    I like the watch and the handset is really cool. 20 Bar of water resistance is surprising for this piece. Reasonably priced too and I'd buy one today if I knew what hemisphere I was in.

      I'm sure an App can help with the hemisphere.... And I can help you order the watch ;)

    Ok ok, a sub from me. Even though the seiko I dream of is limited to 200 pieces and will not be available to me. Your video of it will be watched often by me. It was your video when you became a Seiko Grand Seiko dealer.
    Edit: I always wear my Seiko ‘BFK”. Black dial. Why? It is incredibly sturdy (the watch has been boiled, spun on a dril, went through was and dry cycles and much more on the forums. And it looks beautiful. Also rather affordable.

    I chopped my Prospex LX 043 rubber band as well. It was absurdly long and I sometimes use with a wetsuit and it's still absurdly way too long for that purpose as well. How many 9 inch wrists in 10mm wetsuits are there? Anyway, I used a coin to get a perfect half circle when cutting and then some fine sandpaper to soften edges and even out. Got it looking halfway stock again. Try that Chris!

      Thank you! The coin is a great idea actually, I will give that a try!

    I really love the Alpinist look, but I don’t think the cool modern tactical look meshes very well with the traditional looking cathedral handset in this case. I really dig that dial texture though.
    Do you think we’ll get any other colour ways in the same case as the SLA065 by the way?

    • @Littletreasury
      @Littletreasury  Год назад

      Do you mean the case with the zaratsu finish? I do have an SLA043 in stock (contact info in the description if you want to call and chat)

      @@Littletreasury Sorry, I meant in the more modern style of the SLA065 - I do like the SLA043 but I’ve got a year or two before I have enough money for a nice Seiko. Just bought an MM300 this year so need to recover some funds!

    Rolex Air King. My first mechanical watch and went with it because I prefer brushed stainless look and no date complication and of course the fact that I’ll never lose a penny on it if I sell it.

    Very unclear u explain the compass. So S in northern atmosphere, does it mean s is pointed South? Or now North? Lol. 😅.

    I wouldn't pay that much for a watch with that lack of accuracy rating. Plus 25 secs a day! No thanks.

    • @Littletreasury
      @Littletreasury  Год назад

      Hi, to clarify it is -15 to +25 a day, so it will fall somewhere in that range. Pretty good for something mechanical under 1k actually.

      @@Littletreasury Well, this doesn't have to be a long debate. I say, simply, that inexpensive ETA and Solita movements can have almost chronometer accuracy. An edge to edge variation of 40 seconds per day suggests that a better movement should be this maker's first priority. It's a pretty watch, but if it's not accurate (and by definition this one is likely not to be) it's all looks and no substance. There are better choices at 1,000 £ $ €.
