I have had 2 out of body experiences and I can tell you now, without any doubt, I was DEFINITELY outside of my body and was able to view and see things from a different vantage point. Anyone who think I am talking rubbish has no idea what I went through and what I experienced. My other experiences are purely lucid dream experiences, but again, I can tell you without any doubt that I experienced another reality that was just as real as this. So I ask you..what is REALITY? Is it this reality? Or others.? I certainly do not accept that we exist in one reality. I think our mind is able to tap into many different levels of consciousness.
I’ve had quite a few as well, and after a while of trying to “rationally” and materialistically explain it away I had to accept that the only intuitively comfortable explanation (for me) is that it’s real in some as of yet undiscovered way. And after reading and hearing other out-of-body stories, the universality of it is another compelling argument for its reality. Whether it’s real or not though, it’s so cool. Never fails to fascinate me.
Thinking out loud here: These days people often say we need some political revolution or another (usually related the ethical shackles borne of capitalism). I point out that all previous violent revolutions have simply led to a new group of people or ideology gaining control leaving us with yet another hierarchical system. It seems that not only does power corrupt, but more power in fewer hands corrupts nonlinearly. Thus, the only effective revolution would be a revolution of consciousness. It's difficult to explain what that means or how it could be achieved. Tart's view at the end of this clip is exactly what I'm talking about. I think we've long demonstrated that morality cannot be legislated and, particularly in cultures rooted in protestant individualism, preaching or teaching is just as ineffective. As infants we are (in general) used to having our needs met without even using words. This develops in us a very strong ego and sense of individual self. So, as toddlers we're met with the unexpected notion that not everything we desire is a need and will be fulfilled. As we develop as children we learn through socialization that there are other egos, but it seems to take a very long time to deeply understand that all of those egos are equally valid and important. So, it seems to me that maturation is simply the ongoing dissolution of ego-or at least the dissolution of the importance of any one particular ego over others. In contrast, and do correct me if I'm wrong here, it seems that the adolescent stage of development has become longer since the industrial revolution and the shift from a four-tier class system. And, the same again since the computer revolution and again since the Internet revolution. In recent years, people in their 30s are more like adolescents than teenagers were in the 19th century. So, technological revolution isn't just ineffective, but counter-effective. However, people who have had (what philosophy of religion calls) mystical experiences, including psychedelic experiences, tend to give people the perspective necessary to understand the limitations of individuated egos and not only the utility of cosmopolitan thinking, but also the peace and joy that come with it. Of course, there is a bit of a catch 22 here, as people who have never confronted their ego (shadow self, personal demons, etc) usually have frightening experiences with regard to psychedelics. Whereas spiritual paths help a person deal with these things before having the mystical experience thus making them safer, but slower and requiring much greater dedication. Any supposed dichotomy often has hidden tertiary options, so perhaps there is a path between the two which is safe, but not slow-and perhaps transpersonal psychology can play a role in this. 🤔
Ah, I nearly forgot, the other thought I had during this: People who claim to only think scientifically and thereby write off any notions of spirituality aren't actually thinking scientifically. A scientist tests a claim. As these things are necessarily subjective (whereas science historically only deals with the apparently objective), then they would also need to test subjectively. That is, if someone had experience X under condition Y, then the skeptic would test for themselves under those same conditions. We usually believe people when they claim to have had experiences to which we can relate, but disbelieve people when their claims are outside of our experience. It strikes me as odd that rather than assume we should attempt to have a similar subjective experience we instead label them as having faulty faculties. "I saw a ghost" is dismissed as hallucination (or similar), but "I saw a rock" isn't. How presumptive and conceited it is to believe that only the things which I myself have already experience are real and there's no point in attempting to have new experiences. With this thinking in the back of my mind I *have* attempted to have extraordinary (mystical) subjective experiences throughout my life and it was initially surprising that some seemed to be true (or at the very least replicable). Certainly there have been many that didn't work or worked but were attributable to the mundane. But, those which did work not only gave me a greater respect for unknown variables, but have unexpectedly improved my life personally. So, I say to fellow skeptics, academics, and logical thinkers, "Peer review is an important step in the scientific method. Give the incredulous an honest attempt before dismissing it as not being compatible with your worldview. Otherwise you're not as scientific as you think you are."
You couldn't be more wrong about political revolutions. You claim every revolution leads to worse outcomes? That's flat out false. In fact they almost always lead to better outcomes longterm. American Civil War helped to end slavery, various revolutions helped to end feudalism and monarchism, etc. The idea that revolutions make things worse is a product of Cold War propaganda. In fact life dramatically improved in Communist states compared to how life was prior to their revolutions.
@@RubelliteFae Science is not a free enterprise that people think it is. Usually a paradigm shift happens when a lot of the old guard dies allowing people wit different view points to rise and answer the new challenges. I am a materialist but I can say this about science that ever since the Big Bang Theory Science has not progressed the past 90 years.
Wrong. Morality can be legislated. The problems only occur due to Man having free will & nature ... to think, believe, say & do whatever he wants with morality, laws, politics, culture, sciences, environment etc. To fully explain all of this ... you must start with the core truths about Man ... who will be doing the explaining. Man is an intelligence ... with a Mind ... free will, NATURE, & consciousness and can think, believe, say & do whatever he wants. A soul or spirit is either fiction from the mind of Man ... or ... real. God is either fiction from the mind of Man ... or ....real. A 6 day Creation & the 7th Day belongs to God is either fiction from the Mind of Man .... or .... real. Any "religious" or "spiritual" belief is either fiction from the Mind of Man ..... or .... real. Transpersonal psychology has evidence of a "spiritual" existence ... but ... the evidence for God, Creation & a soul ... has been known for thousands of years and is simple ... but before and after the science revolution People chose to believe what they want with or without proof. A religion is simply an organized FIRM BELIEF in something or someone responsible for the Universe & Life. You don't have to believe in "the gods." Ideologies are also religions. Again. firm believe with or without evidence. Man is an intelligence ... and will always ... deduce from the World that he lives in that only an intelligence ( like Man) makes rules & laws and anything that has clear purpose & form (Functions). Man knows only an intelligence makes Functions. A Function is a System the PROCESSES inputs into outputs and has clear purpose, form, design, properties ( INFORMATION). All Functions possess & require INFORMATION to exist & to function. And information only comes from the Mind of an intelligence. Everything ... including Man ( an Intelligence) ... is a Function made by an intelligence. Again. An intelligence ... has a Mind ... free will, nature & consciousness and can think & do as he wants. Man is a Natural & Physical INtelligence ..... made by an Unnatural Intelligence. The Mind of an Intelligence ... must include an unnatural & nonphysical Mind ( soul/spirit). The Mind of Man ... is natural (brain) & unnatural (soul). God did make Man in His likeness with a body & soul. Jesus is the Son of God, and confirmed 2000 years ago that the Mind of Man is body & soul ... the nature of Man is the Body ... and the body of Man has been corrupted with the Fall of Man. This is why Jesus had to be born of a virgin( made by God) and not actually be descended from King David with a corrupt body ..... for Man will always freely sin because of Man's body. The Body is the Mind of Man while he lives. The Soul becomes the Mind of Man when the body dies ... with freewill, corrupted nature( as the body is dead), consciousness and memories of everything the body thought & did. Man believes in the "the gods" and a soul/spirit ... because everything is a Function which only an intelligence can make. Again. A belief in a particular god & spiritual existence is either fiction from the Mind of Man .... or .... is real. Either all the religions are wrong ... or ... there is only one that has correctly identified the UNNATURAL intelligence that made a NATURAL intelligence and fully explained why? We have known for thousands of years we have a soul, and were created by God ... bu have free will & a nature to think, believe, say & do whatever we want with .... Functions ... and who makes them.
Well I liked your comment anyway. I definitely think people are currently "programmed" and "conditioned" into interpretting the world and behaving in a rather restricted way. Perhaps one day we might see a "revolutionary idea" transform the world. I was offered power and wealth, but I chose neither. For the power I was offered was not the power to create something truly beautiful and truly precious, but the power to harm and destroy. And the wealth I was offered was only lifeless material for me to posess, but how could my spirit posess such dead things? I battled monsters and demons, until all that was fit and fine and precious was taken from me, and I was left only with the dredge of those demons I could not slay. And I could no longer trust in my strength to control my own mind, and revenge was all that remained of my ambition. I was at war with God. I stood before a children's school plyground, and I saw darkness flow out from me and spread over the field like a black mist. And I thought, should I die, I do not want my soul to be a blight and a disease, but instead something helpful and healing. I understood that somehow, somewhere along the way I must have made a terrible mistake. And I surrendered to God and I surrendered to Christ. In my wretched sufferring, I reached out with my mind to I know not where, for aid, mercy and compassion. And lo, it came, like a spiritual transfusion, an outfliwing of my ragged demons and an influx of clean and healthy petfect spirit. And every fiber of my being felt overwhelming gratitude and gratefulness. I knew I had recieved mercy and grace, and I was healed. And I feared nothing then, for somehow my soul had already secured its safety in Gods embrace, and it would live on stretching far into the distant future, and I had nothing to fear, for nothing could harm me. I felt overwhelming love for humanity, and this feeling was nothing I conjured or created, but it welled up inside me unbidden. But this was all years ago, and this is the closest I have so far come to relating my story. I am still far from perfect. While I know God's will is all that matters, and that my life on earth may no longer matter, still I feel pity for the flesh and its needs and hungers. But I do hope to somehow serve those loving, merciful and compassionate powers that healed me and brought me then to state of grace. And I know that my old hero Christ (and I think, Morningstar) did indeed ascend to heaven, and that He was supremely important and precious to God, as if He were God's very heart and ability for compassion. I know for certain the spirit is real and that God exists much more than we. I have related all this here, I think because I started to want to relate how I sometimes felt that perhaps the world might somehow benefit from reading of my experiences, and then, I thought, lol, how immodest of me to suppose such a thing. And then, I just started writing what I did (there is much more to relate, but well here, I'm afraid I've probably already written "more than enough"). Please forgive my immodesty and impropriety. Cheers and all the very best
The closest I've felt of an "out of body" experience was being in Colorado in 1992, after climbing Pike's peak, and altitude sickness, so I slept in the car on a mountain campground, friend set his tent behind car. I bumped the parking brake off in my sleep (and old 1980 Toyota Tercel would roll without it), and car started rolling backwards, and SOMETHING woke me up, and gave a picture in my mind of the danger, like looking down and seeing the car and tent, and slope and knowing I had to get my foot from the passenger side to the driver side brake pedal ASAP, and I managed to do it, and opened driver door to see red brake lights on friend's tent, inches from the back of the car. So another second and the tent would have been run over. You can say my mind reconstructed this "vision" after the fact, while maybe my unconscious just recognized the danger and forced me to wake up. My OWN explanation was guardian angels might exist and be able to see such perspectives, and gave me the warning and speed needed to get to that pedal. I'm not saying angels exist, and I dislike the idea if angels helped ME, but millions others are killed in injured in avoidable accidents or whatever. So maybe it's all just my imagination, and it was a ONE TIME thing, can't ever be repeated, and I'd never want to "test" the angels if they exist, and demand they help me for an "experiment" just to prove their existence. And if angels don't exist, and it was just a good "right brain" danger monitoring system that saved my direct ancestors 1200x over in the last 100,000 years, we'll, that's great it exists, but again, who wants to test it under life and death! It's not a trick, although perhaps it could be studied experimentally, and maybe we'd find certain circumstances it "activates", like being in a new situation, and I've long noticed sleeping in a strange place, I'm probably more vigilant than safe in my own house and bed.
if I may share some idea about your experience, to my observation seem you are experiencing 'fallen lucid dreaming' about to sleep the other way of 'sleep paralysis' about to wake-up.., maybe your 'ether body' dealing with our kinetics/muscle still active and your conscious is already in 'astral plane', the car movement maybe triggered that 'fallen lucid dream'.. yes the 'astral body' and the 'ether body' is main 'vehicle' to the happening of the 'oobe phenomena', when it happened those of our 'subtle body' is wandering..
*"A common Transpersonal experience is a deep deep feeling that we're all connected"* It's called dissolution of the self and Charles T. Tart did not discover it. Buddhists have been talking about it for thousands of years. Psychedelics can also bring on the effect and there is now a resurgence of scientific trials using such drugs and we are starting to get a better understanding of the neuroscience of such phenomena.
I came here to comment something similar, my experiences with LSD lead to this feeling and improved my mental health. I'm very excited about the future of research in this area.

“We have something in us that wants something more”. Totally agree, I think human beings are somehow wired to find something spiritual to believe in. Atheists and agnostics seem to have a tough time with this because the deep-down need still seems to be there. It seems that for many, this need attaches to institutions or groups or some other external entity to “believe in.” I’m not sure what the ideal path is or if there is even an ideal path. Just an observation.

Speaking of reincarnation ,Yuval Noah Harari is an Israeli public intellectual, historian, and professor who said "Death is only a medical problem." One of the greatest enemies of mankind is death. So instead of fearing death, why don't people face the reality of death and come up with a solution? When a person lives on planet earth, one day something called death takes him/her to the next world. In the past, our relatives, whether near or far, were on this earth, but now they are no longer on earth with us. As humans, we don't want to read or hear this idea about the word "death". But we all face death tomorrow, so helping awareness is the solution. But the reality is that a person should prepare more for the day of his death than for the day of his marriage. Why can't people overcome death with medicine or technology? Is it because we live in a time zone? or modern people have not reached the point where they can overcome death? People want to go beyond living on earth and try to live in space, but for many scientists, they don't want research that is to eliminate death. Why does a person die? What is the solution for those who don't want to face death tomorrow? As a new arrival Technology "Transhumanism "will Humanity find a solution To avoid death?
People die in order for life to move forward. Civilization would never advance if people never died because there would be the same people in charge with the same way of thinking. In order for new ideas and ways of thinking too exists death has to be inevitable. Before creation there is destruction. The old has to past away in order for the new to arise.
@@kos-mos1127 Thank you for showing me an idea I didn't see. Does life not go on without death? If I get a chance as a single cell in my mother's womb, if I had information about the pain of this world at the end there is a death, If given a choice whether to be born as a human being or not. I would not have come into this world. But the problem is not being able to do it. But not only me if people were asked, the same question I asked would have the same idea as me. If a person is given a choice to come to this earth or not? by the way, I learned something from this idea that a person can choose what he wants with his will only when he starts living on earth. Therefore, if there is a life after death for a person who did not have the opportunity to choose in the womb of his mother, it means that he can choose that life or not. because man has the power and authority of will to choose or not to.
I weigh heavy on pro-spiritual-reality bias but logistically assume 65% of the American population is spiritually enlightened overnight what are the implications for possessing a competent military, by which we remain socially relevant on this planet?
The earth could be flat for all anyone knows. There's no way anyone could ever possibly know if it is or isn't. Better not ever get on a boat, just to be safe. You wouldn't want to fall off the edge, if there happens to be one
My personal feeling is the former, since most transpersonal psychology seems to be deeply rooted in the vedantic traditions wich strongly emphasize that we emanate from a single cosmic consciousness (Brahman) with our individual personal consciousness and subsequent identity (Atman) being an illusion.
The clever coyote (greed) is always trying to catch the roadrunner (love). But never does. Because something that is not real (absence of love) can never catch that which is real (love). That coyote is a crazy clown... The roadrunner is the state bird of the Land of Enchantment. The land of magic (love).
The issue of transpersonal psychology, also comes up in psychedelic therapy. The question of a clinician-scientist might be, "do the states reported have an objective basis"? Or as long as it helps the patient, bring about a more peaceful world, result in a greater sense of connection nature, universe, each other, ... it doesn't matter. Ontological questions is not the concern of the clinician. Of course, C. Tart does raise the question of the link to the "objective reality" we know today (e.g. his interest in veridical perception, remote viewing, ESP, ...). Having an objective basis, or at least a link, would give more credence to many of the transformative spiritual experiences. Unfortunately, the evidence, while suggestive, seems marginal.
transpersonal psychotherapy: a truly WHOLISTIC course of therapy, dealing with every aspect of life. Unlike most forms of psychotherapy that concentrate on improving mental health, transpersonal therapy takes a more HOLISTIC approach, addressing mental, physical, social, emotional, creative, dietary, ethical, and intellectual needs. To facilitate healing and growth, transpersonal therapy places great emphasis on honesty, open-mindedness, and self-awareness on the part of the therapist as well as the client. If truth be told, transpersonal psychotherapy is just an academic term for “non-dual spiritual counselling”, which explains why the term was used in a couple of chapters of “F.I.S.H.” The term “yogi”, “priest”, “spiritual master”, or “guru” could easily have been substituted for “psychotherapist”, because the finest psychologists/psychotherapists/counsellors are “yogis” (that is, those members of the Holy Priesthood who’ve reached a level of peace, wisdom and enlightenment sufficiently advanced, that they fully understand human psychology and thus, fully qualified to counsel others in how to liberate themselves from any trace of psychological anguish).
At about the 1 minute mark, he implies a remote viewing explanation for the woman who "read" a 5-digit number that had been placed up on a shelf. If what he says is on the up-and-up, I suggest it was precognition rather than remote viewing, on one condition: That he showed her the number right after she guessed it. I believe there is scientific evidence for retrocausality as demonstrated by the Delayed Choice Quantum Eraser experiment and Dean Radin's precognition experiments. I think remote viewing experiments can be explained by retrocausality if you end up showing the subject "the scene" after the experiment. Their brains are picking up on what they are about to be shown. Precognition, not out of body remote viewing at all. Quantum entanglement of the neurons of our brains with their state in the near future.
i disagree. there are countless studies which show that people have been able to verify things whilst separate from the physical. look up dr sam parnia, dr peter fenwick, dr pim van lommel who have all done studies into OBEs. there was a case of a man who was out of his body in hospital and was in a deep coma and a nurse removed his false teeth. he was able to see this from above and saw the whole thing transpire. he was at that point deeply unconscious and had no vision or awareness. YET he had perfect lucidity from a different vantage point. there are many other cases. AND on top of this, I have had 2 Out of Body Experiences myself and I can tell you now from PERSONAL experience that I was definitely SEPARATE from my body.
The problem is that this is an even more extraordinary explanation and thus requires even more extraordinary evidence. Every single paper I know of has explained quantum erasure experiments through the lens of causality. Causality is the axiomatic basis for all logic, maths, science, and any seriously considered philosophy (as effects preceeding causes would seem like magic and make all of those pursuits useless). Moreover, what we call "the speed of light" is better understood as "the speed of causality" (it's simply that the first thing we reasoned out that occurs at that speed was light-gravitational waves, for example, also travel at this speed). The very reason that the speed of light is the limit of motion is because anything faster than this would mean effects proceed causes (or occur simultaneously). As this speed has been measured with great precision, "macroscopic retrocausality" is very unlikely-assuming observational experiences are reflective of actual reality. Of course, without this premise why bother doing anything ever? However, quantum entanglement does _seem to_ defy causality, so we can't entirely dismiss retrocausality, or even wilder claims like what we call reality actually being a simulation or similar. So sure, you're probably wrong, but that's all the more reason to develop the experiments needed to find out. Any time we have an idea we believe has merit, we should work very hard to try to prove it wrong rather than only collecting supporting evidence. It's possible to prove that something isn't the case (but not the opposite), so the more we fail to do that, the more likely the notion is to match actual reality.
@@kos-mos1127 Thank you for your comment. I am well aware of that view of retrocausality. I think you are aware of Stuart Hameroff's research on microtubiles within nerurons and that they create a shielded environment where quantum effects might persist. For how long, TBD. These quantum effects may influence the input thresholds of neurons, which in turn would determine if they fire or not. Your brain is not a rock. It is a vast structure of biilions of neurons and trillions of connections. It can amplify small voltage fluctuations into thoughts and actual macroscopic movement. So if retrocausality can happen in neurons, it can happen at human scales.
I don't think so. Put it this way, if you really did find somehow could read numbers on a high shelf through some kind of remote viewing or whatever, you would not mention it as just some kind of throw away comment in an interview and then move on. This person would actually have become the centerpiece in a series of double blind studies that would then result in the overturning of much of physics. So no. Sorry. I think he is spitting lies.
@@longcastle4863 Absolutely. Any claimed single experiment success could be repeated. Any experiment that has no statement of repetition is someone trying to sell "belief", not reality.

It's a belief, & some claim anecdotal insight. Whether or not the belief is erroneous; a hoax implies organized deception, which itself seems like a conspiracy theory:)
I would not say reincarnation is a hoax. Fun fact your body is 13.8 billon years old. All the element that make up the human body were formed during the Big Bang Nucleosynthesis phase of the Cosmos. That means that the material that make up the human body has been reincarnated 20 million times. That is long enough for person to forget that they have been reincarnated.
The whole process to reach a higher plane is plain dumb. How does an insect lead a good life to be reincarnated into a higher form ... and who makes the call to go up or down? Christianity is very simple. We're imperfect creatures descended from Adam & Eve ... and will freely sin because we have a corrupt body. God must punish anybody who sins with death (body & soul) because God is just and Adam & Eve were warned. But God so loved His sinful Creation and did not want any to be lost, so sent His only begotten Son to become a perfect Man with a body & soul ... and be the sin sacrifice for any who BELIEVE. God must punish the body & soul of all who sin with death. Jesus took the punishment upon His body & soul ... for those who simple BELIEVE in the life, death & resurrection. Simple. But be warned. God knows your heart. And there are believers who have lost their salvation ... because they had weak faith ... and they gave themselves to Man's ways. BTW. The Function, Intelligence & Mind Category ... prove God did create Man with a body & soul.
Do you believe in some other kind of life after death then?, if you dont mind me asking. I haven´t come across many practitioners of meditation who do not believe in reincarnation.
such a phenomena do exist, but it is useless to study it right now, better to ignore it as if it does not exist and focus on improving and making a real scientific progress especially in physics, everything is governed by science and only science "nothing would come into existence without science, it is the rule" they can call it soul, ghost, spirit, god, .... whatever they like. knowing that some phenomena could really exist does not mean to take them always seriously, because that could only drag you back, there is very limited scientific progress so what could studying such a phenomena lead to ?! not all the cases are real, some cases have mental illness, some others want to abuse the phenomena and attract simple people to gain money, some are real but how to know which is real ! and not possible right now to take the whole phenomena seriously "there is nothing to do" be open-minded and work hard to make scientific progress, that all can humans do right now. in some cases it is necessary to study it, but studying such a phenomena should be limited and not public.

Reality is the sum total of things interacting together.
It's more interesting, but was it a vision in your view or a real life experience? From your experience, are you afraid of death now or not?
I’ve had quite a few as well, and after a while of trying to “rationally” and materialistically explain it away I had to accept that the only intuitively comfortable explanation (for me) is that it’s real in some as of yet undiscovered way. And after reading and hearing other out-of-body stories, the universality of it is another compelling argument for its reality. Whether it’s real or not though, it’s so cool. Never fails to fascinate me.
@@getayalewe1009 from my own experiences,i am now convinced that consciousness expands at the point of death, not the other way round.

Thinking out loud here:
These days people often say we need some political revolution or another (usually related the ethical shackles borne of capitalism).
Ah, I nearly forgot, the other thought I had during this:
People who claim to only think scientifically and thereby write off any notions of spirituality aren't actually thinking scientifically.

It's called dissolution of the self and Charles T. Tart did not discover it. Buddhists have been talking about it for thousands of years. Psychedelics can also bring on the effect and there is now a resurgence of scientific trials using such drugs and we are starting to get a better understanding of the neuroscience of such phenomena.

Man has always known he has a soul and that there is Supernatural entity that made everything.
Man is an intelligence and will always deduce from the World around him ... that only an intelligence ( like Man) makes rules & Laws and anything with clear purpose & for ( Functions) This is why we will always have religions. Either all religions are wrong in who or what they firmly believe ( eg Abiogenesis & evolution) ... or ... there is one & only one religion that has correctly identified the UNNATURAL intelligence that made the NATURAL intelligence ... in His likeness with a body & soul.
The function, intelligence & mind categories ... prove the Universe & Life are functions composed entirely of functions .. made by an intelligence with an UNNATURAL & non-physical mind ( ie spirit or soul).
The Mind of any intelligence will include a spirit or soul.
Man is a physical intelligence ... so the mind of Man is physical (brain) & nonphysical (soul).
Again. Man is an intelligence and therefore will always believe in a soul/spirit ... and ... 'the gods." There is only one religion that has correctly identified .... God.

1:01 - am I hearing right?
Speaking of reincarnation ,Yuval Noah Harari is an Israeli public intellectual, historian, and professor who said
"Death is only a medical problem."
One of the greatest enemies of mankind is death.

Does transpersonal psychology emphasize all people connected to or by something beyond human, or all people connected to one another?
My personal feeling is the former, since most transpersonal psychology seems to be deeply rooted in the vedantic traditions wich strongly emphasize that we emanate from a single cosmic consciousness (Brahman) with our individual personal consciousness and subsequent identity (Atman) being an illusion.
It's more that we are all connected to the universe.

The ideal is not illusory, but the original nature. Because the real is compromised.
Retrocausality happens at the subatomic scale where cause and effect are not well defined. At the human scale retrocausality is not possible.

BTW. The Function, Intelligence & Mind Category ... prove God did create Man with a body & soul.

not all the cases are real, some cases have mental illness, some others want to abuse the phenomena and attract simple people to gain money, some are real but how to know which is real ! and not possible right now to take the whole phenomena seriously "there is nothing to do" be open-minded and work hard to make scientific progress, that all can humans do right now.
in some cases it is necessary to study it, but studying such a phenomena should be limited and not public.
I think we’re all united by the common ideal, but only separated by material representations of differences. This is why I always say each person lives in his own universe of creative representations and Exists in a solitary bubble of his own idea.
Boo. Charles Tart isn't a scientist. Repeating ONE claimed out-of-body story from 1968 reading a number? Where's the repetition? He's full of something.
I don't believe the numbers on the shelf being read
No one does.
@@realitycheck1231 If he really knew someone who could remote view numbers on a high shelf, he wouldn't just mention her in a throw away line in an interview. He would make her the centerpiece of a groundbreaking series of highly controlled double blind studies that would overthrow physics as we know it and win him the Nobel Prize. Yes, he's lying.
I have found the psychologists who talk about ESP in these videos find the most complex ways to say nothing at all.
God did create Man in His likeness ... with a body & soul.
Jesus(Son of God) did state 2000 years ago with the Great Commandment that the Mind of Man ... is body & soul. The Body of Man ... can love or hate ... God.
The Function, Intelligence & Mind Categories ... prove the Universe & Life are Functions, composed entirely of Functions ... and were made by an intelligence with a a MIND that is unnatural & nonphysical (ie Spirit or soul).
The Mind of an Intelligence .... is unnatural & nonphysical ( spirit or soul)
Man is a Natural( Physical) Intelligence .. and has a MIND that is natural (brain) & unnatural (soul).
Man will always believe in a soul/spirit and a supernatural entity that made everything ... because Man is an intelligence ... and will always deduce that only an intelligence ( like Man) makes rules & Laws and anything with clear function & form ( Functions)
A religion is an organized firm belief in something or someone responsible for existence.
Either all of the religions are wrong with what they firmly believe ( eg Abiogenesis & evolution) ... or ... there is one & only one religion that has correctly identified the unnatural intelligence that made a natural intelligence with a body & soul ... and fully explained why?
But... Transpersons are persons! Transpersons are persons! 😂
No but weak wrist shrinks doing man work would be a total mind fuck . And probably comical for the first 2 decades.
I think sometimes even Tart himself doesn't believe what he states.....and I'm not even atheist, just strongly agnostic
@Terre Schill you did not understand me or, more probably i didn't explain myself properly, i am agnostic, therefore i don't exclude anything a priori, it could even be the case that in reality exists the metaphysical realm, i simply like objective proofs of whatever we're talking about, especially when it's about incredible things
@Terre Schill yup
His claim about a person leaving their body and reading a 5 digit number is ridiculous; he provided no detail of this extraordinary claim. The rest of his responses were entirely evasive
Transpersonal Dhogg Dhoo. Oh, the stench!
*False prophet.*
True prophet he is telling people how it is.
@@kos-mos1127
*He's calling people for false spirituality*
*People around the World have been following what he's calling for but they couldn't have a real spiritual life*
What is this? Charlatan day?
But i do hope Tart's right and I'm wrong, of course
transpersonal psychotherapy:
a truly WHOLISTIC course of therapy, dealing with every aspect of life.
