- My Robalo 266 Cayman is almost done. I have a bunch of updates to share. Fishing SW FL in my new Robalo 266 Cayman and learning what’s working and needs modification is a fun ride.

@@CanalLifeSWFL No skydeck, but I would have loved to! We have the 425XTO motor and our dealer told us that the MPH doesn't display on the Yamaha gauge. Are you able to see that info on yours?

Love your channel . Question I see you have one power pole . I’m getting a power pole pro 2 on mine 10 foot. Single one . Is that enough to hold the 266 without an anchor ? Thanks again for your great videos and ps Robalo needs to get you on their payroll lol you do a good job
Thanks. I have two power poles. One would be ok but you will swing in the current a little. Since I fish a lot of bottom rigs, I didn’t want that. Appreciate the kind words.

Why did you get rid of the tidewater ?
I wanted a bay boat that had a head. I take a lot of kids out a want to do more.

Hey Dave, Love the new rod holders. You definitely needed them. Can you get Cuban Public Access TV with that antenna? Love the side scan and I need to get that as well. Wow, impressed with all of the add ons. The make a lot of sense. Does the rack you strapped on to the back of your seat bounce with the waves?
The rack is real tight. So far so good! Was an awesome idea my buddy had. The power of a good beer is amazing!😻

Just a heads up, be careful with that cupholder/rod holder setup on the gunnel. I find that they are not very secure and I would try to avoid using them while you're running in bumpy conditions. Rigging looks awesome man!
Appreciate that! I have two sea sucker mounts that hold six rods (3 each) vertically, plus six on the leaning post/t-top when on the move but I can get lazy from time to time! Good heads up!!
@@CanalLifeSWFL For whatever reason it happens if the butt of your rod isn't the T shape that locks in. The spinning rods for example, they'll freely spin & eventually just bounce out lol. Ask me how I know, now I have PTSD lol.
