    Nice results. The car is realtively light according to the nowdays standards. That is why the acceleration on the speeds below 130 km/h are better than I expected. It could be even better if the gearbox was shorter: it almost gets 100 km/h on the second gear and for 1/4 mile only 3 gears of 6 were used.

      Agreed with pretty much everything. It also grips pretty well from standstill, wheelspin is not much of a problem. But then again, the power level isn't that big and with FWD cars i always perform 0-100 and 1/4 mile at the end so that the tires are a bit warmer.

    Is there a big difference compared with 2.5 Skyactiv X?

    • @AcceleratingCars
      @AcceleratingCars  20 дней назад +1

      @@dragospahontu i haven't tested a 2.5 Skyactiv X, but Skyactiv G (in the Mazda 6 sedan). I have tested 2 Skyactiv X models of Maxda CX30, but that was a 2L engine with 150 and 186hp. For these 2 versions, the 186hp variant was somewhat faster, but not impressive. I personally would never go for the 150hp.

    Cum ti se pare ca viteza masina? O consideri suficienta pentru niste depasiri okay pentru romania?
    Am inteles ca g122 e lenesa rau

      Salut! Mersi pentru comentariu. Despre performanta masinii ce sa zic... Este ok/buna, atata timp cat nu ai pretentii de sportivitate (ca viteza/acceleratie, deoarece ca manevrabilitate este destul de agila). Intrucat consider varianta asta de 150 cp doar ok/satisfacatoare, cred ca cea de 122 cp ar fi, totusi, cam prea slaba.

      @Bizyze i have mazda 3 hatch with 150ps, believe me, its as fast as Audi A4 150ps, maybe even faster. You won't need more power and speed for all normal driving situations, and at times a bit of fun.

      Daca e sa ne uitam la timpi relevanti, 80 - 120, cam aici faci depasirile pe DN-uri si 100-150 autostrada, nu sta chiar atat de rau, poti merge pe Skyactiv X, este un pic mai fasneata.

    Pacat ca nu e varianta E-skyactiv-X de 186 cai, chiar sunt curios ce performante ar scoate aceea.

    How much RPM at 110 and 130 kmh at 6. gear ?

    • @AcceleratingCars
      @AcceleratingCars  5 месяцев назад

      Honestly i did not test for this. What is clear from rewatching the video is that the car is in 4th gear @ 4.5k rpm at 140 km/h and what i think is 5th gear @ 2k rpm doing 100 km/h. I'm sure that if you search for the gear ratios online you might be able to work out the values for 6th gear.

      my 3 G122 manual is at 2.300 rpm at 110, 2.700 rpm at 130.
      automatic should have slightly shorter gears, so probably a little bit higher rpms

      It may be. Your car is probably a bit lighter than this one and maybe you were on summer tires?

    • @ampm9771
      @ampm9771 5 месяцев назад

      @AcceleratingCars Hatch amd Sedan both have identical weight. I tested it on all season tyres, but it isn't any slower than on summer tyres. Actually, hatch is around 30kg heavier.

    • @AcceleratingCars
      @AcceleratingCars  5 месяцев назад

      @@ampm9771 Why would a hatch be heavier than a sedan? And i was thinking that your model could be lighter than the one i tested because cars with automatics are usually 30-50 kg heavier than the same model but with manual.

    • @ampm9771
      @ampm9771 5 месяцев назад

      @AcceleratingCars It is heavier, because the chassis at the rear is much larger and stiffer. Just look how much more metal is used in c-pillar also the hatch is much heavier than Sedan's boot. You can also check the data sheet from Mazda. It says it is 30-40kg heavier.
      But you are right, AT box is approx. 30kg heavier. But like for like, hatch is heavier.
