For anyone watching who gets their car cleaned at the dealership, don’t... ever. I’ve worked at a Ford garage and it’s not that the detailers are unintelligent when it comes to cleaning it’s just we aren’t allowed to properly clean cars because it takes too long. The buckets aren’t rinsed for hours and the wash mitts are filthy. I’ve felt so awful with myself after seeing the poor paint on these cars after we’re done washing them but we have no choice. And then the managers yell at us for not having the car looking like new when they give us 15 minute wash times.

As I said I used to work at a dealership. I know it’s not the person doing the details fault.
What I was shocked was the treatment of $80,000+ vehicles. You would think they would want to spend at least a bit more time on it. Or take care of it better.
The dealership just wants them clean. And to the average person, they don’t care but definitely should

We have to drive a huge amount of midge flies.
What can be put on ahead of time on the paint, grill etc to make easier to get them of later
