Watching Fallout London with Thomas is like exploring some place with a good and funny guide.
While I was coming out of sleep this morning, I remembered that if Thomas eventually gets his character immune to rads via perks, etc, he'll then be able to swim in the highly-irradiated water. Makes you wonder if that's intentional from the modders. Is there stuff to be found underwater or in otherwise-inaccessible places in the later game, maybe?

Halberds are way cool. Halberds and pikes were used with great effect by Western European soldiers in the Middle Ages. The German and Swiss pikesmen were famous for prevailing even against formidable cavalry charges (especially when in a densely-packed solid triangle formation); and we're talking warhorses here, draft-sized equines called Destriers (destroyers), Coursers, and Rouncys (lighter-built than destriers), who were exceedingly well-trained in their own form of martial arts (most horses have the sense to not jump into a mob of large sharp pointy things, even on command, but hey, sometimes strange things happen). So yeh, halberds are nothing to sniff at. Yikes--who'd've thought it could be so dangerous beneath a church?! :0 Standard Post Boxer?! You dont say! Oh yesss... Camelot is the place for me! And so is the Derelict Farm! And why NOT both?! But I LIKE that big cool tree in the middle of the pub! It makes this pub unique. :) Honestly, Mr. T., I'm quite certain that I have plenty of company in my preference of 100% runs over speed runs. There is nothing wrong with speed runs, and it's fascinating to see how quickly a game can be completed; but for "thorough" education, immersive experience, and entertainment satisfaction, nothing compares to a skilfully presented 100%. :) Hank U so very much for the delightful adventures today, Mr. T. Utube is about to max out, so tomorrow is another day in Fallout London!

09:29:10 Just in case you don't get the "collecting cigarette cards" thing, this was a British pastime a bit like stamp collecting, probably mostly up to my generation (my other half has some). They were in visually-appealing themed groups to try to encourage us to collect all of them over time, such as "British Cricketers" or "Butterflies". You could often get specific themed books to stick them in as a collection (the current equivalent is probably a soccer or Harry Potter sticker book). There were also kids' equivalent "sweet cigarette cards" (yes, sweet cigarettes were a thing: just candy shaped like a small cigarette in small packets like cigarette packets!) and "tea cards" in boxes of tea. It was all to encourage people to buy more of the product. Collections still sell well in auctions, especially since they're not manufactured any more. History lesson over. :-)

The background/incidental music for Fallout London is superb, a strong mix of ambient synth and mood-responsive action pieces. Love it. :-)
09:28:25 "Pavlovian" I think refers specifically to "Pavlov's dogs", an experiment where he trained them to associate a sound (I think he rang a bell?) with then receiving food, and he found they would salivate in anticipation of food even without the food being there, by ringing the bell. In other words, you could "programme" a response. Sounds like this has been done with the brahmin.
It made me laugh when you thought you were going to breeze through the cultists and then the blood crab kept killing you 😂😂

Dag nabbit--I keep telling myself that I'll schedule a viewing of the rest of this episode for tomorrow, and then I realize that I'll have a difficult time sleeping tonight if I don't at least keep watching until Mr. T. finds that special book, hidden under a cardboard box...😅. Oh, there it is! I whooped so loudly that I must have disturbed my neighbors. Oh well, it was definitely for a good cause, and since they were making enough celebratory noise on the Glorious 4th of July to satisfy most of the planet, while I was quieter than a mouse, I think it evened out quite well. ;) Good on ya, Mr. T., for being as persistent as you are...now I have a better chance of a peaceful night's rest! Houston, we have a problem: Mr. T. keeps picking up too much loot and overencumbering himself 😂.

Oh wow--they even have rapeseed in this game--color me impressed; that natural remedy has some major medicinal benefits! It wouldn't be a genuine FL without cricket ball grenades ;) . Jeepers--that backpack looks like a beast; I heard somewhere that the white ones are even better?! Mitre = MY-ter (like a bishop's hat, both Catholic and Episcopal). Aw, come on, you know we're all dying to see Thomas Xplores in the sequin dress. The PLAYER CHARACHTER, of course! Although... ;) 😅

09:59:54 Funny the way the player is prevented from going upstairs by a low hung dividing rope! (Maybe there's some sort of force field as well?) Presumably, it's either an unfinished area (DLC???), or it'll unlock later in the game. It seems unlikely that it's not meant to be accessible at some point, or why bother to put stairs there at all, not just a wall?
11:15:20 What was I expecting before seeing the game in action? I didn't know anything about it other than the title, so I was expecting a very American idea of what London might be like post-apocalypse (which might in itself have been interesting), but this isn't like that at all. It has a very British sense of humour at its heart (such as the homicidal post boxes!), and has the feel of, say, V For Vendetta, or other British comics of that era written by the likes of Alan Moore. So, for me, it's a great success, not just in gameplay and content, but in British references (such as Doctor Who here and there), the ideas, visuals, sounds, imagination and originality. I would buy it tomorrow if it became available for the PS4. :-)

Luv it that THIS car dealership has some purpose! Say, does anyone know if you can get a jet pack in this game? Team FOLON rules! Yeah!! The sound volume is much improved this time, and I would judge the music soundtrack to be spot on. Still can't hear the radio, though. Focusing on FL at this time is perfectly understandable, and in fact, appropriate. Hank U, Mr. T.--its tea for me (tea and T. fo' EVAH)! Come to think of it, this is the first time I've noticed you wearing ornamentation, Mr. T.; very swishy, and it becomes you well. (Silver jewelry is my personal favorite, followed closely by pewter.) Oh my, the ending to the fish quest is totally clutch! I didn't see that coming either, but gotta LOVE IT! I rather fancy the perk that was just demonstrated, of going to sleep in one location and waking up in a different one; it appears that one has a chance of discovering a new location without being compelled to wade through a plethora of obstacles 👍. "Saint Pancreas" 😂. BRAVO Mr. T. !!! You vanquished the Mittenlurk at last! I knew you could be counted on not to give up. Congrats on the Clean Black Soots! Hmm...it appears that Pickman's cousin was here...? Or the cult of the Great Lord Pickman...? Yeesh, watamess!! Yep! Pickman (or his doppelganger) was here. It's awfully cool to "meet" another person who is just as AR about keeping their loot as organized as myself 😅.

They have Bighorners on this! And I take it the Radgers are the Fallout London equivalent of Yao Guai, the Famished are the Deathclaws, Pig rats are the mole rats, RadShrews are the RadRats.
Or not, considering I just came to the part where you took out some RadRats.
pig rats were in 1 & 2 and were kind of merged into one w/ the mole rats for 3 and by extension new vegas

The different-colored sootcases are a nice touch, and easier to spot. All in all, this game is impressing the sox off of me; exemplary work, team FOLON! Yay--lvl. 20--congrats! Um, I don't know of any other way to check out the vids of other CC's at this point, unless I can discover a space-time continum...loop...thingy; or maybe employ the necessary algorithms to calculate a schedule so that more content can be included in a 24-hr. period...😅. I highly suspect that I will be playing catch-up for the next several months... Washington State, US, here. :) .
Regarding Fort Knox: we US citizens are taught from infancy that Fort Knox contains the gold that backs up the paper currency used in the US, and affects the economy of the whole world, yadda yadda yadda... or so they say...personally, I've always taken the whole tale with a grain of salt. The security is unrivaled on this planet, that's for certain, projecting a very convincing image of guarding something as valuable as is claimed.
