I’m on the reset page and I am connected to wireless Internet and when I tried to click on reset it says not available for this Computer do you know how to fix
I'm sorry, I am not completely sure what could have caused this error. I would recommend reaching out to Dell technical support, they are usually pretty helpful: www.dell.com/support/incidents-online/en-us/ContactUs/Dynamic?spestate?ref=contactus
I believe the length of the reset depends on how much of the hard drive is currently occupied (the more it is, likely, the longer it will take). I think it might take at least a few hours, if I remember correctly.
Sorry, I'm not completely sure what would cause the pc to get stuck on that screen, I would recommend reaching out to Dell Technical Support as they would likely know the answer (www.dell.com/support/incidents-online/en-us/ContactUs/Dynamic?spestate?ref=contactus).
Dear Sir, Thank you for your knowledgeable video. My Question is... If I do this process.... have all the installed softwares like MS office, VLC Player, Winrar, Adobe Reader Extra extra gone Except Windows 10? I kindly request you to help me on this issue as early as possible... Because My Dell Laptop gets Very Slow while booting, opening of application, Shutting the laptop down Extra Extra? It would be great helpful for me....... Kind regards, Basavaraj, From India.
Hi Basavaraj, Thanks for your kind words. I'm extremely sorry for responding so late; I was not signed into this account for the past few months as I recently started university this September. Yes, this process should remove all those applications; doing the Dell OS Recovery should bring the laptop back to state it was in when Dell sold it (so in theory, it should have Windows 10, the default preinstalled Windows 10 apps, and any software that Dell has preinstalled on their retail computers/pcs) Sorry again, Mith
I believe most of them should be reinstalled (as I think this reset is supposed to bring the laptop back to the state it was in after Dell set it up initially), but I think I may have lost some of the apps like the Dell Cinema app.

Nice video.
Hello! During the reset, do we have to plug in the usb drive? I mean, can we do all the progress without using an usb drive or not?

How long does it take to load into the support assist recovery os?

What if we dont back up the laptop
Hello there! Does it deletes the other volumes of the hard drive?
I believe if the hard drive is partitioned into different volumes (e.g D:, E: etc.), it will only delete the data from the selection partition.
@@mithstechchannel4273 Did it successfully! However the Dell Recovery tool fixed my boot! Nothing had to be done! Thanks for the info!
I get "we are unable to detect any disks tbat can be utilized for a cloud restore" message 😢

If you are referring to the recovery tool, I believe this link should work: www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/osiso/wt64a
