I love this not only because it's fuckin badass, but also because it's one of the few times the Slayer actually shows his humanity, because you can see him take a second to re-orient himself upon landing.
The fact that the slayer DOES take damage, but still does not die says so much about how fucking badass he is.
Yup, I was kinda shocked when he lost his balance.

I remember seeing that canon from the distance and saying "imagine if doomguy decides to shoot himself, that would be ridiculous" welp, i have no words xD.

The most impressive thing about this is that not only did the Slayer survive (he knew he would and so did we) but that he landed ON HIS FEET. He stumbled a little, but where anyone else's toes would have been through their own skull, it's just like he hopped off a small ledge and he's ready to go.
Bruh, Anyone else would be Ctrl+Alt+Deleted and be completely vaporized before they even touch the barrel
I found Marks lack of faith in the Slayer disturbing especially when he should know the Slayer doesn't die to anything or anyone and he should have known that fact a long time before that

Found out that, When the scene is showing at the Inside Ship, there's a demon With zombie walking animating and after Doom comes in he instantly goes from zombie mode to human walking mode lmao.

I mean I understand what you’re saying but this is basically Doomguy’s first launch from any types of weapon without portals Kratos shot himself towards Hermès I guess after he cut through cronos’ stomach he launched onto cronos’ arm, gaia thrusted him in water Poseidon’s chest... basically what I’m saying is Kratos has had more launches/falls than Doomguy has (story mode wise)

i love this game so much grew up playing the original doom and and zelda ocarina of time but i seriously got excited when this came i played the game on nightmare so fun i love a real challenge in a video game im 35 now and never going to stop playing games im sure ill still be playing games in my 70's
