow pack is formed, I raise the skid shoes and don't bother raising the blower while backing up. It no longer digs in and it saves wear on the synthetic winch rope. Over the years I've snapped a few due to the constant up/down on a short section of the rope. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Have you had any problems where it connects back by the hitch receiver? I've seen videos that it brakes back there and people have to reweld it often.

What is the HP on that Honda motor ? Nice rig.

The Honda is 22 HP. A 25 HP Kohler is also available, or was at the time.

No problems with burning up the belt on the commander?

This Bercomac is a UTV model, not an ATV model. I'm pushing it with a Defender. No belt issues.

I had a red Honda that I sold 5 years ago when I purchased the Bercomac. You can search the channel for a couple of videos on that. I now have an Ariens that came with my current house, but it is orange not red. If that is what you are referring to, I have no videos using that machine and have no plans on posting any.

Gotta say these older machines were built to last before companys were filled with greed to make more money.

Walking backwards accomplishes absolutely nothing and is wasted time. Try turning around and blowing a second row. Save yourself time, energy and you'll get done in fifty percent of the time.

The blower is attached to a UTV. I'm not walking behind it. The overall length is 16', so simply turning around is not always an option.
