    I really appreciate your choice of music. So many other car channels feature stuff that sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks branched out into dubstep.

    Hey man, thanks for the walkthrough. I just added my Cobb intake and followed this step by step and it was a snap. Much appreciated!

    Great vid, one suggestion tho: speak clearly and louder, could not really hear you over the music. Other than that, great walkthrough, helped a lot

      I know the audio was bad. I didn't have an external mic when I made this and there was so much white noise.

    Tip anyone that stumbles across this video. If you have the stock intake still to make removing the box easier remove the headlight bulb cover. The air box slips right out after

      I'm in Canada as well and the ACN tune is what's recommended for Canadian fuel, because it is so terrible. Unless you're in AB. Might be a bit better?

    Hey I know this video is old, but I noticed you deleted the air jug and put what looks like a performance air filter where it once was, did that give you a lot of noise over the stock jug set up ?

    • @AdrianMorse42069
      @AdrianMorse42069  4 года назад

      Yeah it did actually increase the intake noise. I wish I was making RUclips videos when I did that because it's an interesting and basically free mod other than the cost of a filter.

    • @cullen5419
      @cullen5419 4 года назад

      Adrian Morse thanks man. I’ve been looking to get more induction noise without going full intake. What filter did you use on the bottom?

    • @AdrianMorse42069
      @AdrianMorse42069  4 года назад

      It was this filter here if I remember correctly www.edelbrock.com/pro-flo-universal-red-medium-conical-air-filter-with-3-3-5-and-4-inlet-43641.html

    Quico question do you need the access port of you get the cold air intake system??

  • @user-td7ss4vb9d
    @user-td7ss4vb9d 4 месяца назад

    So if you don't have cobb access port you can't run this intake

    • @AdrianMorse42069
      @AdrianMorse42069  4 месяца назад

      You probably can but it's advised you run the proper tune

    i bought my 2013 sti with the stage 2 kit fully installed but im having problems keeping my intake filter clean. does anyone have and recommendations on a fully enclosed intake box? could my fender shrouds be causing it?

    • @AdrianMorse42069
      @AdrianMorse42069  9 месяцев назад

      I don't think there are many aftermarket sealed boxes. OEM with a good filter might be your only option

    If I had a SF intake already but installed a new one would I still need to reflash? I just swapped for another SF with a air box and black hose that’s all

  • @alanchanthavisouk8557

    Can I reflash the Cobb access port back to factory ecu if I choose to? With factory parts of course..

    • @AdrianMorse42069
      @AdrianMorse42069  4 года назад +1

      When you flash a new map, the access port should save a map of your stock tune. You can then reflash the stock map that is saved just like any other map whenever you decide to go back to stock.

  • @franciscoibarra6904

    Hey i know this was made a while back but how does the tuner work... can i just do the mapping and take it off? Or do i have to have it connected? This is my first mod that i want to do to my 2008 wrx

    • @AdrianMorse42069
      @AdrianMorse42069  4 года назад

      You can either load your desired map and unplug the access port, or leave it plugged in to monitor your engine in real time.

  • @mobius6772

    Did you throw any codes putting the air flow sensor on the new Cobb? That's my only worry.

    • @AdrianMorse42069
      @AdrianMorse42069  4 года назад +2

      There were no codes. You could run it without using the Cobb flash tune, but it is recommended that you do use it.

    Here me out. It's videos like this that pisses me off for not being prepared and following through blindly.
    I made my own box, cause I couldn't get one cheap enough. It worked out, but took WAAAAY longer than it should have, if I could've visualized the dimensions of the box. Cobb's instructions aren't as helpful, because they're broad.
    In hindsight, this video would've been a lifesaver. So if there's a lesson to be learned, do you're homework first.
