- In this Tech Help Tutorial, we will review the NEW Mercedes MBUX Infotainment System (2020) with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This is seen in most new Mercedes-Benz products, including the 2020 Mercedes GLC, GLE, C-class, A-class, CLA, GLS et.al. We will be looking at the Mercedes app suite, Remote start, WiFi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Integrated Navigation, Voice Commands, "Hey Mercedes" and much more.

If you deactivate parking sensors i think it will stop. Sometimes it’s pretty annoying

Nicely presented! The command system was very dated, and desperately needed an update to remain competitive. This appears to be a significant improvement. I hope they also addressed the inconsistent performance of the ME application, which historically has been very frustrating to use.

Do all GLC300 come with XM radio, my wife just purchased one but no esn for XM or does she have to buy another module for the XM
I have a 2019 C300 Coupe, traded in a 2015 C300 Sedan. I have to be honest, I will use Apple CarPlay 99% of the time. I also heard from a good friend, who is a mechanic that works on high end cars (Aston Martin, Mercedes, Porsche...) that the car manufacturers are starting to move away from their proprietary systems. It costs them a lot of money and after a year or two they are obsolete.
Just bought a 2020 C Class and mine has the same screen, but its not a touchscreen. Am I missing something??
I have a new Mercedes with MBUX and have purchased the additional navigation app which shows local fuel prices. On the map it shows the Fuel Stations but the prices are cascaded as the station has multiple fueling options. Do you or anyone else know how to only show one fuel price? for example in the UK I want to only show Unleaded primings wo when diving if I glance at the screen I can see the local unleaded prices only so I can make my choice on where to fuel the car? Im not able to find this this the car options or find a video to help. I know someone else who has this feature turened to this setting but we cannot work out how he has this and I don't on mine? Thanks

Hi , I have Mercedes C300 wagon 2020 (Canada) but the mbux doesn’t have the option hey Mercedes
My screen turned black and won’t go on when I start the car, I can still hear it when I use the pad. Is there any solution for this or is my screen broken?
I wish they didn't do away with the rotary dial. I think it's much quicker to roll right and left than to swipe with the limited swiping space.
what is that two tone beep that occurs randomly at the beginning of your video? Its coming from the MBUX unit. Do you know what it means?

Nice tutorial. I learned a lot. I use the voice command for the radio, temperature, fan speed, seat heating, weather and of course navigation. Greetings from Sweden. 😀👍
*Only recently discovered after having one for almost a year, you can say "Hey Mercedes My Bum is Cold" {this is true, MBUX users try it - but you can say what song is
playing with a USB Flash Card} and Mrs Mercedes will reply "You are listening to **_Alfie Boe, A Nightingale sang in Berkeley Square_** Hi Mercedes Play next track, OK I am playing Michael Ball singing 'Tulips from Amsterdam' [if you have named that track as such, he is actually singing I Dreamed a Dream from Sunset Boulevard] but it makes passengers ROFL, you can also ask what's the Weather Forecast on Tuesday next week in 'Santa Monica' it will give you a daily report, with highs & lows, or if not stated will be aware of your exact location and give details for that. Also will detect if you are Petrol or Diesel and give you fuel Prices in area. Many other tricks as well - truly amazing.*

What a cheat, at 12:20 it asks Hey Mercedez to close the Sun roof, and that time, it shows a different car (you can make out from the infotainment screen) and not the GLC which most of the video is created on. Because in GLC, this feature doesnt work.
The GLC didn't have the network connectivity setup so we did voice commands in a different Mercedes

Yes it is crazy that they didn't make Android and Apple carplay Full screen.

The GLC has the worst version of MBUX of all the MBUX cars. No seat kinetics, no ability to adjust the left side of the instrument gauge cluster, no ability to adjust the seats using the profiles, and no full screen instrument cluster navigation. The worst part though and where it significantly loses out to BMW is the implementation of Carplay, whereas BMW has full widescreen wireless carplay, all MBUX Mercedes have a condensed version that is worse than the widescreen version seen in prior COMAND cars.
also you can not open the sunroof or the shade since its not hardwired.
Well actually you have to pay for android auto in the bmw
He literally had full a full screen map in the instrument cluster here. What are you talking about?
