Around 2021 while I was still playing the AP Urgot was such a hidden gem. Riftmaker + Nashor's Tooth + Ruined King + Rageblade + Deadman's Plate + Force of Nature Mixed damage, decent defenses, great sustain, the highest possible DPS for Urgot, and completely unexpected so enemies make build mistakes.
Suggestion: Color code the google sheet with the difficulty tiers! And while you're at it, paste the other images with info you created so it's all in one place :) great video as always
Well the spread sheet is only recording animations rather than full on matchups, I'm just telling you how to buffer the abilities and how they work functionally, unless you mean how hard it is to buffer the abilities? That'd work nicely, so I'll keep that in the back of my mind and yeah having the info in one place would be neat, ty for the suggesitons
@@Urpog1I mean the twitter post with the difficulty tiers you already made (Olaf is unplayable, etc..). You could, for example, just color code their names, but you could also just paste the image for now since it does take time to update the sheet. And after that it occured to me you could just put everything in the sheet! That way there's a great resource with everything urgod!
I see what you're saying, I think eventually I'll be making the ultimate matchup spreadsheet regardless, whenever I do sponsors or whatever I offer that if we hit 60 downloads then I'd release it, so I guess it's more of a waiting game to see if we hit that download number, the last two I've done were 31 and 25, so we're half way there.
Been maining Urgot for a few years. After watching this I realized I didnt know shit about Urgot. Thanks for the guide bro. Would love an updated item list for current season
Great video, and good to find you among so many videos on RUclips. I am a main Urgot player from Brazil, Emerald elo, and some of the info you shared gave me some new ideas to deal with old problems. I appreciate it. Will look for some more videos, to see if I find matchup full video.s As for the counters list, I am sorry to say, because you are certainly much better player than me, but some of the characters I feel the opposite, for instance, I rarely lose for Renektons, but Chogats usually get too much pressure early and Urgot lacks damage... I guess it is about the opponent's skills and also the runes you run.
If you're struggling with something specifically feel free to reach out to me on Twitch and I'll give you my best quick tl;dr on them, Cho is all about early lane domination and rushing into Swifty boots so he can never land an ability on you, if you're struggling against Cho you're probably letting him walk up to the minion wave unpunished and etc
What is missing in your opinion? I didn't go into enough detail about E-flash which I'd address when I eventually make the much more lengthy guide but I feel like I touched on majority of the bases
@@ZenMecha i'm not sure where it'd best be posted because it's not like i can edit content into the video or whatever + i'd have to validify your info anyway, it's important videos don't gt bogged down with information overload too so i like the length overall imo, perhaps makinga mobafire guide would be for the best
What a great guide! At 2:10 I was already impressed. And overall the amount of information this video gives in 20 minutes is amazing! I don't even usually play Urgot. But when I get him in Aram next time, I try to remember this!
In one of skill capped recent videos thay recomended rushing youmuu's into bc then sterak's . Would you ever recomend a build path like this as you get an early serrated dirk and youmuu's passive early on or is it just not worth it to delay the bc?
I would avoid Skillcapped like the plague if I were you, they're notorious amongst higher MMR players because they're known for just making stuff up, sometimes they're right, sometimes they see a random Ezreal in KR Masters, slap a "BROKEN KR BUILD" onto a thumbnail and ship it, even though he was just trolling while ahead lol, that build path is fine but super niche and situational, watch my patch rundown to figure out when x is best and etc; ruclips.net/video/n5CUGb0V-Vk/видео.html&t

Right now on urgot, I take resolve tree as the secondary and I take conditioning and overgrowth, are those runes not good or not good anymore ? I’m afraid if I switch to inspiration secondary I’ll sacrifice tankiness
resolve secondary is absolutely fine but the problem with it is that it plays to neutralise, i'm a player who plays to win, so i use the advantages i get from inspiration tree (mostly cosmic insight) to give me a niche, urgot atm is fundamentally understood by the enemy lane opponent, so it throws them off when they're getting e-flashed 30s earlier than they're playing around ordinarily
How does toggle interact when fighting in an enemy minion wave? Will W continue to focus the enemy champ or start attacking minions after i turn it off and on
marking an enemy with an ability lasts 5 seconds so you'll have 5 seconds after a q or e or r connect for your w to focus on the target, after 5 it'll lose targeting and then focus on closet enemy target again
Great video, even as an Urgot main already there's plenty of useful information. One qualm, you dont really show how to use E + Flash, newer players tend to mess that interaction up.
Hi Urpog, this video is very informative. However, it doesn't help me out as much as i would prefer. Most things you discussed were done so with the idea thay we would already know how to play league. I myself do not. I suck and i embrace it right now. Urgot is fun however i would like to ask if you have a total beginner's guide for him. I mean like you know nothing about league in general besides get kills, buy items, destroy towers, win. Yes i know more than just that but i still do nlt understand basic terms of league. This hurts me when attempting to play Urgot and understanding the basics will help me and other new players a ton. If you do happen to have a video, could you please link it? If so thank you. If not, that is ok.
I am very bad at teaching people how to play League, I am better at building on already established foundations as I have a bare minimum expectation of what people know or don't know which obviously doesn't apply to brand new players and etc, so unfortunately I don't
@@Urpog1 Thanks! Also, I saw u dont go Titanic, I remember a long time ago it was really good. What change? And how I decide between JakSho and Virtue? In my mind JakSho should be better, but Virtue is sooo cheap im really tempted xd
Titanic hydra is just like training wheels for Urgot, always has been, it's just the items perception has been tied in with Urgot's identity for a very long time, I made a vid talking about it here; ruclips.net/video/sKYp0iOHEr0/видео.html Radiant is better than Jak if you're playing with less gold economy and you aren't playing for yourself, eg. your adc is 10/0 and you can just peel them to win, Jaksho plays for you as an individual, radiant plays for the team
@@Urpog1 Great, thank u very much. I havent played Urgot in about 3-4 years and I want to get back into it, so this all really comes in handy. Last and most important question. The best urgot skin?
One is laning phase considered, one is map orientated and out of lane considered, Swain fairs better in a teamfight environment better than Urgot does but Swain in the early game is very weak which is why Urgot is advantaged while laning against him, once Swain can drain from multiple enemies and sustain then he becomes more of a problem for Urgot to deal with
rly rumble is added to unplayable? whenever i run into a rumble I just wait for them to press q, then I cancel it with e and delete them huh, guess they just bad
After seeing the whole thing all I can say is that I pray a lot.
