I came back after 3 years. He came to my class in 6th grade. ill never forget his smile. His wife was my teacher. I promised myself i’ll never forget him.
Aw RIP Charlie, I have been watching all the channel's videos lately and realized I only got to meet and learn about Charlie through his work here, years after he was already gone. This channel truly serves as a time capsule to preserve and share the stories for many years and generations to come. Thanks to everyone who is a part of this project and has continued after him! Also laughed pretty hard at the story of the Japanese translators using western accenting and phrasing
I work at a McDonald’s on Ellsworth road, I just met him the other day, I told him that I’m a huge fan of the channel. It was a pleasure to meet him, I’m very upset about the news Rest In Peace Charlie, and hopefully he knows the answers to all the mysteries now.
Wow, I enjoy watching these you tube videos with Charlie about the Superstition Mountains. It was a first class channel, I got the chance to meet him at the dutchman treasure hunters awards, sorry to hear about this.
Don't know Charlie personally, but you could just tell from the video's he was a heckuva guy! My condolences to his family. I'm not sure I would want to live in a world without storytellers, and Charlie was one of the best! He will be missed. Rest in Peace Charlie!
R.I.P charlie.. God speed.. You will be missed sir.. I know your riding with the cowboys in the great wide open in the sky.. Thanks for all the stories my old friend
Charlie was a very special guy. Incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and hard working. A wonderful treasure trove of information about Western films and actors. It's an honor to have known and worked with him.
I am a city slicker from Texas. I have always had a fascination about the dutchman. Two years ago I took the family to Apache Junction. I wish I had been more adamant about meeting Charlie when I was in town. After I found the U-tube channel all the things I saw when in town just came full circle. He gave the Mountains a life of there own. Then he started all the interviews that brought out so much more details and the history of the Superstitious Mountains. Charlie way of asking the questions and then add to the stories just put a picture in your mind kind of made you long to be there in the heyday of the cowboys and the 49'rs. I am saddened in my heart to hear of his passing. Things in life that takes your breath away this is one of those for me. I wait for Christs resurrection when he will live again. May God speed the day.
RIP to Charlie and please continue the show and the stories I am an Arizona native I just found your show and hope to visit the museum soon I can't get enough I have been binge watching since I found this channel
I’m a long time LDM enthusiast & love the Arizona backcountry. I just discovered this channel a week ago & cant stop watching. Charlie seemed like a really cool guy, sorry for your loss but thank you for keeping him alive here on the channel.
I really enjoyed the show when Mr. Charlie was part of it.And I still enjoy Greatly listening to you Gentleman telling more stories!!!! God Bless you Gentleman and keep tellin us your amazing stories. Thanks from Alabama!!
Glad you guys plan to keep the series going. I'm sure Charlie would have wanted that. You could tell he really enjoyed doing this. And we enjoy watching it. Thank you to everyone behind this.
I knew Charlie for only a very brief time but he was as you so aptly described him; enthusiastic, disarming, a great storyteller and easy to be around. The news of his passing really struck me. I will miss seeing him on installments of Mysteries of the Superstition Mountains, but I'm looking forward to you gentlemen carrying on the legacy. I feel honored that you used the photo I took at the Superstition Mountain Museum for this tribute video. I'm planning to attend his memorial to say farewell. Ride easy on the heavenly trail, Charlie.
When I first heard that Charlie had passed away I could hardly believe it and didn't want to believe it, how could it be possible? Charlie didn't look, act or sound old enough to have died and besides that I had just watched another great "mysteries of the Superstition Mountains " with Charlie hosting. I knew I was going to miss him and I do, I still do. I like and enjoy all of the guests and speakers on Mysteries of the Superstition Mountains and although I've never been there and likely never will, the series and the speakers who live there have me infatuated with the Superstitions and make me wish I were a younger man. I wish Charlie could know how much I enjoyed him hosting the series and I want to let all those still involved in bringing the how to use how glade I am and how much I appreciate them continuing with the series.Thank you to those responsible for keeping the show ongoing and making it so interesting!
Larry, Hank and Jack - many thanks for such a great and beautiful tribute to Charlie! I met Charlie several years ago at one of the cowboy Q&A, meet and greet weekends in Texas. Charlie was such a sweet, caring, giving and very knowledgeable man about cowboy movies and the west. Charlie will be greatly missed and I know that he's on a horse riding those heavenly trails with all the other western actors. It's not good bye Charlie - - but it's, we'll see you again at the heavenly chuck wagon campfire!! Thanks again Larry, Hank and Jack for those fond memories of Charlie and your true stories! God Bless you all!
My condolences to everyone from the production crew to the guests of the show to friends and family of Charlie LeSueur. I loved listening to Charlie’s videos and learned so much about the Superstition Mountains and the Old Wild West. He will truly be missed. To be honest I believed Charlie would outlast Hank. I’m so grateful for being able to watch these videos and I am also glad that the show will go on. It just won’t be the same without him. R.I.P. Charlie, you were a great Gentlemen.
Sorry to about losing Charlie, I’m sure his family will miss him. As all of will also. I am glad to hear that you men will continue the show... I’m staying tuned!
I've met Hank and Charlie I now Charlie's wife she's a teacher at my school and his daughter I felt really sad when his daughter came and told our teacher that he died
Thank's Guys for this send off of Charlie. I was born in Arizona 60 years ago, and after a life changing event, I left Oregon and came back to my home state for good. Since then I have made it a point to see this great state from my duel sport motorcycle which allows me to ride the back roads of AZ. I was blessed to have stumbled upon this channel, and I watch one or two stories every day. What you are doing is preserving history and very important. I was saddened to come across this episode and learn of Charlie's death. I am sure Charlie would have wanted you to continue on sharing your knowledge and stories with others. God Bless you all. Keep it going!
It feels like a kick in the gut to me, and of course his family and circle of friends are feeling it all the more. I have watched every episode at least once, many of them three and four times. I ran into Clay Worst a little over a week ago at the Blue Bird Mine snack bar. Your series was really my introduction to this amazing historian, and meeting Clay was at the top of my bucket list. Meeting Charlie was right up there on my list as well, but he was my age, so I thought I had lots of time. I have been wanting to meet Larry Hedrick as well, and have been hoping to meet him when dropping in at the museum. Charlie was more of a celebrity than he knew. There are many of us out there who somehow feel we know him from his time spent in front of the camera. I so regret not being able to thank him. My condolences to Dawn and Charlie's seven children. There are more of us out here that share your grief than you may know.
In about 1965 I read a book by Gordon D Shirreffs called The Mystery of the Haunted Mine and became entranced with the Superstitions. I don't know if I'll ever make it out there, but you guys and especially Charlie brought them to me. Many condolences and thank you all very much!
I recently found this channel a few months ago and couldn't stop watching till I saw every episode.Charlie was fun, knowledgeable and extremely entertaining. He will be missed and especially by all of you that knew him best.God be with him as well as his family . I'm sure he knows now where the lost Dutchman had kept his secret...Rest in peace Charlie LeSueur...
I myself it just found the channel couple weeks ago. I was slowly making my way through all the videos. What a great series. And what a really likeable guy Charlie seemed to be. Sorry to hear about his passing. Rest in peace
Charlie will be missed, love all you guys and the memories and story’s, please keep the show going I look forward to hearing more of history and legends. Awesome! Wa. State
Gosh, it’s a sad day. Just learned he had passed. I could hardly wait for a new “Mysteries” video to be published. Never met him, but I will surely miss Charlie. R.I.P.
Shocked and saddened. Not much I can say to his friends and family except that their are 2 kinds of people who call this Great State home. Some simply live here, no more no less. Others find themselves compelled. The mountains, vistas, magnificent desolation and of course legends draw them like moths to flames. Being the latter, we lost in Charlie a True Arizonan. RIP
When I met Charlie and visited with him for a few minutes I had the feeling he was someone I had known for years. It was strange. I was sorry to hear of his passing.
I just moved to AZ and it is very nice to learn History as I love history. It would have been awesome to meet Charles. as the rest of you. I hope these stories continue for many years.
I can't believe I am just hearing about this now. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Charlie's family and friends! RIP Sir! I'm sure you have just solved all the mysteries of the Superstition Mountains! I just wish you could fill us all in!
As a Canadian I enjoy listening to these stories and hope that it's kept up. My Condolences to Charlie's family and friends Now he's telling stories to whole new group of people

So sad. My condolences to everyone who knew him. I have really enjoyed the Mysteries of the Superstition Mountains series, and the way Charlie delivered the stories.
