Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've spent 30 years trying to find a good foundation match, but relying on department store specialists left me looking pink or yellow. I finally gave up and have been using tinted moisturizers. I didn't realize until a few years ago that my undertone is olive, which made it even more difficult to determine the right shade. Thank you for all these tools and recommendations. I am excited to find a new foundation!
I am so happy to discover your channel!!! Wow!!! You are just so amazing! I learned sm from you!!! I hope you’re also gonna make for bronzers and contours! Ty!
Thank you so much for being here!! And that's such a great idea! I will add the bronzers and contours to my to-do videos. 😊 And thanks for your very kind words. So happy it is helpful! ❤
Very nice video! Thanks for breaking it down for us newbies 😄 I wanted to ask what skincare you used at 10:28 because your skin looks very beautiful and glowing but I have dry skin not oily so your products might not be what I need sadly :')
Also, may I ask which color/undertone is your LYS foundation? The texture looks beautiful on you. The website is confusing for color matches...I have light olive undertone as well, I have never been able to find a perfect match for my skin. :-P
I wear LN3 in the LYS foundation. It's described as a neutral undertone on the website, but I find that it's not too saturated and has the tiniest hint of olive, so it works beautifully for me. I agree-it's so hard to find foundation matches for light olive undertones! I hope this helps. ❤
@@michellelondyn Thank you for responding to me, Michelle. I tried the next shade darker neutral tone which is LN6, but it's too pink on me. I'm not giving a go to the LG6 which I believe has more golden, let's see if that will work better. It would be nice if this works out given that I really like the texture and the price! :)
For many years I would get matched incorrectly. Most “beauty advisors” would recommend cool toned foundation even though it always looked glowing pink, because warm looks very obviously orange yellow. Neutral matched well enough but didn’t blend into my skin very well. On a whim I added some green correction fluid to my best match (but not quite right foundation) and for the first time I actually felt like it matched me completely. Long story short it turns out that I’m a cool olive.

@@MsCoralyang You're welcome! It is a great price point and texture. I hope the LG6 works for you!
Whats your shade foundation you're wearing ??
Help. I was always given Neutral in the third level shades from the lightest. But on my face always looks too orange. What's wrong?
Thanks in advance
Example: beauty advisor recommended 2.5 Neutral Dior Forever Concealer, or Beige 30 Neutral Chanel le teint velvet
