Alessandro Gualtieri is so damn Italian in both DNA and his bold concepts that that aura of NL free spirit of coffee shops and 'walking' areas are just a little spice on top of his Mediterranean fervor.

I used to work for small Italian pharmaceutical company "Chiesi" for 4 years. And, I love Italians. They so much like us, Russians by mentality. And, of course they are very nice people to work and make friends with.
Italian brands! ❤ Thank you for owning and choosing Prada L'homme which is a great office scent for soapy and clean vibe which makes it my favorite designer perfume :)
Light blue intense is phenomenal, works great in this heat we're getting up north and massive compliment getter for me! I'd highly recomend you try 'The One, Mysterious Night' for D&G as well, the one dna with rose. One of my favourites i own. Also Prada L'Homme intense is great, not a fan of L'Homme tbh but intense is fantastic.
Bellissima selection, Chris. Always interesting to hear your scent memory stories which elevate the fragrance to something much more meaningful. What an abundance of fragrance houses Italy has to offer the world mightily impressive.
Hi Chris! I'm Italian but well... I'm not into football at all. Anyway I'm happy that you enjoy so much italian brands! In the indie category I'd like to give you two names that here are BIG: Filippo Sorcinelli and Meo Fusciuni. Two artists, literally (Sorcinelli is the one who makes clothes for the pope, Fusciuni is a poet and chemist who made some of the most beautiful things I've ever smelled). I can understand not having some designer fragrances. Speaking for myself once I started diving into the niche world and the quality and longevity they usually provide I feel like I'm wasting my money going back to buy designers. I find niche way more appealing and worth the money (I usually buy decants bc I have so many so I consider $30-$50 for 10ml a great value for niche)
Yes, kind of sad he doesn't have more versaces... pour homme is a pretty good signature scent as well, one of my most complimented ones with people that normally don't like frags (especially the heavier sweeter ones)
@@user-mv7kh5sv9z That is interesting, can you say why you prefer profumo? I owned both, profumo was a bit too loud and sweet for me (a lot of other frags own that sweet point) so i found more value in absolu, made it kind of more special and i gave away my profumo 🙂
@@Dosenrave0li It depends, for indoors, Absolu is better. For outdoors, Profumo is the right one. Personally I also like more Absolu because is subtle but cozier.
@@Dosenrave0li Don't get me wrong, I think the Absolu is a gorgeous scent but I tend to lean towards the sweet side and Profumo has blended that very well. I do not like overly sweet scents by the way. I rate them as 1st Code Profumo, 2nd Code Absolu, 3rd. Code EDT. I rate the Code line over the Acqua di Gio line. Just my opinion. But I am transitioning into niche scents now as I have enough 'mass appealing' fragrances in my collection
Pardon is pretty crazy. First time I wore it, I thought I smelled brut. Next round I sprayed it, the dry down smelled like Dior Homme intense. That opening tho, never smelled anything like it, gives me a minty cold woody vibe. My dad got some incense when he tried it. It's really cool that it smells different for everyone.
Great video as always! Personally, I would also recommend Pantheon Annone, Morph Nudo and Orto Parisi Brutus for those enthusiastic about niche-fragrances. Also maybe Xerjoff Nero 70 could be on the list?🤔 Or XJ 1861 Renaissance, which is very Italian.
Big Colonia Essenza and Prada l'Homme fan here. In the Essenza i pick up a creamy rose and a tame vetiver in the background that makes it irresistibile when it dries down, while the Homme EDT has that balanced spicyness and some ambery sweetness that keeps it masculine and interesting, and very clean at the same time. 😍
Oh our chrissy babes ! I must admit nasomatto pardon, nasomatto black afgano , I own both& tbh I personally think they're more autumn/winter frags, especially black afgano, in warm weather black afgano can smell a bit like you've peed yourself the night before because you drank too much absinth and woke up in a ditch next morning, lol, but in cold weather its lovely tbh, pardon works lovely better in the cold aswell, awesome frags, but for spring/summer it has to be colonia intensa, beautiful. Have to say though I recently purchased bleu de chanel parfum 100ml and I'm already nearly 1/3 into it, so lovely and versatile. 3 sprays does the trick all day.
Excellent video Chris. But, one critics for you, brand BVLGARI is better than VERSACE, my humble opinion! Can you agree with me?! And ofcourse, if we talk about blue scents, must mentioned BVLGARI ”Glacial Essense” for summer 2020/21!

There’s 2 of the best missing from this list in Xerjoff and Tiziana Terenzi, I don’t think I’ve seen you mention Tiziana Terenzi before, but understandable because the designer Italian fragrances are probably the most popular on the market, great list nonetheless, love pardon and have all the others you mentioned in my collection, masque Milano are great and high quality! Try out of Italians Lorenzo Villorezi. He is to my mind one of the most vividly devoted to true masculine tastes. And Nobile 1942. Worth getting acquainted with.
Just to clarify the fine line between these famous niche brands. The most sophisticated and lean is Nobile 1942. Clear cologne style akin to old Penhaligon's by Mediterraneans. The middle as to density and brightness is Aqua di Parma, which sort of delicately balances between the natural feeling and perfumy vibes. And the most dense and consistent in herbal, natural and deep Italian pharmaceutical tradition is Lorenzo Villorezi. If to go further for mustiness and warmth, there would be Bois 1920 and Enzo Galardi himself. A very rich variety of styles, including powdery, herbal, resinous and other themes.
Great list brother buy Prada lomme intense since you like iris base fragrances 👍 amazing for the cooler weather. Your going to love it trust me my favorite 👍
Prada Amber and lhomme intense (beast). Versace The dreamer and Eros flame. Xerjoff Nio and The Don and Naxos! Aqua Di Parma Colonia Essenza and Leather
Another powehouse among the designer segment is Ermenegildo Zegna. Especially his exclusive collection. This one has once betrayed their bestseller PH Essenza di Zegna which was an immaculate minimalist Ceasar's water of life. Discontd, shame. But there are gems for modern posh style in there.

Tango, Ivory Route, Naxos, Terrarossa, Costume National Homme, Bottega Veneta all in there too.
