Cool watch! ISO divers are not required to have dates. The last thing a diver needs to worry about is the date. Seiko is rapidly moving out of my price range.😨
I've got the SPB297 (save the ocean 62Mas, bracelet) and love it. Beautiful dial, nice bezel (mine lines up perfectly) solid movement, super serviceable, just the right amount of polished and mostly brushed To get the same quality from a swiss brand you pay twice as much. Earlier 62 mas watches the QC wasn't there. I think it's there now.
I have the MM200 release from this line. Threw an orange “crafter blue” curved strap on it with black pvd metal tangs and it looks 10 times better. That stock Seiko rubber strap isn’t curved too thin looking has a gap between the case and strap and the watch case tends to weigh it down having it consistently look crooked on the wrist. The material Seiko nato is too bulky and long. Crafter blue makes this watch look like a luxury time piece. Huge improvement. Also got from exquisite along with all my limited Seikos. Great experience.
As with my SKX007J1, it's sitting in my box and I'll hardly ever wear it. I flung the fabric strap on my SSC761J1 which suits that watch perfectly. It's an awesome piece. A treasure.
I'll say it again. The fact that Seiko can make a practical and useful orange lume glow as well as it does makes them lume masters.. as if their other blue and green lumbrite colors ever disappointed. Most recently I've had an orange lume on a Zodiac SSW. Cool and noticeable for like the first 10 minutes or so when freshly charged. Then the color and intensity fades and dims rather rapidly.
Seiko keeps coming up with their marketing gimmick - "Limited Edition" & 'Special Edition' watches. After all, they all look so similar except for the dial colors and case shapes.
It's because limited editions and special editions are collector pieces. If it's not your cup of tea, I guess I could give you a dollar so you could to a local pay-booth and call someones that cares about your opinion.
The only thing Limited at Seiko is their dam quality control because they simply don't give a f#%k. I've already sent this model back to them because both the bezel and the chapter ring were misaligned. It's the third time I've had the same issues with Seiko watches so I just call them Sucko now.
This one is a killer watch! Love that colorway and lume! I think this is my favorite Seiko diver out now. Including GS.

I love date, without it it’s a no deal for me
they are cause when they find the dead they might see approx what date it was
i have to agree with you about the price...i collect sporturas and they are shooting for the moon ...
@@wellnesportstore9519 lovely
Very nice piece!
Nice watch. I have the JDM Seiko Sea Grapes turtle and it reminds me a lot of this watch.
ninja watch, i want one sooo nice
thanks for sharing.

That would look killer on an olive drab zulu strap !!

The whole watch is great, but that lume is just something else.🔥

Pretty cool murdered out seiko.
Man this is a cool watch
Muito bonito.

A Limited Edition!? What a breath of fresh air!
Willard was never supposed to be this small.
really nice.. though probably prefer plain steel but it is very nice. Please keep the date.
Any idea where we can get those types of straps?!
Thank you for another great review!
These are Seichu NATO straps from Seiko. You can get these at Seiko authorized dealers or from ebay. They retail for around $150-$200.
I have this and it is a great colour way and stonking lume
Not sure how long the black coating will last, and I find the strap a bit fiddly
Great looking watch. 62 mas is awesome and really has something for many preferences.
Love this watch.... question is, can I save enough pennies before they're all gone!
I’m not a black case guy either but this is actually solid all around
Great looking watch, I don't think the date function is an ISO requirement.

What’s the size of spring bar ?
It's a traditional Japanese weave.
Thanks
Same as some of the other seiko divers, the 3 o'clock lume at that outer position is extremely awful.
Bezel lines up must be fake
I think the nato/fabric strap is just too thick and obtrusive.
Unfortunately,apparently accuracy is garbage 😞
