Today is my dad's birthday. He passed away right before all this sickness stuff. He was a huge fan, and an artist who shared with me stories and art of a comic he always wanted to make that was inspired by the songs you guys created. Prince Bytor was my fairy tale hero and I put my boys to sleep jamming to Fountain of Lamneth and The Necromancer. What I'm trying to say is you guys rock and We love what you guys do! Go get you some soup and a cold Hammer! Thank you guys!!

Imagine being a musician and spending nearly 50 years working with the same two friends; being relentlessly creative together; day in, day out, until Neil had to leave his friends - and us too, sadly. Remarkable.
There's a really great video of all three of them at dinner. It's from the Limelight documentary from a few years back iirc. They are all hilarious, intelligent dudes who genuinely love each other. Rush is the best band of all time.
