Thanks for the video. I have a Larrivee OM-40 that came with an Element. I want to upgrade to the Anthem. Maybe a dumb question but do you know if the under saddle pickup of the Anthem is the same wire or thickness as the Element? I’m assuming so since it’s described as the Element but just hoping to avoid trimming the saddle and doing this install myself if possible since it’s already drilled and fitted for Element otherwise.
It's hard to say. If it does it's a very small amount. This was done for a customer of mine so I didn't get much time to listen to the tone first before installing. If you're worried about it, just make sure you put the wire clips next to braces so they are fixed to a spot on the top or back that already doesn't move (resonate) very much.
I recently bought a new Larivee 000 with this system already installed. Test played for quite a long time before plugging it in and fell in love with it. Plugged in to a Fishman loudbox and was just as happy.
Quick tip to save you time and hassle ... after removing old end pin ..(or drilling it out if no jack was previously installed) take a stiff wire a few inches long , bend the tip at a 90° angle. Put that in the hole and let it hook on the inside of the tail block, mark it where it comes out of the body... You now know how deep to set the inside nut on your new end pin so that it's the right dept when you pull it through... No more .. Install , pull it, check it , reinstall... because its tight the first time ...

It’s been a while but I do believe the under saddle pickup is the exact same in both.
Where did you get that snake cable? I need that!
Hi, friend! thanks for the video! do you think the anthem (this full version) affects the unpplugged/acoustic sound? Thank you!

Love that! Thank you!
what if u have a split saddle?
You can definitely use the mic pickup but won't be able to use the under saddle pickup.
