Lerxst is a damn chord master!! and is it true the tune "Presto" has over 50 chords in it? if so is that unusual or normal for songs? i know nothing about guitar. love this vid.
Hi, follow you long ago, and I see that you are playing very well, I'm a fan of the Group Rush, since I was 17 years old, in 1977 I'm from Argentina and I play guitar aficionadamente. I would like to know where low scores of the songs of Rush, I had some issues but just follow the chords. Many thanks and I will continue to viendo.gracias.
The chords on the intro and verses are suspended chords. When you play that D at the top of the verse (or on the song's intro), try barring the 5th fret but only play the D and G string on the 7th fret. That is the shape Alex uses for all those second position barre chords in this song (I see you playing that type of chord on the chorus). When you play that D chord (for example), the B string should be barred at the 5th fret rather than adding it in on the 7th fret. Does that make sense? Same goes for the C chord and all those others you slide around to on the verses. Try it and I think you'll hear it. Nice job!
Actually, that is close Giant, but the first chord is X5078X, and then you slide that down to X3056X, then the solo notes, and a standard barred F major at the first fret. Toward the end of the song, Alex changes it up and by playing the same shape but barring those two chords at the fifth fret and the third fret and adding in the high E string to the mix. I figured that out by isolating the guitar frequency in the mix and could hear this clearly. Lines up with the blurry video of Alex playing this live!
Great sound! One of my favorite Alex performances on the album that made me a Rush fan in the early 80's.
Making all the right Signals there Dude...
You have inspired to start making my own videos. Thank you for being such a RUSH fan and keeping their music alive.
The best Rush covers, thanks for this one mate!
I always loved Alex's guitar on this track. Watching you play it makes me realize just how much I love it. Great job, as always.

Kick ass, as usual! Thanks for sharing!
great cover!
awesome
Well done!!
great cover, cool fuzzy sound :)
I wanna see the Guitar Cover of Losing It from Rush! Can you do that?
I've done a cover of Losing it but it's been blocked in some countries, which is probably why you can't find it.
signals is an underrated album. transitional point for Rush but great music as always. nice cover.
Thanks :)
You get almost the exact guitar tone.
Rock on bro -RUSH is the BEST!
thanks :)
For my sanity's sake, I hope YT never deletes your videos!
Nice. What kind of amp and effects are you using?
I plug the guitar into a Boss Micro BR, I don't use an amp. I get the effects out of the BR such as Chorus and Overdrive etc.

Ted Striker2112 definitely not normal
This one is VERY hard to play, crazy timing!
I know, I won't even attempt it. This guys completely nails it - such a good guitarist.
Yo! , Blobblob22: how do you like your Jay Turser Les Paul style guitar? I'm curious as to any opinions you have on it.....
***** I'm not well up on guitars anymore, haven't even heard of the Jay Turser Les Paul until you mentioned it
Blobblob22
I must be mistaken then, is that not you in the video? That is a Jay Turser Les Paul copy, am I right?
***** It's a Tokai guitar

the chords for closer to the heart are quite simple.
If it is true, but it is a beautiful theme with their chords simplesa.

To the bone is the level of badness you have achieved.
Too many notes...😆
