As someone with Crohn’s and diagnosed as a child I can co-sign this story and say doctors never take GI issues seriously. I’m not surprised they kept sending you home. They did that to me for years as a child.

What I'd wish to have heard from you though is encouragement to not put off anything health related because of ones age or health level and to not allow yourself to have symptoms and think "eh, it's 'nothing" I think when you share such a beautifully told story about something that is awful for you to go through, taking the opportunity to educate, advice and/or encourage body/health awareness and giving up the notion that age and health status means anything when it comes to things like cancer. Cancer does not discriminate. Bottom line, don't ignore things that shouldn't be happening to your body and seek medical help immediately. If when getting that medical help they blow you off because you're "fine" or you're "healthy, it's probably nothing" get a 2nd opinion at very least. LISTEN to your body. Best of luck to you.

As I hear your story I can totally relate . I had some health issues in the same general area ( diverticulitis) which I had never heard of until the day I was diagnosed with it. It was 2020 and was going through a lot and when I say a lot I mean … job loss, moving , health issues, and let’s not forget Covid !!!! But as I went through all that I had to seek God more now than ever . As I did that and gave him all my worries and fears he gave me a sense of calmness just like you said he did for you . I've been recently diagnosed, too. I just got my port and will begin my IV chemo soon. Then I'll get the same radiation treatment as you. Then, possible surgery. I'm really praying that my tumor will vanish. I've seen some medical presentations where that happened. I know God can do that. Hi Kalei, I live in South Africa. The sun is always shining here and there is always the risk of developing skin cancer if you have a light skin. I developed a growth on the lower eye lid of my right eye. I do not know if it is cancer or just a benign growth but I went on a high nutrition diet for about two months and the growth have shrunk noticeably. I would like to share the diet with you. The soup Ingredients: - two handfuls of Chopped broccoli, one chopped onion (purple), two bags of green tea, two pinches of mixed herbs, two sticks of cut celery, Two handfuls of frozen and crushed spinach or kale, half a table spoon of crushed garlic, Three shakes of black pepper, seven shakes of turmeric, two tablespoons full of apple cider vinegar (with the mother), one bag of white onion powder soup for flavour, a hand full of cooked red speckled beans and a handful of cooked mince meat. Just add all the ingredients in a pot, add boiling water and switch the stove on high till the water boils. Then lower the heat until the water simmer, Let the soup simmer for an hour. The soup is now ready. I would only drink water in the morning. At 12h00 I would start eating the soup. There will be about two helpings that you can eat in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. I also ate a fruit salad every day in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. (Note: Apparently turmeric reduces the effect of some chemotherapy drugs and thus should not be taken during chemotherapy.) During the rest of the week I would also eat food that contains vitamin D like avocado’s, mushrooms, liver and eggs in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. It seems to be working for me, maybe it will also work for you. I pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ that you will be healed. Amen. All Glory to Jesus!! Thank you for your testimony. I just finished my treatment with chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy and you are so right. Every step of the way He pulled me through. I was so scared but in my prayers before I started my treatment God showed me through His Holly Spirit that He was going to make me go through the process but that beforehand He had already my healing. I know it's hard to understand that but that just gave me the peace I needed. I got my TC SCAN ,MRI after the treatment and everything came out clear of cancer 🙌 praise my Lord and saver Jesus Christ 🙌 🙏 now I'm waiting for 3 months to do a second TC SCAN. I'm getting my strength back and declaring by faith that never ,never again the cancer won't come back. God is perfect and His healing is perfect ❤ I believe that with all my heart. Wow, first of all, I hope you are doing well 🙏 I work in CT, if you come to the ER and say your stomach hurts after eating spicy food for 30 minutes you are getting a STAT CT!!! Insane but that's how it is, if you come back tomorrow we will do it again and AGAIN! Your generation comes in if they have any issues for 15 minutes while eating and taking on the phone, then ask how much longer! American is out of control. You can't be from America because we also get you into a specialist within a day or so!! Diagnosed in the ER first with the CT, admitted and a biopsy next day. I guess we catch it immediately but that's why our insurance is so high! EVERYONE gets a CT!!

Also I am not saying this just because: there is a tumor in my small intestine that was detected in January 2023. I have been so sick for years and still am. They don’t want to take it out so not sure what it is ( chance of neuro endocrine kind) as they cannot biopsy is at is way too deep in my small intestine. Nope, nothing to do with it. Our son had colon cancer in 2014 at 36. After his bowel resection, the surgeon told us he was seeing more young people with colon cancer. That's why the AMA now recommends colon screening at a younger age.
No, it's not. It's anal s3x, smoking/vaping, HPV, and processed foods, but women like her don't see doctors regularly and don't admit to engaging in risky behaviors like anal s3x.

All Glory to Jesus!! Thank you for your testimony. I just finished my treatment with chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy and you are so right. Every step of the way He pulled me through. I was so scared but in my prayers before I started my treatment God showed me through His Holly Spirit that He was going to make me go through the process but that beforehand He had already my healing. I know it's hard to understand that but that just gave me the peace I needed. I got my TC SCAN ,MRI after the treatment and everything came out clear of cancer 🙌 praise my Lord and saver Jesus Christ 🙌 🙏 now I'm waiting for 3 months to do a second TC SCAN. I'm getting my strength back and declaring by faith that never ,never again the cancer won't come back. God is perfect and His healing is perfect ❤ I believe that with all my heart. I declared your healing in Jesus name 🙏

I just heart this week that I have stage 3 rectal cancer and I am scared
I just got diagnosed too. I've been doing lots of research. It is survivable.

Passing for your complete healing but even more piece of mind. I have a new cancer diagnosis and so much of my “suffering” odd in the anxiety and unknown. But when I’ve given it to Him I’m amazed at how everything falls into place. God bless you.

Wow, first of all, I hope you are doing well 🙏 I work in CT, if you come to the ER and say your stomach hurts after eating spicy food for 30 minutes you are getting a STAT CT!!! Insane but that's how it is, if you come back tomorrow we will do it again and AGAIN! Your generation comes in if they have any issues for 15 minutes while eating and taking on the phone, then ask how much longer! American is out of control. You can't be from America because we also get you into a specialist within a day or so!! Diagnosed in the ER first with the CT, admitted and a biopsy next day. I guess we catch it immediately but that's why our insurance is so high! EVERYONE gets a CT!!

Also I am not saying this just because: there is a tumor in my small intestine that was detected in January 2023. I have been so sick for years and still am. They don’t want to take it out so not sure what it is ( chance of neuro endocrine kind) as they cannot biopsy is at is way too deep in my small intestine. Got baptized as a JW when I was 14 so I feel extremely fortunate to know what the Bible teaches about sickness: not our fault at all ❤❤

Nope, nothing to do with it. Our son had colon cancer in 2014 at 36. After his bowel resection, the surgeon told us he was seeing more young people with colon cancer. That's why the AMA now recommends colon screening at a younger age.
