    • @bodar

      Mainly because Predators come to hunt when/where it's hot out, which would not be the case in December. Unless Agent Peter Keyes (Busey's character in Predator 2), whose name is shown on the photo, was observing a Predator in the southern hemisphere. The latitude and longitude are wrong for LA though, and 17N is near the equator, so maybe he was in Mexico. That's where the coordinates shown in the photo point to.

    The School of Rock one isn't a blooper. Judging by the phone, that is during the time when it cost you per number of texts. He wasn't texting. He was with someone and typing something for them to read. Probably because the band was so loud they couldn't talk to each other and be heard.

      The biggest blooper in die hard is actually identified by the filmmakers. late in the movie they drive an ambulance out of the back of their truck as part of their plan to get away. The problem is that toward the beginning you saw inside the truck and there was no ambulance

      My favorite movie "blooper" is from Independence Day. Just after the initial attack, when the aliens blast all the major cities, you can see destruction everywhere. Everything is charred, and covered in ash. Yet, all the palm trees are as pretty and pristine as can be.

    One of my favorites was from the original Halloween movie . In one scene Lori and her friend are smoking a joint in a car with the windows rolled up . The sheriff calls them over to talk and they roll down the window and the sheriff sticks his head in the car and doesn't smell anything . A few minutes later when they drive off you see Michael pull up to a stop sign , look both ways then pull off . if he has been locked up since a child and never driven before how would he know to do this .

    • @GeorgeArthurJr

    • @BladedTales
      @BladedTales 14 дней назад +2

      The look both ways thing doesn't have anything to do with driving......we are all told to look both ways at stop signs and before crossing the street as children, why wouldn't one assume the same rule when in a car?
      And as for the whole "knowing to drive without being taught" thing.....also not weird. Driving isn't that difficult, cars back then were even simpler than now. I taught myself how to drive by literally just doing it, anyone can if given the chance to just get behind a wheel and mess with the car

    • @eaglerider1826
      @eaglerider1826 14 дней назад +2

      @@BladedTales You have your opinion . He is not crossing a street . He is making a left turn in a car . He also got in the car and drove over 150 miles to get to his home town in the middle of the night. Is it possible that he somehow taught himself how to read road maps and follow traffic signs , and speed limits ? Michael is not described as a genius but only as evil .

    I didn't even know about the T3 error until earlier this week. Meh. I don't care.
    The one that has always driven me nuts is the 1990 film Presumed Innocent. A character is on the courthouse steps and reporters thrust microphones forward to get a word. One of the reporters holds out a small cassette player, with the face of it clearly shown to the camera...and there isn't a tape inside of it. And it isn't like it's off to the side and you'd miss it. It's DEAD CENTER of the frame. I caught it in the theater because it's so blindingly obvious.

    Die Hard had another huge blunder, one that the director was fully aware of right around the time the movie was finishing up, as told in the Netflix show, "The Movies that Made Us." Because they were writing the story as they were still filming, they didn't have a way initially for the bad guys to try and exit the building after the heist. During filming, they got the idea to have a vehicle hidden in the box truck the team drives into Nakatomi Tower. Except...when they arrive, the camera shows the open back end of the truck and there is no vehicle. The director was informed and he basically said screw it and left it in. In the show, his quote is something along the lines of, "Well, that was an hour ago. Who cares?"

  • @rockero1313

    in "The Predator" defense, the 1990 footage could be actually from 1990 but from another Predator. remember that the Spec Ops team had knowledge about the Predator before 1997 so maybe that "1990" footage was actually from 1990.
    also, it says Dec 2 1990 and I don't thing LA would be that hot in December.

    I’ve long believed AI to be one of Spielberg’s best films and certainly one of his most underrated. Yes, Kubrick’s version would have likely been even better but as someone who thinks Spielberg, especially in recent years, has become increasingly overrated and predictable AI was and still is a film that mixed astonishing visuals with a surprisingly dark, dystopian take of Pinocchio. Yes, it still falls foul of The Beard’s cloying sentimentality but overall it’s his most fascinating, unique and rewatchable films in his career …
    … as for the recent fare we get the utter shite Crystal Skull, the forgettable Tintin, the dull and insipid West Side Story, the disposable BFG and the atrocious retro porn that was Ready Player One. Basically far too many duds for a supposed “master”

    During the quarantine sequence in "E.T." there's a shot where someone opens a door and vapor rushes out, except you can also see chunks of dry ice falling out. The mistake might not be in all versions, since I noticed it when they showed it on T.V. but then couldn't find it when we rented the video.

    There was a small error in Pitch Perfect, after the climax of the movie, Becca is seen entering the radio station she intern’s at. She was seen wearing her messenger bag as she unlocks the main door. But then, farther in, she’s then seen entering the DJ booth with her backpack on. It’s pretty obvious when you see it. 😅

    I love this guy talking about Twilight being the beginning of Kristen Stewart's career when she had been in films for 7 years prior to the release of Twilight.

      Well, they said it _launched_ her, which is arguably true when most people didn't know of her before Twilight

      @@BladedTales Except the comment wasn't about what made her career, he said it started her career, which is false. But I totally understand what you mean lol

    I have a bit of a soft spot for how absolutely bad WhatCulture is and how dumb the people hosting the videos are but ... I can't get past the first on this list. Title is, "Obvious Movie Bloopers We Can't Believe We Missed the First Time" ... Lead off example - the number on the plane. ... Yeah, I can't believe people weren't walking out of the theater over that huge glaring error. "A wizard did it" idiots at WhatCulture....

      In all fairness, that one is a lot more 'obvious' than most, in that the numbers are right there a foot high in the middle of the shot!

    Alien Research and Technology Department.
    ART
    The government loves three-letter acronyms and code names.
    So I see nothing wrong with this scene.
