First of all...
I'm not a mechanic, just an enthusiastic hobbyist who loves
disassemble and reassemble cars/bikes.
I did this engine "maintenance" for one of my friends.
I tried to do my best. I hope you like it.
Sorry for the mess in my garage. I have only 2-3 hours for my
hobby per week beside my family, daily job and don’t have time
to tidy it up every time when I go there.
If you have any comments, feel free to write them, but please be kind.
The disparaging comments are totally useless and a waste of time

Honestly if the friend is paying you to do this refresh might as well upgrade the weaks parts and add necessary upgrades. Baffled oil pan, aftermarket crank dampener, light weight water pump wheel, upgraded oil pump, coolant reroute.
NAS remained and I put it in a well-maintained NA. It works flawlessly since then. Currently I'm working on a Non-VVT engine, but it will be turbo, so it will get these upgrades of course.

Where did you get the seal setting tools from? I've been looking for a set but haven't found anything
