    Kept my phone down and was speechless for a while when Amla said Asif. He was a bloody magician, such a shame how his career ended. We will never know what heights of success he could have reached, but within a few years of his time, he proved what a brilliant bowler he was.

    Gavaskar as a true legend and badass, he played in the 70s and 80s when fast bowlers went wild. @@ChallHattGavaskar only ever passed 50 once against Australia in Test's, when Dennis Lillee played. The legendary great fast bowler, dismissed him 6x's in 9x Test's & 1972 Rest of The World XI Test's, including a 1st & 5th ball duck. Gavaskar's top score against Australia was 70 & Lillee dismissed him. SG never mentions Lillee I'm the best he faced. DK said SG was medium quality. Greg Chappell scored more Test runs in his era than any other batsman. Speaks volumes. Between 1976 to 1983, Viv Richard's Test Batting Average was a phenomenal 66.17. He had eye surgery for Pterygium, a nasty eye disease, in 1984, which affected his eyesight & reflexes. Lillee, the greatest fast bowler of All-time. Viv, the best Test batsman since Bradman & ODI's greatest ever batsman. Gavaskar, an All-time great Opener.

      @ChallHatt 8 месяцев назад

      @@graemealexander8804 still the first man to score 10,000 test runs and remember he was an opener unlike Chappell and Richards. Gavaskar didn't have the resources that the Aussies or West Indies had. India didn't even have a fast bowler in their domestic circuits and every other nation had fierce fast bowlers. Gavaskar had to invent new ways to practice and counter the amazingly cruel fast bowlers of the 70s and 80s. And remember the best team in the world in his time were the West Indies and he has 13 centuries against them. So you can keep up with your selective reporting because for me he's still the best test opener of all time.
