Hey Mercedes, I'm cold. - Ok, setting temperature to 25 degrees.
Hey Dacia, I'm cold. - Me too.
😅😅
🤣🤣🤣
one really true story with MBUX voice commands (originally happened in Czech language):
- Hey Mercedes, I'm hungry.
- Mercedes: That's fantastic! (and then silence, done,...)
Ha ha, that sounds like what happens at home!
Really enjoying these infotainment reviews, it's a significant component of the vehicle, worthy of attention.
Thanks, David! We have a playlist with a stack more of them and are filling them gradually as new systems roll out.
What a wonderful service 👏👏👏so good . Only Mercedes.
We agree!!
Love 💓 it Paul.
I just use the touchscreen keyboard for address entry, or voice commands; much quicker than messing around writing out letters. You can actually do some neat stuff with the voice commands. The one I probably use most is simply "take me home", which does what you'd expect. You can also say things like "I want to stop off at the supermarket on the way" and it'll search for a supermarket on route and add it as a stop. I suspect that it would be quicker for finding a radio station as well, but I haven't tried that.
I do wish that you could permanently turn off some of the safety features. The lane departure system is pretty annoying, and the auto-braking system beeps at you a lot.
That’s really cool - love hearing feedback from people that actually use this stuff
Great video
Thanks! Appreciate it.
Does it give you access to play store allowing you to download other apps, like youtube or Netflix??
Does the ME app works faster than the BMW in sending the commands from the app to the vehicle? Also I've experienced the touch screen and the touch pad myself and didn't enjoy the UI at all compared to the far more superior rotary control in the BMW (although the graphics are great here) but I didn't get to try the controls on the left side of the steering wheels which supposedly also used to control the main infotainment, did you get to test it out?
Yep it’s much quicker. I’m not sure why there’s such a speed difference between the two apps! But I do love the 360 degree view feature in the BMW app. The controls on the left are more for basic functions and don’t do a great deal of deep diving into the menus from memory.
This infotainment system makes mazda new one look like cardboard
😅
Appreciate these Paul.
One request though with the infotainment reviews, could you do a quick mention of whether the system supports Apple Carplay and Android Auto, or whether it just supports one (hi, BMW).
When you were testing the new A-Class, did you have any issues with reflections making the screens hard to see? The fact that they're not under a cowl stands out a bit.
Hey Kevin - we mentioned this in the review. We also call it out in each review 😁
Nice vidio how do you purchase apps on mbux system
Do you know when the Mercedes Me 2020 app lands in Oz? Appears to be a much improved app based on some UK reviews.
I think we may have it now, Kevin! What changes did you see with the 2020 app over the one in the video?
CarExpert there is a Mercedes Sales guy (Nick O’Leary) in the UK who did a vid on Mercedes Me 2020 and said that it worked much better than the original, particularly with the time taken to activate a command. For instance it could take 30 seconds to a few minutes for the car to react to a command. He said that the new app does it instantly.

One of the craziest entry level interiors
Also can you do a45 vs a45s?
I think only the A45 S is available in Australia
It definitely is! Will try and get our hands on an old one.
@@CarExpertAus cheers would be great
@@unintentionallyfire yea maybe someone can then then borrow some persons
Can you command your mercedes to play any song you want?
That one is around 400hp, smoth clutch and stability conrol. Couldn't see the boot hatch, do seats drop for extra space?
This is a review of the infotainment system. You can watch our review of the A45 S here: ruclips.net/video/tif_LaaFleo/видео.html
Missed out the display in front of the driver!!
Can we expect any drag races soon???????
We have another fun one coming soon!
Free car give away!!!?
Silly they don’t have scan readio stations
You reviewed everything apart from how the sound system sounds. My 2019 c63 sounds like trash.
These are just infotainment reviews. They're intended to cover all vehicles with MBUX, but if you'd like to hear what we thought about the sound system you can check out our review of the A45 S where we cover that a little more: ruclips.net/video/tif_LaaFleo/видео.html
That's called infotainment system unlike stupid tablet glued on dashboard. Indeed later one is cheap for manufacturer but not at all classy and shouldn't be there in a car which cost 40 to 50k.
I think Tesla is leading on Infotainment
They're definitely doing a great job at it!
