If you’ve already done this then I apologize, but you should make a video on how to get into the Classics (as in Greek and Roman) for beginners! I’ve only ever studied the classics briefly in high school and I’ve really wanted to get into them but it’s so intimidating!!

She has a video on that, or at least very close to it. You'll find it on her channel

I think march was the first month that I finally picked up a book again without feeling forced to. I read The picture of Dorian Gray and The strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde ... so I don’t regret.
Love your videos! Wish you all the best ❤️

Oh my... the first paragraph of On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous was astounding. I must try to get my hands on that book soon! I always love your eloquent and thought provoking wrap ups. ♥

I honestly, truly love your videos. I started watching them a couple of weeks ago, and I really can't stop. I so much love the way you describe every book, it really shows how much you love reading books! I really now want to read Lovely War and On earth we're briefly gorgeous! Thank you so much for your content! Also, I love you a little bit more because you like Greek mythology and..I am a Greek gurl, so whatever you need to know about our culture, you can tell me!!

I have “Call Me by Your Name” on my Libby shelf and every time I try to pick it up, I can’t seem to get into it. I can hopefully start it in April. I loved The Symposium! I read it for a course on friendship while in undergrad. It was so interesting!

I’ve heard the best way to read it is as an audiobook, it’s narrated by army hammer from the movie it’s on RUclips for free at the minute.

I haven’t read CMBYN, but the movie was so so good! The chemistry between Elio and Oliver was really really amazing :) I would definitely recommend watching the film

Dragon Pearl seems like a good book. I have heard a few people talk about it and they all really liked it. Lovely War is another one I have been wanting to pick up. It is outside of my norm but it just seems so interesting. I bought Blood Heir a while back but still have not read it, I need to pick it up soon.

I think I would like to read Neverewhere. I enjoy magical realism.
Goodreads says it’s book 1 in a series so may be the questions get answered in the sequel.

That’s what I’m thinking :) unfortunately though there’s only a short 40 page book accompanying it! Gaiman hasn’t published any sequels or even prequels yet 😭

I was able to read 3 middle grades last month as well. Yeah, they all had some sort of trigger warnings, but I still enjoyed them regardless. Check out Ashleigh from A Frolic Through Fiction, she reads and owns a lot of mythology and folklore from so many countries.

I can't wait to try the books on Rick Riordan presents publishing ^^ I love his books and it made me happy he's able to bring to light like minded story tellers, especially when they focus on other culture's mythology!

for me Call Me By Your Name is one of those rare books whose movie adaptation is better than the book. i had similar gripes with it as you. it left me so underwhelmed in the Feelings Department and i also didn't see the chemistry between Elio and Oliver in the book.

I’ve never been so early Edit: I lovee the myth of 19:28. Since I’ve first read it, I kept thinking about it and how it seems almost believable. Especially because *I do think* every human has another half or a soulmate or whatever. Edit 2: My TBR originally had around 200 books on it. Then I “met” you, and now it’s up to 400...
