Regular stretching won’t just help you perform better on court, it will also help your body in the days and years to come! 😊 We have to apologise that Greg isn’t as flexible as most people you’ll find on a RUclips stretching video 😂
I just got back playing Badminton aftee 16 years of not playing (highschool to my 32 years of age). Been playing 2 months, it healed my inner child when back then I didn’t have the money and support to play the game. Now, I have my own business and I can play anytime and buy the things that I need to play. The thing is, I dont have a coach. And here I am, watching Badminton Insight to learn the basics. You guys are the best.
Just came back from my sunday 10 am training and thought: Now I have to do some stretching. Sometimes its scary how accurate your videos fit to what I currently need...
This is exactly every badminton player need after match. I used to lazy at stretching after the game, and few months later my muscle got freeze and a lot of pain… thank Greg for this great video and good illustration.
I’m doing this routine every day and I love it. My only issue? Every morning I hear at 11:22 « four more exercises to go » while there is only 3 or 5 remaining. 😂
Hi badminton insight I’ve been a fan for a couple of years now I started badminton when I was 5-6 years old then a friend told me about badminton insight I watched ur videos (a lot of them) since then u helped me learn badminton keep up the good work u guys ❤
I do yoga to keep the injuries at bay. I do many of these stretches at yoga. It really makes a difference. My injuries are fewer and easier to heal. It's great that this video is focused on the muscles that get tight from badminton. Great job 👏
Hey, just came home after my serious badminton match with my new racket. also to say, I was following this video for 4 days and definitely, I knew the differences on my play today. Thanks a lot for this video, really love it. 😊
This such an underrated routine. At every end of the playing session we barely have time for them has we have to pack our stuff and leave the facilities. I got used to do some of them before going to sleep but what really helped me the most was running some Kathara level 2-3 techniques to refuel the whole body and energy layers during the night. One or two night sessions with the frequencies are not enough but it really helped me avoid some of those pesky injuries.
Had a 3 hr session yesterday and wasnt in the best mood to do the stretches straight after that... Felt stiff today so I decided to watch this video and it genuinely helped in relaxing the tense muscles so much... Thanks Greg And Jenny :)
Watching your videos made me realize that you guys are like my online coaches, i learn just by watching your step by step guides. That's why I love and appreciate every video you upload online❤❤
Very helpful man..I played badminton professionally after one year then I suffered stiffness in my whole body but now I am completely all right thank you so much for this informative video 😊❤
I did a little shorter form of this sometimes. But i really like the music, the explanation and of course the coach ;) I will try and turn on this video every evening for my strech routine. Thank you a lot!
I always used to view stretching before and after playing badminton as cringe when I started. It definitely makes a difference when playing multiple times a week. Super helpful video 😊
@@BadmintonInsight Of course, my perspective definitely changed as I grew older and I came to realize how important it is to reduce soreness but also prevent injury 😁
Hey guys! Great vid yet again! Could you please make a vid or give some tips on Junior matches tactics and strategies And on how you two studied at college and also managed to continue your training on becoming pro players(like did you get a scholarship and how you managed your studies and training routines) that would be really helpful. Thanks!!
update! i entered an interschool tournament and made it to the round of 32, lost to a state player, and broke my ryuga during warmup (it just broke when i hit a smash ☠️, it was a fresh new string at 28x30), bought a ryuga metallic and back to the smashing game again :) this stretching video has prevented me from getting injuries or muscle cramps! thanks so much!
Hello, I was wondering if you could make a video on how to get your skills back after not playing for 2-4 months of badminton. I will really appreciate it if you do, thanks!
Can you recommend a string colour which has colour and gives benifits specifically from India because my aggressive play style makes every string I own break easily
@@BadmintonInsight Research for cyclists suggested that stretching before could actually be detrimental to performance - presumably it might apply to badminton too, best to stretch warm muscles, not when they're cold!
Can you help me improve my game cause i have a tournament on october Its my first time so i want to win can you guys make a tutorial on rules and tactics on mens doubles

Isometric holds and movement based stretches/mobility work beforehand, static stretching after
Yay! I am early. Tysm for the awesome video once again
Thanks so much, this is exactly what I needed yesterday evening after two tournaments in two days...!
A fantastic routine, and just what I need right now!

LOL, i just got lower back injury from playing badminton and the physiotherapist said that i need more streching!
Hope it helps you 😊
This is my 8th time watching in the past two weeks hahahaha
Thanks. My lower back recently hurts from playing too much. I need more stretching.
This is so good. Is it possible to write down all of the stretches and its RUclips time in the description?
Such a perfect video thanks !
Definitely 'keep breathing' Greg, failure to do so may affect your health:) Keep up the good work.

Hey hi, nice video ❤ I have learnt a lot from your video
First time I’ve stretched before playing in about 10 years 😂 thanks
Congrats on your 500k plus subs
Keep it up😊
Thank you! We’ll try our best 😃
Thank you!!!
I love your vids mann
Nice this helped me alot now im better :)
Day 2 of asking to make a
"Trickshots that are necessary to learn and gives u advantage" type of video
Oh better video quality!
(Not saying old videos have horrible quality tho)
another W video!
Can you do a fast warm-up before the match, i need for my tournament
Search their videos for 'The Perfect On-Court Warm Up For Badminton Players!'
Thanks for making the video very easy to follow i will use this before i next play 🎉
These are more suited after you have played, use dynamic stretches before exercise.
Great video idea, feel its undervalued by most club players at least
amazingg felt it in this one
Should I do this stretching routine after the training session, or is it suitable as part of the warm-up routine as well?
This is static stretching and is best used after training. Dynamic stretching is better as warm-up.
It’s best for after you have finished playing!
this is for right after playing badminton right? when your muscles are still warm? is there a 5 minute version of this?
Can you please answer this, is foam rolling actually helpful in badminton?
If yes when and how to do it
Hey man i practiced ur doubles rotation i just wanna ask if u have any tips on positioning and knowing if the enemies shots is out or in
needed this!! i used to never stretch before games 😭👎
For the stretch at 8:13, what should I do if I can't get my hands to the floor?
Just lean forwards and try to reach floor you'll still feel it
Hello, I was wondering if you could make a video on how to get your skills back after not playing for 2-4 months of badminton. I will really appreciate it if you do, thanks!
You are very FLEXIBLE on video uploads 😂 Pun intended
question, isn't this suited more for cooling down? what i understand is that static streches good for cooldown and dynamic for warming up
Ye u do stretches to cool down
yes this is a followup session after your badminton games
Thank you
should we do it before , after or both times
Can you recommend a string colour which has colour and gives benifits specifically from India because my aggressive play style makes every string I own break easily
One day to asking for a badminton rakit wed 28 lbs for may intramural
Hi im big fan of yours. Because of your videos i master in badminton and i got in division Can you give me atleast one racket 😅❤
Are there stretches designed specifically for pre/post game?
Wow thanks for letting me know
Very helpful video, however when do we do these? Before or after playing badminton?
After 😃

FIRST PIN MEH I HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOU TWO FOR 3 YEARS AND I CURRENTLY AM SELECTED IN PUNJAB STATE BADMINTON
I love badminton it’s fun once you learn how to play.
Learning is fun, too! But you soon realise that you have to get so much right just to play badly! 🙂
Hi greg and Jenny, I am a huge fan of yours and could I please have a racket.
And also can make more strength training for badminton like this
Not gonna lie the yoga mat, the music, I thought i'm watching a yoga video by Greg
When exactly should these stretched be done ?? And how many times in a week ??
i do believe this routine is a followup session after you play badminton and it should be executed everytime you finish playing.
