    The knowledge of these men is outstanding. My father told me about the Dutchman cave and of his time working at the OK corral, so to match his story to these legends has been absolutely great. Thank you for taking the time to research and document this history!!

    There are always going to be skeptics, and then there are the ones who seem to go out of their way to be skeptical no matter what truths you reveal to them. I happened upon your videos by accident and immediately subscribed, the lore and many mysteries of the Superstition Mountains have always held a special fascination for me, once again, love the series, love the videos and the amazing stories and the way you relate them. please keep them coming, Best regards.

    I agree with how they put the videos together. It's best to let the old timers with many stories and lots of information to keep talking at length so we don't lose this to the sands of time. 60 Minutes does the voice over lead in to expanded segments, or at least in the "olden days" when they were more respectable. It's also best not to drive an interview with leading questions.

    You know there are those other shows that do not meet the level of your sincerity, and many are losing at the polls. They also have their own fan base such as family, friends, cons, etc. that may even be funded by the 'kitty' or the favor. Regardless of such meaningless drivel meant to bring your show back to an average status they can strive to attain, they gave you an opportunity to prove once again your overall performance of quality, honesty, and humility. You win!

    Great of you to bring us these videos. I think more people are going to be asking for rock samples from inside the hole or what you saw inside of it. Without this information the mystery for them is now, full of more unanswered questions, even if it has always been a cache... why the wheelbarrow, possibly from the Mexicans? Was it a mine? Are there any signs of ore inside that pit?

    You can satisfy some of the people some of the time but you can't satisfy all the people all the time. Dosen't matter how., who , where, why, you put out the stories, the main thing is that you do put out the stories and as long as you do I'll be a subscriber. Thanks to you and all who help you. Keep them cameras rollin.

    Among your many, many, interesting videos, I find some of these "conversational" videos featuring two of you at the same time, to be very interesting and entertaining. I wonder if you could do a segment featuring Larry, Hank, and Jack San Felice, all together? Pick a topic related to the Superstitions and exchange your thoughts and personal experiences. I think it would be fun to see all of you together, sort of "riffing" off of one-another. The treasure trove of stories and experiences that you all have is just so much fun to listen to and you are all clearly, very nice people. Thanks again.

    You guys do a fantastic job on your show. I am surprised at some of the comments that may indicate otherwise. I, for one, look forward to each and every new video you put out. I do however, think Clay Worst is your most interesting guest on your show and hope there may be more interviews with him for the future? He prolly knows more about the Lost Dutchman and the Lost Dutchman Mine then any man or woman alive. I hope he lives long enough to see this mystery finally solved after 125+ years. :)

    Jack San Felice, in When Silver was King, writes about the Silver King mine having been bought by the Deens, who in early 2000 were attempting to reopen the mine until the Forest Service gave a cease and desist order. Felice's book out in 2006 had no mention if the Deens had begun mining again or had given up. Any update on this mine would be good.

    Actually it's really risky for someone 80 years old to be hiking like that a good friend of mine in his 70's tripped in a parking lot over some asphalt. He is 6'3 feet tall about 235 lbs fell over on his side. He thought oh I fell going to feel this tonight thinking oh going to be bruised up he fell before he was younger bones just don't break as easy . Then he realized his leg is broken later discovered in 6 places as well as the hip joint. 8 months of hospitals and rehabs, hip replacement he is good again a year later. About 6 months after that the joint they put in is infected they have to remove the entire hip joint he is laid up another 6 months in beds because he has no hip joint while they try to get rid of the infection. 3 more months they put the a hip joint back in he is just now walking again it's been 2 1/2 years since the fall in the parking lot. Talking about negative commits post here is just giving them attention they didn't get as a child.

    Maybe you should not read the comments, they're only going to upset you. But the longshot of that huge mountain gives the impression there should be many, many natural trails and caves to investigate--- is it that most of it is on private property and you don't have permission?

    We love the series
    But can some one answer this
    The superstision mountains are volcanic
    Are there lava tubes below ground

    • @larryhedrick254
      @larryhedrick254 4 месяца назад

      Cannot say for sure but many of the mountains in the wilderness and close adjacent areas are resurgent collapsed calderas. In short, the mountains were pushed up by lava and when the lava receded then the mountain collapsed in on itself then were pushed back up again by new lava domes.
      All I can say is there are no known lava tubes anywhere on the surfaces but hollow places beneath the mountains is likely.
