The oldest son is a little hero, imagine at 11 having to smash a window to escape a grown man and raise the alarm, such a brave boy.

Amazing that Mariah survived. So sad about Willow. And at least this horrible man didn't succeed in killing all the kids. I believe the death penalty is in order. Hope he gets it. RIP Willow ❤😢
Such a sad story. I'll never understand how these sickos kill the children. Mariah is definitely a fighter and sadly she'll always have to fight the nightmares of losing her children. DV needs much stronger penalties. And Victim's Rights is a complete joke. She's a survivor and so am I.

The frequency of domestic violence in San Antonio is shocking. A man kills his partner at least one a week.
I guess they don't have any divorce attorneys down in San Antonio???
Men in the US murder the women who they claim to “love” at a rate of more than 3 per day.
@@jimc6687unfortunately, it's not always that simple. There are plenty of cops in SA too, but that doesn't always stop the abuse.
DV surviver, I can attest the law doesn't care about abusers who aren't physically abusive.

Unfortunately, nurse practitioners and other health care providers don't have to take the hypocratic oath. Only medical doctors. And I know that nurse practitioners may as well be the same thing, but they don't have to take it, which I think is ridiculous. Another great video from you guys! Much love!❤

He appeared to have no remorse. This is the most horrific act of selfishness one could commit, and not one ounce of remorse. Glad the mother is in court as a reminder of what he did to her and their defenseless baby daughter.
People who succumb to their injuries didn’t fight less than people who survived, they just happened to be too far gone to be saved. I hate the narrative that “survivors” fought to get where they are which implies that those who perished didn’t fight at all or didn’t fight hard enough… it’s bullshit.

I don’t think nurses don’t take the Hippocratic oath 🤔🤔🤔
Not that doctors necessarily heed it though. Many nurses take a pledge named after Florence Nightingale which does promise to uphold the Hippocratic oath. But it's not universal.
Most health care workers who obtain state licenses to practice take similar oaths.
MOST nurses (if not all) go into this noble profession not for the money or glory but with the drive to simply help people and whether or not they cite an official oath, I believe they automatically live their lives following the path of always helping others and never so much as thinking about shooting their spouses or children!

Mariah my thoughts and prayers with you and your sons. I went threw everything you said. My 2nd ex husband was exactly like your ex husband. He would beat me strangle me, keep me and my daughter way from family and friends. He also wouldn't let me first ex to see his daughter. He would pick me up and throw me out. I would have to sleep out side it didn't mader the wether. With out anything, he would throw anything at me. He threw a washing machine at me. My life is an open book it always has. How is your first response to victim blame? Did you not hear about the psychological abuse? Mothers have a hard time getting out of abusive relationships because of children. But she had the strength to get out. If anything, the law failed her because she couldn't keep her children away from him.
