I saw that interview with Brother Minister Farrakhan and Imam Warrith Deen Muhammad. Farrakhan was humble all the way through the interview.
I agree with you brother and glad to have came across this... We need more of these profound teachings as of the difference between the two without fear of discrediting or devaluing NOI. To correct some wrongs of the past as well as today. True Islam in America is very young and more so for black muslims. However, the pride to be a black American , fearless and learned muslim of AL Islam is birthing. You represent that and again thanks

ASA Brother….As a revert I don’t know much. Very much still seeking and searching. But it doesn’t appear that you are proving disbelief. It simply appears that you are proving perspectives, and Interpretations. And who knows the Perspectives of Allah (Swt) but Allah himself? If NOI are striving, and doing a work that Traditional Muslims historically have not…or simply ARE NOT willing to do…Then there is no place for Judgement from other Men who fall short themselves. Give/Return the greetings and Allah knows best.
I suggest you understand what makes you a disbeliever because that it exactly what the brother is saying. If you know the beliefs of NOI then this is a solid proof against what they believe. Think about Christianity. Is not Islam a proof against them associating partners with Allah?
What doesn't make sense is this thing where people keep saying that a messenger has to be a prophet. That can't be true. As much as you know about Islam with my limited knowledge, I know for a fact that Allah is ever sending messengers according to the Quran.
As salaamu alaikum, I believe there is a 3 option that br. Rizza and other brothers from the NOI espouse, separate from simply not knowing or being deceptive. That 3rd option is that they truly believe in what they are saying and know what mainstream Islam says about a certain topic, but they rationalize their perspective a certain way. You can say it's a form of ignorance, or not knowing, but I would distinguish that type of ignorance from not knowing. That could fall more into a category of what some might call misguided. And Allah knows best.
Shukran for sharing this brother. There are a lot of ignorant people in the comment section but the differences between the NOI and REAL orthodox Islam is very clear. The job is only to convey the message to the people and hopefully they will go and further educate themselves on the matter.

Your Hadith says that a messenger will be raised up every 100 years. Quran 44:5 says we are ever sending messengers. A messenger does not have to be a Prophet because his only job is to deliver a message, but a prophet is a messenger because a prophecy is automatically a message to the people. But a message from God does not have be prophecy, but it is still a divine message if it comes from God.

If prophet Muhammad (May Allah Be Please With him) was the Last Prophet, why don't we read in the Holy Quran of the plaques of his time (approx 1400 years ago) as we read of all the prophets and messagers before him?

@9:00 You make the argument that Adam was called a prophet in a hadith and Noah was called prophet + messenger in another hadith, therefore all messengers are prophets. This seems like a very weak argument to me, there simply isn’t enough evidence to make such a hard claim. I wouldn’t hang my hat on this type of argument, let alone call someone kuffar based on this argument.
@16:30 Regarding the resurrection of the dead, you call the NOI “disbelievers” for having a more esoteric understanding of the resurrection. I don’t think that would qualify as disbelief. Disbelief would be flat-out not believing it to be true in any way shape or form. And I did not like that you diminished the condition of Black Americans to simply be an inferiority complex. I think that you adopting that attitude is part of the reason why people like Umar Johnson say that Islam can’t help Black people.

On the sit down between WD Muhammad and Farrakhan, Farrakhan said, we know Master Fard Muhammad, a man born February is not the Creator of the heavens and the earth!!!
The Quran came through Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) but was not explained or taught by him. His job wasn’t to teach the message, a messenger to come later had that job.

Historically, most of us as black people in a Western society grew up with Christian cultural beliefs and influence. That been said, it doesn't surprise me when black people in mass believe god is man. It's part of the American culture like believing in Santa Claus. However, Christianity was a belief system that was superimposed on us. The challenge is, how do you rationalize people out of something (god being a man) that they were never rationalized into? The solution, in my humble opinion, the human mind has to be willing mature in knowledge, in terms of God (Creator) and self (creation). People have to be willing to separate the two, respectfully.
If Allah is not a Man, then what is He? I'll wait.....
Allah (the One God) is the Creator of the heavens and earth. Man (and woman) is a creation of the One God. The Holy Qur'an is a book of guidance to the human beings. Do you have to physically see god with your eyes to know that He exist? Logic, reason and observation bares witness. Theologically speaking, god coming in the person of a human being is Christian theology, not Islamic. That's not to take away from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his great efforts. The man was speaking to people who had a baby understanding of life and reality.

Brother, then where is Adam prophecy? There were no people to prophecy to in either Bible nor Holy Quran. Nowhere is the Quran does it say Adam was a prophet.
Surah Al Baqarah Allaah taught him the names of everything. Read the first five pages.
It’s truly sad how easy it is to misguide people. Few signs of a deceitful person: highly opinionated, harshly argumentative; when he speaks, he lies; speaks with ambiguity and prefers an ambiguous language (like English); he references weak opinions regarding his claims; he rarely sites notable scholars in the field (past/present); never references Q/S; doesn’t speak Arabic; lacks root/foundational knowledge on the topic; etc.

And wouldn’t every prophet be a messenger? Is the prophecy not a message from Allah? It’s the nature of the message and what it refers to (past, current, future events) that makes the messenger a prophet or not? How can you bring a prophecy and not a message simultaneously…

I believe personally that these beings taught the NATION their version of ISLAM which varies from the traditional orthodox version of ISLAM. There were many mentions of JINNS bringing knowledge and insight to men being that these beings were around and lived and met the messengers and were given their own guidance by the Prophets. The NATIONS ISLAM is an what I consider JINN ISLAM. Which is ISLAM, but with knowledge that was given to the JINNS. Cuz u have to ask how Master Farrad new that we were from a tribe called SHABAZZ. Which was an insight that was lost to the world also other insights that only a person who was there or had knowledge of being there personally could be deducted. The Quran gives us incites. READ.

And yusuf Ali was shia. So both are astray.

السلام عليك اخي. Love the khutbah about NOI and MSTA, the brothers mean well but are misguided. The NOI take their teachings from the MSTA and Elijah Muhammad was part of noble drew Ali temple. Now I do not have the opinion that either organization are Muslims. And they definitely do not follow Al nabiyy nor the Quraan nor his Sunnah. They praise noble drew Ali and Elijah Muhammad, I mean I have love for both of those brothers on a nationality level but on a religious level not so much. He’s clearly lying to the community. NOI theology comes from the Ahmadiyya Theology. If the roots are flawed so is the tree.
The proofs against the NOI teaches, are within the teachings themselves with directly goes against the teaching of Islam, wholesale and full-stop. The NOI teaches that there has been a succession of mortal gods, each a black man named Allah, of whom Fard Muhammad is the most recent. It claims that the first Allah created the earliest humans, the Arabic-speaking, dark-skinned Tribe of Shabazz, whose members possessed inner divinity and from whom all people of color are descended. It maintains that a scientist named Yakub then created the white race. We can't get past these points mentioned, without describing is accurately as pure and unadulterated Shirk! Allah (SWT) is ٱلْبَاطِنُ al Baatin: the inner One, the intimate One. He is closer to us than our jugular vein. Master Fard Muhammad did not create the heavens and the earth. Allah (SWT) appeared in the person of Fard Muhammad. The "Us", the "We" and the "Our" of the Qur'an is Allah in the Black Man. Allah breathed His Spirit into Adam; a Black Man created from Black Mud. Isa/Jesus was given this same Spirit. Isa created the form of a bird out of mud and breathed into it and it became a living bird by Allah's permission. That is Allah in Man and working through Man. No shirk there.
