The painting is beautiful. I love your pearl paintings. I also love love love your very clear instructions whether it’s on a voiceover or actually real time, this is so helpful. thank you thank you.
Hello- long late day yesterday so I could not watch. until now WOW Tara the end dried results are just stunning . The gold in this just adds the most brilliant finishing touch - I love it - has to be one of my top faves dearie :). 😘😘
I must have said Whoa ten times when watching your video. The only thing that broke up my Whoa fest was a commercial 😁. I'm always glad when I get commercials on your videos because it's a (very) small way I can support you in thank you for all your help. Man, I wish I had ordered the pale gold from MM. I got the rich gold which is more of a warm gold, kinda mustard color. With that incredible reaction you got with the MM I see that I will have to build a color pallet around the gold I have. Did you see that beautiful purple color peeking through on your piece when it dried? I hope it was on your painting and not just my screen. It's like you got a bonus prize, like a magic ring, at the end of your cereal box😋. Nothing not to love about this piece! Love the colors and the very cool effects! Looks like I'll be doing a Tara pearl pour today.😊🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁 signing off Mama Tera😂🥰
Thanks Mama Tera! 😆 that purple that you see is when the Payne’s gray reacts with that TLP ballet slipper. It’s so much a pretty combo! I have tube rich gold too so I’m sure you will see something soon with that combo! Thanks as usual for all of your kind words and I know you will make something beautiful! ❤️☺️🙏🏻
Omg Taraaa this is Soo Soo gorgeous 😍 it's definitely one of my favorites of yours!! (May be my #1 TBH) How beautiful!!?! I'm not biased, I'm just one of your biggest fans! 🤷🏻♀️😜♥️ Much love! 🤗💕
Tara, this is such a beautiful painting! The gold pour-over is amazing. I didn’t think getting that kind of cell reaction from using a metallic was possible. Gorgeous. 🐻
Thanks so much Bear. Honestly it is only possible with the modern masters paints from what I have seen so far. I believe the reason why is that they are mostly opaque or semi opaque metallics so they sink easier. I did try using the rustoleum paints and did not even get the same reaction as these modern masters paints even though they are the same company and mostly the same colors. So much trial and error…lol…but it sure feels good when you hit on something though! 🙏🏻☺️❤️
I love your pearls. I plan to try the Modern Masters paint. Thank you for sharing. I thought the Floetrol was what caused the pearls but your cells look healthier (one way to say it).
Thank you Jeanie! The basecoat recipe with satin enamel along with the pour over paint without satin enamel and the quick tilting all contribute to the pearls forming…floetrol is a contributor for sure in the recipe though.
Thanks so much Patty! I hear you. I feel the same way. It is nice to reset with another type of pour once in a while but this is definitely my favorite! 🙏🏻☺️❤️
Beautiful- I’ve watched a few of your videos and I really enjoy how you talk about the process, what you expected and how you were pleasantly surprised 🤩🤩 this piece is stunning
Thanks so much Stacey! It’s funny because I can’t talk and paint at the same time but I do like to give my perspective so the voiceover is a win win for me. I appreciate your comment because sometimes I wonder if I talk to much and people just want to watch with music. Thanks for your input! It means a lot! 🙏🏻☺️❤️🙏🏻
Thanks Deborah! Yes, check out my mixing videos. They are very informative. Start with the mixing for pearls 2022 video. It’s in the description box. ❤️☺️🙏🏻
Hi Cris- Yes that is sort of the process. There is an ingredient in the base coat that causes that cloudy cell to emerge. It is lighter in density so it floats and the heavier pour over paints (without satin enamel) sink. I hope this helps! 🙏🏻☺️❤️
Hell Macska! Unfortunately without seeing what you are doing I can’t trouble shoot your issues. If you follow my recipe and feel you still are having issues the only thing that I can recommend is an online zoom class. My rates are on my website PiecesofTaraArtistry.com. If you are interested please reach out to me. 🙏🏻☺️❤️
Thank you so much Christine. As for metallics…most of not all brands besides modern masters do not work well with the pour overs but Amsterdam paints work well. Any heavier opaque colors work well. Hope this helps! 🙏🏻☺️❤️
Thank you so much SJ! Yea there are a lot of ingredients. I have tried to make it simpler but for me, to get the pearls I want I feel like I have to use them all. I’m always experimenting though so maybe someday I can cut the ingredients down. ☺️❤️🙏🏻
I think the most intriguing thing I love about fluid art is the reactions we get !!😮🎉🎉
I agree Penny! They are completely unexpected sometimes…and other times we are able to plan it out and be intentional. It’s so much fun!! 🙏🏻☺️❤️
That was nice.
Thank you Elena! 🙏🏻☺️❤️

You are so welcome! I appreciate so much your kind words! 🙏🏻☺️❤️

This is beautiful Tara! I cannot wait to see the upcoming series, take care! 😻
Thank you Leesah! ❤️☺️🙏🏻
The lighter paint is poured first, then the heavier, so the cells bubble up?

@@PiecesofTaraArtistry I will try and let you know. Thank you!
It is beautiful ! Please help me,my pearls are so small ,never produced big pearls. Why ?I tried for different consistency...but are small.🤫

Where I live, there is no modern masters paints available. What other brands work well as a pour over paint? I love your work . 👍☺️
Thank you so much Christine. As for metallics…most of not all brands besides modern masters do not work well with the pour overs but Amsterdam paints work well. Any heavier opaque colors work well. Hope this helps! 🙏🏻☺️❤️
Please Can i know Whats the matériel white that u use ? Thal you very much 🙏🌹
Yes it is Satin Enamel Acrylic Paint. The recipe for the base coat is listed in the beginning of the video and also in the description box. ☺️🙏🏻
Do you mean BEHR 8300 ?
No Brenda. For the pearl cell technique you need the Behr 7300 Satin Enamel base paint. The bloom recipe used Behr 8300. It is not the same.
Beautiful. I wish the recipes for these was simpler. Too many ingredients for this girl.
Thank you so much SJ! Yea there are a lot of ingredients. I have tried to make it simpler but for me, to get the pearls I want I feel like I have to use them all. I’m always experimenting though so maybe someday I can cut the ingredients down. ☺️❤️🙏🏻
Beautiful!
Thank you Karyl! 🙏🏻☺️❤️
