And point 5: enough RAM, 8 GB is at this moment enough for most normal laptop-users, but if you want to keep your laptop for a few years, go for 16 GB.
This one's indeed very helpful! Looking forward on seeing you doing a review for the MSI E13 Flip Evo. I'm really thorned between it and the HP Spectre x360. Still undecided though.
My IdeaPad 3 2021 has a fairly stiff hinge but since I got it at 450usd it isn't too big of a deal since most of everything else is great. Thermals are always 40-45 degrees and 55 when gaming on it.
Good day, this is great advice as someone who is saving for a laptop this is going to come handy but I really wish one could find a guide that mentions everything for a beginner etc like for example when someone talks about CPU you know stuff like that I get lost and thats half of the youtube videos I have clicked on which I stopped watching halfway because I have never owned a laptop and I really don't know much about them .
same some to buy and which to stay away from. give laptop in multi range budget. like top 10 for 200-300 , then for 300-400. n separate for gaming laptop and chrome
I remember when I was to buy Asus zephyrus G14, I stepped back . However the great reviews I saw, all speak of the thermal issues the laptop has. I am not a gamer, but I get reluctant. What do you think of it?
Honestly speaking I have not reviewed that so I would be lying if I said I knew any better. With that said a gaming laptop needs to have good thermals otherwise it will get performance issues and that would be bad. Also thank you for watching!
Why would you say storage can't be upgraded in a laptop? Storage is one of the few things you can upgrade easily. I will even specifically look for ones that come with lower storage because it will be cheaper and I can upgrade later.
@@SoulOfTech What are you talking about? I cant even find a laptop that has soldered storage. Sometimes slightly older models might have soldered ram, but certainly not ssd's.

Glad it was helpful! Hopefully I get to review those soon! MSI isnt ready to partner with me yet so I have to save up to buy before I can review :(

That's good to hear!
Cheers for helping narrow down my list, your knowlwedge and experience is appreciated
Glad to help
Hi. this is very helpful.
I'd like to ask what would your opinion be. between acer aspire 5 i3 and lenovo ideapad 3 i3, which is much better?
Does lenovo idea pad 3 i5 really have hinge issues ? And do you recommend it for programming and studying?

Thank you for covering the less covered topics!!!
Thanks for watching!

What is ur idea on MacBook Pro and MacBook Air
MacBooks are well built devices. They have their limitations. It comes down to if you prefer Mac OS or Windows

Ah.. I forget to say that I just love your content 🥰. Thank you!

Thermal is really important, slows the laptop a lot. Not sure if manufacturers advertise this though?
Manufactures do not as the test is circumstantial
Great points, thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

Many many laptops have soldred storage. It’s important to validate if the laptop you are looking at has upgradable storage.

@@SoulOfTech I have only found macs to have soldered storage.
Excellent advice. 👍
Thank you!
my lenovo ideapad 3 from 2014 broke at the hinge. i still use it but it needs to be propped up.
Sorry to hear that I am glad you can still use it however.
