  • From Los Angeles, USA to Tokyo, Japan, then Singapore in search of snakes. Found a few cool snakes and met up with friends across the globe, does it get any better??!!

    Cool video. Pity nothing in Narita but around 7 in Singapore. In the UK we only really have the Adder and it’s venomous and tends to bite dogs that go sniffing about in undergrowth or in sand dunes. Great combination of Narita and Singapore with cool editing.

    I love airplanes, i love 747s, but I sort of hate snakes as they come in my dreams to bite me. Nonetheless, your videos combining airplane operations and snakes are really fun to watch. Hope the channel grows among avid airplane, 747 and snake enthusiasts! Blue skies, and happy landings!

    Fantastic. I love traveling in Japan but hotels seem so much bigger in Singapore. I highly recommend a trip to Vietnam, my wife's home country, in search of serpents. I have seen a few cobras and kraits there

    New to the channel. Captain what plane do you pilot? Assuming 747 by your name but who knows.(My lifelong dream that never came to be, but back in the day when I would have prepared for a career, next to coming out of the military no way a civilian trained would ever pilot a large jet. My how times have changed. Now there are 24 y/o sitting in the first officer seat, long gone are the days of mandatory military careers). Also a snake fan.

      @@loub747 glad receiving your news, I live in Spain , I envy you so much about your job, I only fly Cessna 150 and 172, but enyoy mayself and about snake near my home have the elaphe scalaris and malpolon monpelier ,in Europe the malpolon is the largest about 2'400 m. every 3 months I go to Bangkok, my wife is Thay. but Now with the probleme coron. no go till Next Decembre, I use Emiretes and Etihap Airlines. A greeting.

    I think that I would be wearing shoes or boots while out exploring for snakes! In flipping those metal tins and rocks over ... I would be using a large stick! You never know what will be under those tins! :-)

      Yeah, I definitely take advantage of my situation! Covid has been slowing things down, but I feel lucky to have a job right now. Hoping for more Hong Kong and Singapore overnights in the future.

      @@loub747 I used to go to concert's and Wolves games at the All State arena all the time when you lived up there. Now I'm in coastal GA enjoying no snow, shark fishing, and a lot more snakes! I can finally own copperheads which I have 2.

    beautiful.. in many ways, I wish I was still a snake hunter (commercial) in Louisiana and NM in my early 20's.. I envy you in the old world, I did most of what I wanted to do in the new (long story).. HMU if you come down to San Diego sometime, I have a few spots, might be able to get you on a couple

    Singapore never lets down. As for Japan, it seems you're going to have a real challenge this season. This is exactly like my flipping goes this year. In April I visited my most snakest place for 3 times and got completely nothing.

      @@loub747 thanks for the answer. LouB I farm and ranch near Buffalo South Dakota I counted 27 jets today sure I missed some. I have see 9 in sky from my ranch at one time. Lost 17 yearling cattle from that End of Dec blizzard. It seams like. Our weather patterns are dryer wetter winder hotter colder. I'm out here middle of kinda no we're my record count was 57 jets in one day! Just maybe see the way it looks to me!

      Not sure where you live. Boards don't work everywhere. Spring is best, followed by fall. Set them over crack and or holes to get them active quicker.

    12 hour flight LA -> Tokyo, fruitless search, fly -> Singapore -> sleep 4 hours -> 2 red bulls -> couple hour snake expedition, then you fly again? How do you even know what day it is, much less what time? I get that this is your life and profession, but for a normal person I'd be all kinds of screwed up for week with that schedule!
