Step around the Blacksnake A-10 with demonstration pilot Maj. Lindsay "MAD" Johnson as she explains her preflight inspection of the jet. Hydraulic reservoirs filled? Panels tight? Control surfaces moving free? Don't want the rudders and elevators to impinge on each other at full deflection.
Major Johnson showed us how she does it. And later she flew the A-10 in a rousing demonstration at Fairchild Air Force Base in June 2024, the last season for the A-10 demonstration team which she heads.
